Blocksmith Labs

Blocksmith Labs is a Solana product studio that grew out of the 2022 NFT market. It builds tools for NFT projects and their communities, runs two NFT collections, and ties them together with its FORGE utility token.

The team formed in February 2022. The official website says its goal is to "create the best Web3 products that will enable the next generation of companies, artists, individuals, and creators." Its early pitch was that engineers would fix practical problems for Solana NFT projects, such as collecting whitelists, stopping mint bots and discovering new projects, while giving collection holders utility.

Smyths: the founding collection

The first release was the Smyths collection, 4,444 NFTs launched on Solana in March 2022 through the Magic Eden [[PROJECT:272]] launchpad. Collection listings put the mint at 24 March 2022 at 2.2 SOL. Smyths holders sit at the center of the ecosystem. Holding and staking a Smyth earns FORGE, which can then be spent across Blocksmith's other products. The collection still has its own site at smyths.io.

FORGE token

FORGE [[TOKEN:FoRGERiW7odcCBGU1bztZi16osPBHjxharvDathL5eds]] is the ecosystem's main utility token. The website says FORGE is built into all of its tools and apps. Holders spend it on raffles and auctions for whitelist spots, on NFTs, and on other items offered through Blocksmith products. The Bifrost launchpad also uses FORGE (see below). In October 2023 Blocksmith introduced FORGE staking on Atlas3, which gives stakers a chance to win prizes every 48 hours without losing any of their staked FORGE.

FORGE is a small, thinly traded token. When this profile was written in September 2026, Solana Compass token data showed a market cap below $100,000, liquidity of a few thousand dollars, and a price near its all-time low.

Products

The Blocksmith Labs site lists these products:

• Atlas3 is an NFT discovery and community hub. It is designed around three problems: discovery, curation and getting information to users. Users browse projects, enter giveaways, request allowlist spots, get notifications and see insights. Projects run raffles and manage allowlists from a creator dashboard. A community primer describes separate flows for new users, project creators and regular users. Atlas3 supports several blockchains, not just Solana. It has become the company's main ongoing product. In August 2026 Blocksmith announced that Atlas3 now supports X (Twitter) requirements on its paid creator plan.
• Bifrost (bifrost.blocksmithlabs.io) is a Solana NFT launchpad built around price discovery. Projects can choose a dynamic-price public mint, which starts at a set price and adjusts to demand, or a fixed-price mint with anti-bot protection. Whitelisting uses Discord roles, so projects don't need to collect wallet addresses, and verification works through Matrica. Bifrost can freeze NFT transfers so minted items can't be listed on secondary markets too early. Its fee model mints a small share of each collection's supply for FORGE, and those NFTs go to the protocol treasury. Dynamic-price mints pay fees only when they raise more than a fixed-price mint would have, and there are no ongoing royalties. The site was still reachable in 2026, labeled v0.9.0 beta on mainnet.
• Mercury was a whitelist management tool that collected addresses for projects and users. The site says it gave access to more than 60,000 Solana users. Its subdomain no longer resolves.
• Raven is described as a gamified marketing platform that rewards tweet engagement and runs giveaways.
• Shift is described as a dynamic art engine that lets NFT holders customize their artwork.

Meegos

Meegos is Blocksmith's second NFT collection: 10,000 characters that its website describes as having "a delightful blend of mischief and badassery." The brand targets gamers, content creators and trendsetters. Around the collection sit Meegos Mayhem, a playable game where holders take customized Meegos through toy-themed arenas, and a Meegos Welcome App for the community. The site also lists MeeArcade and MeeStream, and marks MeeSports and MeeStores as experimental.

Open-source work

The Blocksmith Labs GitHub organization has a small set of public repositories. The best known is solana-next-auth, a Next.js boilerplate that shows Solana wallet sign-in with NextAuth.js. The organization also holds forks of Cardinal's NFT staking and token-manager programs, last updated in 2023–2024, along with asset and Meegos site repositories. Most of this code dates from 2022–2024. No security audits of Blocksmith's products are published on its website or GitHub.

Team

The website lists two co-CEOs: Cryptonent, who leads marketing and product, and Harmy, who focuses on customer retention. Gee2Kay is COO and Wozgun is CTO. All go by pseudonyms.

Current status

Blocksmith Labs is still active, though its focus has moved away from the 2022 NFT tooling suite. Some early products, such as Mercury, are offline. Atlas3 is still getting updates. In October 2025 the team advertised for a full-time React Native developer to build iOS and Android apps, calling itself "in the shadows building the next big thing on solana." On 1 September 2026 the Blocksmith Labs account announced "Aurus is now live," quoting the launch post for Aurus. Aurus is a self-custodial Solana trading wallet that charges a flat 0.001 SOL per swap.

Place in the Solana ecosystem

Blocksmith Labs is one of the NFT-era Solana studios that made infrastructure as well as collections. Its launchpad, allowlist and giveaway tools served other NFT projects during the 2022–2023 mint cycle. Atlas3 is the main survivor of that suite and now serves projects on several chains. The Smyths and Meegos collections, together with FORGE, remain the core of its community.
