FOMO Captures 46% of Solana Trading Platform Spot Volume as Weekly Revenue
FOMO claimed 46% of Solana trading platform spot volume per Blockworks
FOMO now holds 46% of daily Solana trading platform spot volume, according to the Blockworks analytics dashboard published August 23-24. Axiom, which led this market for most of 2026, dropped below 30% share in the same period. The shift arrived alongside a separate milestone: a $667K single-day net revenue record on August 23 brought FOMO's weekly net revenue to a new all-time high of $3.73 million.
The gap has closed faster than the headline numbers alone convey. In June 2026, Axiom held roughly 44.6% of daily Solana trading terminal volume against FOMO's 17.2% share, per Blockworks analytics. By August 6, FOMO had overtaken Axiom as Solana's top daily trading terminal by volume for the first time. Eighteen days later, FOMO's share is nearly double Axiom's.
How FOMO Moved From Challenger to Volume Leader
Blockworks analytics tracks trading platforms as a distinct category from the broader Solana DEX market: purpose-built apps like FOMO, Axiom, and GMGN that aggregate and route retail order flow. A 46% share in that category means FOMO now handles roughly half of all Solana trading platform spot volume.
The climb happened in steps. In July, FOMO was third in Solana protocol revenue. By August 16, the app had surpassed Hyperliquid in 24-hour protocol revenue. On August 21, it entered the US iPhone Finance top three, ranking alongside Capital One and PayPal and above Cash App. The August 23 revenue record arrived two days later.
The app's social copy-trading model lets users browse public portfolios and replicate trades in one tap, drawing retail traders toward FOMO and away from Axiom's more traditional terminal interface. The market share data reflects that at scale.
$667K Single-Day Revenue Drives the Weekly ATH
Carlos Gonzalez Campo, a research analyst at Blockworks, reported the August 23 figures the following morning:
Annualizing $3.73M over 52 weeks implies roughly $194M in annual net revenue, which explains the restraint.
DeFiLlama confirms the current scale. As of August 24, FOMO's trailing seven-day revenue across all chains stands at $3.39M, with the Solana component at $3.18M. The 24-hour figure is $610K. Over the trailing 30 days, FOMO has generated $11.44M in total revenue, with an annualized rate of $35.6M. In Q3 2026 through August 24, gross protocol revenue stands at $17.72M, more than double Q2 2026's full-quarter total of $7.24M, per DeFiLlama's income statement.
Revenue Built on Trading Fees, Not Token Incentives
The revenue model is straightforward: FOMO collects a fee on each swap users execute through the app, with no governance token and no emissions inflating the count. DeFiLlama's fee methodology confirms that trading fees from Solana DEX swaps make up the primary source, with a smaller component from Hyperliquid perpetuals builder code revenue.
The prior weekly revenue record of $2.64M was set the week of August 8, up 68% from the $1.57M mark set July 27. The $3.73M ATH broke it by 41% in 16 days. FOMO processed $50.35M in Solana spot DEX volume on August 24, across 1.06 million transactions and 60,050 active addresses, per DeFiLlama.
FOMO has raised $94M in total funding, including a $75M Series B from Index Ventures and USV closed June 22, 2026 at a $550M valuation, per DeFiLlama.
Axiom Cedes Market Share in a Growing Category
Axiom held roughly 44.6% of Solana trading terminal volume as recently as June 2026, per Blockworks analytics. That share has dropped to below 30% as of August 23.
As we covered in FOMO's prior weekly revenue all-time high, the platform has broken its own revenue record three times since July 27. The combination of 46% spot volume share and a $3.73M weekly revenue record puts FOMO as the dominant revenue-generating trading app on Solana by both measures at the same time.
