All Six US Solana ETFs Recorded Zero Net Flows for Five Consecutive Sessions
All six US Solana spot ETFs posted zero primary-market flow for five
Five trading sessions, six Solana ETFs, and the same number repeated across all of them: $0.00.
Farside Investors data for July 29 through August 4, 2026 shows zero net primary-market flow for each of the six US spot Solana SOL$96.79-1.2% ETFs: BSOL (Bitwise), VSOL (VanEck), FSOL (Fidelity), TSOL (21Shares), SOEZ (Franklin Templeton), and GSOL (Grayscale). The pause followed an $18.1 million outflow from BSOL on July 28 and ran through a period when Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs continued recording significant daily inflows.
What Primary-Market Flow Measures in Solana ETFs
A daily net-flow number tracks the balance between fund-share creations and redemptions at the primary-market level. Authorized participants handle that process: when institutional demand warrants it, they create new shares by delivering SOL to the fund; when it does not, they redeem shares back. Zero on that tally means no creations or redemptions settled on that day.
It does not measure secondary-market trading, the exchange activity where existing shares change hands between buyers and sellers throughout the session. BSOL held $596.37 million in net assets as of August 2, per Farside, accumulated over the fund's nine-month life since its October 28, 2025 launch. Those assets are unaffected by a pause in primary-market activity.
Seed Capital's 40% Share of the $1.1 Billion Total
Cumulative net flows across all six products reached $1.122 billion through August 4, according to Farside Investors. Of that total, $449.3 million (approximately 40%) represents seed capital provided at launch, not organic investor demand. An additional $102.7 million within the GSOL total is classified as a conversion from an earlier Grayscale product rather than fresh capital entering the category.
That leaves roughly $672 million in flows representing genuine primary-market activity beyond the initial seeding. For products less than ten months old, that base is meaningful; it is also a materially different figure than the $1.122 billion headline implies.
Solana ETF Flows Against Bitcoin and Ethereum on August 4
On August 4, the final session of the zero-flow streak, Bitcoin ETFs recorded $211.5 million in net inflows and Ethereum ETFs added $53.1 million, per Farside. Those figures reflect products with structurally different scale: US Bitcoin ETFs launched in January 2024 and have built a much larger authorized-participant ecosystem than Solana's six-product category, which is less than a year old.
Monthly Solana ETP flow data from Messari shows July 2026 totaling $18.9 million, nearly flat relative to June's $19.1 million, and below May's $110.6 million peak, which was the category's strongest month since the October 2025 US launch.
July Was Consistent Before the Five-Day Pause
The zero-flow run arrived after a month that had been notable for its consistency. As Solana Compass reported, every US trading session in July had closed with positive net inflows across the Solana ETF category, a streak that held while SOL traded approximately 57% below the price at which the funds launched in October 2025.
That run ended with BSOL's $18.1 million outflow on July 28. The five zero-flow sessions that followed covered the final trading days of July and the first two sessions of August. TSOL's net assets of $3.09 million as of August 3, per Farside, illustrate how divergent scale remains across the six products even after months of accumulation. BSOL held assets nearly 200 times larger than the smallest fund in the group.
