US Spot Solana ETFs Cross $1.19 Billion in Cumulative Inflows as BSOL Claims 80% Market Share
US spot Solana ETFs have crossed $1.19B in cumulative net inflows, with Bitwise BSOL accounting for ~80% and posting a $108M single-day volume record.
US spot SOL exchange-traded funds have accumulated approximately $1.19 billion in cumulative net inflows since the category launched in October 2025, according to data reported by FinanceFeeds on August 24. Bitwise's BSOL accounts for roughly $948 million of that total (approximately 80% of the entire market), per CryptoBriefing, with Fidelity and Grayscale together holding more than $315 million in combined cumulative inflows.
The category crossed $1 billion in aggregate flows within ten months of BSOL's October 28, 2025 NYSE listing as the first US spot Solana product structured with built-in staking rewards.
Solana ETFs Record Their Strongest Daily Session at $33.5M on August 24
Solana ETFs drew $33.5 million in combined net inflows on August 24, more than triple Friday's $10 million and their strongest single session per FinanceFeeds. That $33.5 million gave Solana funds more than 17% of the $192.6 million flowing into all US crypto ETFs on the day, with Bitcoin products capturing the majority at $128.7 million and Ether ETFs adding $24.7 million.
BSOL contributed $25 million of August 24's total, Fidelity's FSOL $4.8 million, and Grayscale's GSOL $3.7 million, with smaller amounts from VanEck's VSOL and 21Shares' TSOL, according to FinanceFeeds.
BSOL Trading Volume Hits $108M Record, With $261M Across Four Sessions
Alongside the inflow data, BSOL set a single-day trading volume record of $108 million on August 25, per Coinfomania, which also reported $261 million in total BSOL volume across the prior four trading sessions.
Trading volume and net inflows measure different things: volume counts all secondary-market share transactions regardless of direction, while net inflows reflect net capital entering the fund after creation and redemption activity. BSOL's AUM stood at $770 million as of August 22, per our prior coverage. The $948 million cumulative inflow total exceeds that AUM figure because SOL's price drawdown during H1 2026 reduced the dollar value of held assets even as new capital continued arriving โ a dynamic covered in BSOL's H1 2026 SEC 10-Q filing.
Inside BSOL: 8.46M SOL Staked via Helius at 5.82% Net Yield
Unlike a standard spot ETF, BSOL holds 8.46 million SOL in active staking positions rather than keeping assets idle, generating a net staking yield of approximately 5.82% for shareholders, per the fund's official site. Staking is conducted through Bitwise Onchain Solutions using Helius hSOL$119.88+7.4% infrastructure. The fund charges a 0.20% annual sponsor fee, waived on the initial $1 billion in assets for the first three months after launch.
Solana SOL$100.21+6.8%'s approval of staking within an ETF wrapper, a structure not available to Bitcoin or Ether spot products, is a structural differentiator BSOL has held since launch. Fidelity's FSOL and the remaining competitors do not include staking, which may explain why BSOL's cumulative inflow share has remained near 80% despite a competitive field.
Fidelity and Grayscale Combined at $315M+; VanEck and 21Shares Trail
Fidelity and Grayscale together account for more than $315 million in cumulative net inflows, per CryptoBriefing, representing roughly 26% of the category total. The remaining share is split among VanEck's VSOL and 21Shares' TSOL, both of which have drawn limited inflows relative to the three leaders.
The degree of concentration in BSOL is sharper than what Bitcoin ETFs experienced at comparable stages, where BlackRock's IBIT and Fidelity's FBTC split the market more evenly early on. Bitwise and Superstate have also announced plans to explore tokenizing BSOL shares on-chain, a project reported on August 14, which would allow institutional holders to represent ETF positions as blockchain-native tokens with identical economic rights to DTC-held shares.
