FOMO Overtakes GMGN to Lead All Trading Apps in 7-Day Revenue Across Blockchains
FOMO, the Solana-native social trading app, has overtaken [PROJECT:614]] (GMGN) to claim the top position among all trading apps by 7-day revenue across every blockchain, according to [DeFiLlama data as of July 20. ... The current rolling window runs July 13–20 and places FOMO ahead of GMGN, which earns trading fees across Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, Base, and other networks.
GMGN
GMGN is a meme token trading terminal that combines on-chain analytics, smart money tracking, and automated trade execution in a single interface. Founded in June 2023 by co-founders Haze and Jerry Ma, the Singapore-based platform initially targeted Ethereum before pivoting to Solana in January 2024 and going live there in May 2024. By late 2024 it had grown to a team of approximately 30 people and was generating over $700,000 in daily revenue.
The platform charges a 1% handling fee per trade. According to DeFiLlama, GMGN recorded $45.5 million in fees over a 30-day window, with $37.26 million counted as protocol revenue. Daily trading volume peaked at $235 million on January 19, 2025.
Token Discovery and Security Analysis
GMGN continuously monitors token launches across Pump.fun, Raydium, FourMeme, and letsbonk, surfacing new listings filtered by market cap, volume, and creation time. For each token it surfaces, the platform runs a set of automated checks: LP burn status, honeypot detection, contract renouncement, and minting capability.
Beyond pass/fail security flags, the terminal calculates four real-time risk metrics for every token: the ratio of insider or rat wallets among holders, the proportion of supply acquired through bundle buys at launch, the developer wallet's current holdings as a percentage of supply, and the concentration held by the top ten wallets. Traders can filter the new-token feed against these thresholds before entering a position.
Wallet Analytics and Smart Money Tracking
Users can enter any wallet address and receive a full breakdown of that wallet's trading history: realized and unrealized PnL, win rate, risk/reward ratio, current holdings valuation, and a complete trade log. For developer wallets, the platform also surfaces every token the address has deployed, together with the all-time-high market cap each token reached.
This infrastructure powers GMGN's copy trading feature. Users can identify wallets with strong historical performance and configure automated rules to mirror their trades, with parameters for sizing, slippage, and execution timing.
Execution and Automation
Trade execution runs through the web terminal or a chain-specific Telegram bot, both connected to the same user-controlled wallet. Slippage and priority fees are adjustable per trade. The platform supports take profit, stop loss, trailing take profit, and trailing stop loss orders, as well as multi-wallet batch orders.
MEV protection is available in three tiers: disabled for maximum speed, reduced for a balanced approach, and secure for stricter routing that adds some latency in exchange for protection against sandwich attacks. The platform introduced formal MEV protection in July 2025 after data showed GMGN trades accounted for approximately 30.8% of the 260,000-plus sandwich attacks recorded on Solana during a 30-day window in April 2025. Alongside the technical fix, GMGN established a compensation program for users who suffered losses while the protection feature was enabled.
The AFK automation system allows traders to set rules that execute without active monitoring, suitable for holding through volatility or harvesting profits at defined targets.
Multi-Chain Expansion
GMGN supports trading on ten chains as of September 2026: Solana, BNB Chain, Base, Ethereum, Monad, TRON, HyperEVM, MegaETH, XLayer, and Robinhood Chain. The web terminal and Telegram bots operate across all of these, with the same wallet and analytics infrastructure.
A mobile app launched in December 2024. GMGN GO, a social trading layer for mobile, went live in September 2026, allowing users to follow specific traders, track their callouts in real time, and browse a full trader leaderboard from a phone interface.
Developer and AI Integration
GMGN provides a trading API for institutional and high-volume users, structured around three primary endpoints: a router that returns swap routes with anti-MEV support, a transaction submission endpoint, and a status query endpoint for confirming execution. Authentication uses an API key tied to trading volume, with a 24-hour approval window and a rate limit of one call per five seconds.
In September 2026, GMGN launched a set of AI Skills that package its token data, wallet data, market data, execution, and signal-tracking APIs as callable tools for AI agents. A token-buy skill, for example, takes a natural-language order, identifies the canonical token among potential duplicates, runs volume and contract safety checks, and sizes the order for the user to sign. Signing and execution remain under user control.
The platform also integrated FOMOscan call markers onto its charts in September 2026, pinning third-party analyst callouts to the precise time they were posted, alongside buy and sell activity from FOMOscan's tracked wallets, without requiring traders to leave the terminal.
Context
GMGN occupies the intersection of token discovery tooling, on-chain intelligence, and retail trade execution. Its daily user base of roughly 8,000 traders, its Telegram bot infrastructure, and its continued chain expansion reflect a product built around the pace and risk profile of meme token markets, where most losses occur in the first minutes after launch and where wallet history is among the most reliable signals available.
