FOMO's weekly protocol revenue on Solana crossed $1.57 million for the seven days ending approximately July 27, per DeFiLlama data, a new all-time high and the platform's second weekly record in eleven days. Blockworks confirmed the milestone on July 27, calling FOMO "one of the standout consumer products in crypto this year."

The new high breaks the $1.39 million all-time high established for the week ending July 16, which Compass covered when FOMO surpassed GMGN to lead all trading apps by seven-day revenue across every chain.

What the $1.57M Revenue Figure Measures

DeFiLlama's methodology for FOMO is clear: all fees are collected by the app itself, with no distinction between the protocol and the team. Trading fees from self-custodial swaps on Solana drive the bulk of the figure, approximately $1.55 million of the $1.57 million trailing-week total. Builder code fees on Hyperliquid perpetual contracts account for the remaining $26,400.

There are no governance token emissions, no liquidity-mining incentives, and no inflationary revenue mechanisms in that figure. Every dollar is a fee from a real on-chain trade.

How FOMO's Copy-Trading Model Compounds Swap Fees

FOMO is a self-custodial mobile trading app built primarily on Solana, combining a social feed with on-chain token swaps. Users follow active traders, see their positions in real time, and can replicate any trade with a single tap. Onboarding works via Apple Pay or Google, with no seed phrase or browser extension required.

The copy-trading mechanic is what amplifies the fee model. When a follower mirrors a trade, every replicated swap generates a separate fee for the protocol. A single trader broadcasting entries and exits to a large follower base multiplies the protocol's fee revenue with each position. The social graph functions as a revenue multiplier: activity that would generate one fee in isolation generates many when it cascades through followers.

FOMO expanded to Hyperliquid in 2026, letting users access perpetuals from the same interface. The Hyperliquid component contributed about 1.7% of trailing-week revenue per DeFiLlama, making Solana DEX activity the dominant fee source by a wide margin.

Eight Months of Growth, From $150K a Week to $1.57M

FOMO began generating meaningful revenue in the second half of 2025, with weekly figures running near $150,000, per DeFiLlama historical data. The platform raised $17 million in a Series A from Benchmark in November 2025, then a $75 million Series B led by Index Ventures with Union Square Ventures participating, closed June 22, 2026. Total funding stands at $94 million, per DeFiLlama's funding records for the protocol.

The quarterly income statement on DeFiLlama adds context. Gross protocol revenue reached $9.23 million in Q1 2026 and $7.24 million in Q2 2026. The Q3 2026 partial figure sits at $6.03 million in the first 27 days, a daily pace of roughly $223,000, compared with $79,000 per day in Q2 and $103,000 per day in Q1. The new ATH week runs at approximately $224,000 per day, consistent with the Q3 trajectory.

The acceleration within Q3 is the notable data point. FOMO's best quarter by total revenue was Q1 2026 at $9.23 million, but the daily rate in the first 27 days of Q3 has already exceeded that Q1 daily average by more than two times.

FOMO Holds Third in Solana Weekly Revenue, Ahead of Jupiter

In the period covered on July 17, FOMO placed third among all Solana protocols by seven-day revenue at $1.39 million, behind only Pump.fun and Phantom CASH$1.0000.0%. That ranking put it ahead of Jupiter JUP$0.184-4.4%, which ran at $915,000 over the same week per DeFiLlama. The new ATH at $1.57 million extends that standing.

The cross-chain comparison adds further context: Compass reported that FOMO overtook GMGN to rank first among all trading apps globally by seven-day revenue across every blockchain on DeFiLlama.

What distinguishes FOMO's position in that table is the absence of token incentives inflating the figures. Its nearest competitors in the trading app category tend to run native tokens that reward trading activity, mixing product demand with incentive-chasing behavior. FOMO's revenue reflects user-initiated trades and nothing else.

The week ending July 27 is the fourth consecutive week FOMO has featured in Compass reporting on Solana protocol revenue. The first was a brief spike in daily revenue on July 12, which at the time looked like an outlier. The weekly data since has shown it was not.
