The Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (BSOL) crossed $1 billion in assets under management on August 26, exactly 10 months after its October 2025 launch and the first US-listed Solana SOL$103.45-5.0% ETF to reach that mark. Q2 13F filings the same week placed Goldman Sachs at the top of the institutional holder list: $88.1 million in US spot Solana ETFs across Bitwise, Grayscale, and Fidelity products as of June 30, per CryptoBriefing.

The official BSOL fund page records $1,017,521,145 in net assets as of August 26, with 9,332,360.79 SOL in trust. Ninety-six percent of those holdings are staked toward a 100% target through Helius hSOL$122.37-5.3%, at a net reward rate of 5.80% annually after the fund's 0.20% sponsor fee (6.17% gross).

Goldman Sachs Rebuilt $88.1M Solana ETF Position After Exiting in Q1 2026
Q2 2026 13F filings from Goldman Sachs disclosed $88.1 million in US spot Solana ETFs as of June 30, distributed across Bitwise, Grayscale, and Fidelity products, per CryptoBriefing. Goldman is the largest known institutional holder of the category.
Goldman had liquidated its entire Solana ETF exposure by end of Q1 2026 (when the cumulative position had exceeded $107 million, per CryptoBriefing) and rebuilt to $88.1 million across Q2. XRP ETF exposure followed the same trajectory: positions cleared in Q1 and rebuilt in Q2 with $86.5 million across five spot XRP products. CryptoBriefing notes the parallel rebalancing across both asset classes points to a coordinated allocation strategy rather than separate directional calls on each.
The Block reports that advisors were net buyers in Q2 while hedge funds were net sellers across the Solana ETF category.
10-Day Record Inflow Stretch and BSOL's Dominant 79% Flow Share
The Defiant reports $138 million in net inflows across the Solana ETF category over the 10 days leading to the August 26 milestone, the longest sustained inflow stretch on record for the category. On August 27 alone, BSOL pulled $40.2 million while all six tracked products combined for $56.1 million; Grayscale's GSOL took $6.2 million and Fidelity's FSOL took $5.8 million on the same day.
BSOL accounts for roughly 79% of cumulative net flows among the six US Solana products, a share it has held since its early-market launch. Compass first tracked BSOL's lead at the $770M AUM mark this month; last week's cumulative inflow figure stood at $1.19 billion with a $33.5 million single-day record.
Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas described the broader category's performance since launch:
Cumulative trading volume across all US Solana ETFs has surpassed $13 billion since the products first listed in late 2025, per The Block. Bitwise said: "Capital markets are coming onchain, and Solana's just getting started."
