US spot Solana SOL$109.91+0.2% ETFs recorded net outflows of $24.8 million in the week of 5 to 9 October 2026, the first negative week after 14 straight weeks of inflows, according to The Block's analysis of SoSoValue data. The daily flow table kept by Farside Investors shows the same week at a slightly different total: net redemptions on all five trading days, adding up to $25.0 million.

Both data sets put the largest single day on Monday 5 October, at $9.2 million. Farside's table shows smaller outflows on each of the next four days: $3.7 million, $4.8 million, $3.5 million and $3.8 million. The Block reported that five consecutive outflow days is the longest such run since the funds launched in late October 2025, and that the previous longest was three days.

Bitwise's BSOL accounted for about $21M of the week's redemptions

Bitwise's BSOL, the largest fund in the group, lost $20.9 million over the week, about 84% of the total, according to The Block. The outlet said that was BSOL's largest weekly outflow on record, above the $17.0 million that left in the week ending 31 July 2026. Farside's table gives $21.0 million for BSOL, spread across four sessions, with no flow recorded on Tuesday 6 October.

The rest of the week's movement was small, per Farside. Grayscale's GSOL lost $3.7 million on 6 October and Fidelity's FSOL lost $2.1 million on 5 October. Morgan Stanley's MSOL took in $1.8 million on 8 October. Farside records no flows for the week in 21Shares' TSOL, Franklin Templeton's SOEZ or VanEck's VSOL, the fund whose first cash distribution we covered on 7 October 2026.

The Block's account differs on one point: it said MSOL and Invesco's QSOL were the only funds with weekly inflows, at a combined $2.0 million. Farside's table has no column for QSOL, and the two totals for the category sit about $0.2 million apart.

BSOL remains far larger than the week's redemptions. Bitwise's fund page listed net assets of $1,201,532,015 and 11,024,159.91 SOL held in trust as of 9 October 2026, with 99% of assets staked. The fund stakes through Bitwise's own operation using technology from Helius hSOL$130.86+0.3%, the page says.

How the outflow compares with the 14-week Solana ETF inflow streak

The 14-week run of inflows was the longest the funds have had, according to The Block, topping a 13-week stretch that began at launch and ended in late January 2026. The last negative week before this one was the week ending 26 June 2026, when the funds lost $1.8 million, the outlet said. It put the previous record weekly outflow at $8.9 million, in the week ending 6 February 2026, roughly a third of the latest figure.

Two weeks before the outflows, in the week ending 25 September 2026, the funds drew a record $188.2 million, per The Block; Farside's daily figures for that week sum to $188.1 million. That was the week Bitwise's chief executive said BSOL alone took in more than $110 million, and it followed the stretch in which we reported 12 consecutive weeks of net inflows. In the week of 28 September to 2 October, Farside's daily figures net to roughly $0.8 million of inflows by our sum, with two of the five days negative.

Cumulative net inflows into the funds stand at $1.58 billion, including $816.8 million so far in 2026, according to The Block; Farside's running total is $1,575 million. On those figures the week's redemptions equal about 1.6% of everything the funds have taken in.

Combined net assets fell to $1.73 billion from $1.90 billion a week earlier, and from a record $1.96 billion on 25 September 2026, The Block reported. Net assets move with the price of the SOL the funds hold as well as with money going in and out. Solana Compass's daily price data has SOL closing at $109.19 on 9 October 2026, about 10% below its $121.56 close on 4 October, after a week of closes between roughly $118 and $122.

What the Farside and SoSoValue flow figures leave out

Neither data set says who redeemed BSOL and the other funds' shares, or why. Flow tables record the net dollar value of shares created and redeemed each day, and nothing about the holders behind them. The Block's SoSoValue-based total and Farside's total also disagree by about $0.2 million for the week of 5 to 9 October 2026, and Farside notes that its table is generated automatically.

The figures cover a single week. No flow data exists yet for the week beginning 12 October 2026.
