About

Smyths

[[PROJECT:417]] is a 4,444-piece Solana NFT collection built and operated by Blocksmith Labs, a Singapore-incorporated entity (Blocksmith Labs PTE. LTD.). The collection launched in March 2022 under the name Blocksmiths, minting at 2 SOL, and has since anchored a broader product ecosystem through a shared utility token, [[TOKEN:FoRGERiW7odcCBGU1bztZi16osPBHjxharvDathL5eds]].

The Pantheon: Aesir, Vanir, and the Ascension Path

Smyths is built around a fantasy lore set in a realm called the Pantheon, which is divided into two opposing factions: Aesir and Vanir. Aesir Smyths are rendered in brighter, higher-contrast aesthetics; Vanir Smyths use darker, more detailed artwork. OG Smyths — the original collection from the March 2022 mint — form a third category.

Holders can move between factions through a mechanic called the Ascension path. The process is irreversible: once a holder ascends their OG Smyth into the Aesir or Vanir faction, there is no returning to the original form. The Ascension event in October 2022 catalyzed both this mechanic going live and a structural rebrand: the NFT collection was renamed from Blocksmiths to Smyths, while the parent organization retained the Blocksmith Labs name. According to a company announcement cited by Solana Floor, the split was intended to give clarity as an organization and allow distinct branding for the collection and the broader company.

Each of the 4,444 NFTs carries ten attributes covering more than 140 distinct traits. The collection carries a 4.4% royalty fee on secondary sales, which Blocksmith Labs reduced from 8.8% in 2022 alongside migrating the collection to Metaplex's enforceable royalty standard.

$FORGE: Staking and Token Economics

$FORGE is the utility token that connects Smyths holders to the Blocksmith Labs product suite. Staking a Smyths NFT generates $FORGE daily: OG Smyths earn 10 $FORGE per day, and ascended Smyths earn 12 $FORGE per day. Spent $FORGE returns to a treasury intended to fund ongoing ecosystem activity rather than being permanently burned from supply.

The token has a maximum supply of 44 million. As of mid-2026, approximately 9.99 million $FORGE are in circulation. The token reached an all-time high of $1.58 in October 2022, coinciding with the Ascension event launch, before declining sharply. Current trading activity is minimal: the token trades at roughly $0.005 with a circulating market cap of approximately $229,000.

$FORGE functions across the Blocksmith Labs ecosystem as a medium of exchange for raffles, whitelist auctions, giveaways, and purchases of physical items where applicable. The token's CertiK security rating stands at 2.7 out of 10, reflecting the absence of a formal smart contract audit for the ecosystem.

The Blocksmith Labs Product Ecosystem

Smyths was designed from the start as the community-facing brand for a company building infrastructure tools across Solana. Five products sit alongside the Smyths collection under the Blocksmith Labs umbrella.

Mercury is a whitelist management platform. It allows NFT projects to collect wallet addresses from a claimed user base exceeding 60,000 Solana users, and gives those users unified access to whitelist opportunities across participating projects. The company reported more than 300 projects onboarded Mercury at various points in its growth.

Bifrost is a Solana NFT launchpad focused on price discovery and anti-bot protections. Projects use it to manage token sales and mint events. Blocksmith Labs positions it as a tool for maximizing capital raised during launch phases while reducing the advantage of automated buyers.

SHIFT is a dynamic art generation engine. It allows NFT projects to update, evolve, or customize their artwork on-chain, enabling the kind of trait upgrades and faction-switching mechanics that Smyths itself employs through the Ascension path.

Raven is a gamified marketing tool. Projects and influencers use it to incentivize community engagement — tweet interactions, account follows, giveaways, and username modifications — by rewarding participants directly.

Atlas3 is the most recently launched product, described by the company as a central hub for NFT activity. It addresses project discovery, curated giveaways, real-time notifications, and market-level insights. Atlas3 launched following the Ascension event, with the team reporting ongoing feature rollouts including presale management and project rankings.

Team

Blocksmith Labs was co-founded by two pseudonymous partners, Cryptonent and Harmy, who serve as co-CEOs. Cryptonent was previously lead developer at DeGods, one of the most recognized Solana NFT collections of the 2021-2022 era. Harmy created Solfolio, a Solana portfolio tracking tool. The team also includes Gee2Kay as COO and Wozgun as CTO. The collection art was produced by an artist operating under the handle The NootGod.

The company is incorporated in Singapore and governs the NFT license agreement under Singapore law, with SIAC arbitration in English. Under the license terms, holders receive a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use and create derivative works for personal, non-commercial purposes. Commercial use of Blocksmith Labs trademarks requires written permission from the company.

Current Collection Status

As of mid-2026, the Smyths collection comprises 4,444 NFTs held by approximately 1,751 unique wallets, representing roughly 39% unique ownership. The floor price on secondary markets sits near 0.97 SOL (approximately $72 at prevailing prices), with a total collection market cap around 4,300 SOL (approximately $320,000). Trading volume remains modest, with one to two secondary sales per day in recent periods.

The @SmythsNFT account on X has not posted publicly within at least the past 72 hours at the time of writing, and the smyths.io landing page loads with minimal content beyond a brief atmospheric phrase and navigation elements. Active development communications have migrated to the Blocksmith Labs brand at blocksmithlabs.io.

The Blocksmith Labs roadmap describes plans for multi-chain expansion, machine learning and AI integration, team growth, and expanded community events, though no public timeline or specific milestones accompany these items.
