Meegos

Meegos is a 10,000-piece profile picture NFT collection built on Solana by Blocksmith Labs (BSL), launched on August 24, 2023. Designed for broad consumer appeal, Meegos represents Blocksmith Labs' second major NFT collection following Smyths, a 4,444-piece Scandinavian-inspired series that established BSL's reputation as a builder in the Solana ecosystem. Where Smyths targeted a niche aesthetic, Meegos was conceived from the start to reach a wider audience — characters that blend mischievousness with visual personality rather than leaning into any single stylistic niche.

Artistic Foundation

The collection features 10,000 handcrafted PFP characters with diverse traits, expressions, and color palettes. Blocksmith Labs collaborated with Elysium Arts on brand development, ensuring the visual identity would hold up across real-world applications beyond the blockchain context. Among the 10,000 pieces, 25 rare 1:1 artworks were created by prominent Solana artists: SCUM, Tainaker, benbauchau, and None. Additional contributions came from artist Gaile and other collaborators, giving the broader collection artistic depth beyond algorithmic generation alone.

Launch and Market Performance

Meegos sold out within hours of its August 2023 mint. Within a day of launch, the collection rose to the top of Solana NFT marketplace rankings, achieving a floor price of approximately 6.763 SOL. Total trading volume in the post-launch period reached 20,000 SOL. The launch benefited from influencer endorsements — including coverage from SOL Big Brain and Sting Tensor — and Tensor marketplace offered 1.25x TNSR points for bidding and listing activity on the collection, adding an additional incentive layer for early participants.

As of mid-2026, the floor price sits at approximately 0.04 SOL, reflecting the broader contraction in the Solana NFT market that followed the 2023 bull run. The collection is held by roughly 2,613 wallets and trades on Tensor, Magic Eden, Hadeswap, and Solanart.

The Meecosystem

Blocksmith Labs positioned Meegos NFTs not as standalone collectibles but as membership keys to an interconnected suite of platforms collectively called the Meecosystem. Each component is designed to serve a different segment of the holder community.

Meegos Mayhem is the flagship game: a multiplayer obstacle racing experience where players control their Meego characters through fast-paced, toy-themed arenas. Maps feature physics-based hazards including black holes, snowballs, and other randomized obstacles. Layouts change dynamically between rounds. Players can customize their characters with outfits and accessories, and the game supports integrated chat and leaderboards. Meegos Mayhem is available across iOS, Android, and web, making it accessible without specialized hardware.

MeeArcade is the staking layer of the ecosystem. Holders stake Meegos NFTs to unlock games, earn rewards and prizes, and craft compressed NFTs (cNFTs). It functions as the economic engine linking NFT ownership to ongoing participation incentives.

MeeStream is a content-sharing hub for the holder community. Creators can showcase artwork, stories, and other content, with tipping and collaboration features built in. The intent is to give the community's creative members a distribution channel within the Meecosystem rather than relying entirely on external social platforms.

The Meegos Welcome App serves as the social backbone of the community — a hub connecting holders through detailed profiles that surface social media handles, interests, location, and wallet holdings.

Planned experimental initiatives include [Basil], a social project integrating Meegos with cryptocurrency airdrop and claim mechanics; MeeEvents, targeting real-life community gatherings; MeeSports; and MeeStores. These remain in earlier stages relative to the core Meecosystem platforms.

Blocksmith Labs

Meegos exists within a broader builder ecosystem operated by Blocksmith Labs, a web3 B2B SaaS company focused on products across the NFT lifecycle. The founding team includes co-founder and co-CEO Harmy, co-CEO Alex, Chief Operations Officer Gee2kay, and Chief Technology Officer Wozgun.

Beyond its NFT collections, Blocksmith Labs has shipped multiple infrastructure tools that have seen adoption across the Solana ecosystem:
