JitoSOL is a liquid staking token representing staked SOL on Jito. It is used to earn a combination of staking rewards and MEV rewards while maintaining liquidity for use in DeFi applications. Unlike traditional liquid staking tokens, JitoSOL holders receive additional MEV rewards captured through an auction system that bundles transactions, allowing stakers to earn enhanced yields beyond standard staking returns.
