BSOL Captures All $8.8M in US Spot Solana ETF Inflows on August 10
Bitwise BSOL recorded $8.8M in net inflows on August 10, accounting
The entire US spot SOL ETF category generated $8.8 million in net inflows on August 10, 2026. Every dollar went to one fund.
Bitwise's BSOL posted $8.83 million in net inflows that day, according to Farside Investors. Five rival US spot Solana SOL$103.96+2.1% ETFs (VanEck's VSOL, Fidelity's FSOL, 21Shares' TSOL, Franklin Templeton's SOEZ, and Grayscale's GSOL) each recorded zero. BSOL accounted for the entirety of whatever capital moved into the category that session.
The timing sets the day apart. Per Farside Investors, the category had not produced meaningful aggregate inflows since July 27, when BSOL logged $1 million, and an $18.1 million outflow on July 28 kicked off the flat stretch that followed. Seven consecutive sessions through August 7 saw either zero category-wide net flows or, on August 6, a minor FSOL net outflow. August 10 was the first day the overall category returned to positive ground. A five-day stretch through August 4 in which the entire category saw no net inflows was noted by CryptoBriefing, with Farside data showing the flat period ran through August 7.
BSOL's Cumulative Lead Over US Spot Solana ETF Rivals
Per CryptoBriefing, BSOL launched on October 28, 2025, with a 0.20% management fee and an initial waiver covering the first $1 billion in assets. Farside Investors data shows the fund's 6% fee on staking rewards is the lowest in the category.
As of August 10, BSOL had accumulated approximately $900.7 million in cumulative net inflows out of a $1.13 billion category total, per Farside Investors, giving it roughly 80% of all net capital that has entered the US spot Solana ETF space. The five other funds together account for the remaining $229.3 million, per the same source, with TSOL (21Shares) the only fund in negative territory at a cumulative net outflow of $102 million.
Solana Compass covered BSOL's H1 2026 data in detail earlier this month: $267.1 million in net inflows through June was offset by roughly $316 million in market-led losses, leaving total net assets at $592.3 million by the half-year mark. Inflow figures and NAV move independently when the underlying asset falls.
BSOL's 6% Staking Fee Is the Lowest in the US Solana ETF Category
The competitive picture across the six funds illustrates why reversing a first-mover lead is structurally difficult. Per Farside Investors, management fees range from 0.19% (SOEZ and GSOL) to 0.30% (VSOL), with BSOL at 0.20%. Staking fees show a wider spread: FSOL charges 15%, VSOL 25%, BSOL 6%, TSOL 10% or higher, SOEZ 8%, and GSOL 7%, per the same source.
Lower staking fees matter specifically because Solana ETF staking revenue is not trivial. An investor choosing between two comparable funds with similar management fees will lean toward the one that passes through more of the staking yield, and in this category, BSOL currently has the widest margin on that measure.
The liquidity dynamic adds to the disparity. A fund with more assets under management supports tighter bid-ask spreads in secondary trading, which makes it more attractive to institutional buyers who require deep liquidity at scale. Funds with less AUM face a structurally higher cost of secondary transactions, which limits their appeal to exactly the allocators they need to grow. BSOL's AUM lead makes that dynamic more pronounced with each passing month.
US Spot Solana ETF Total Inflows Hit $1.13B With BSOL Holding 80% Share
Since launching in October 2025, the US spot Solana ETF category has accumulated $1.13 billion in cumulative net inflows across all six funds, per Farside Investors. Bitcoin ETFs attracted tens of billions in net inflows within months of their January 2024 launch, per CryptoBriefing. The Solana category has built its institutional allocator base at a different pace.
August 10 broke a stretch in which the category had posted either zero or negative daily flows for more than a week. Whether the five competing funds can develop their own consistent flow patterns, or whether BSOL continues to capture the majority of category inflows, is the structural question the category will keep answering.
