Super Phoenix DAO

Super Phoenix DAO is a decentralized autonomous organization on Solana built around shared ownership and governance of the Fimbul Ecos Superphoenix Titan Starship, the largest player-owned digital asset in the [[PROJECT:258]] metaverse. Founded by Craig Mahoney through ECOS SP Holdings, LC, the project enables token holders to participate in ownership of a single colossal in-game ship, with decisions made collectively through on-chain voting. The Fimbul Ecos Superphoenix is a Titan-class starship measuring 5,000 meters long, 2,200 meters wide, and 1,100 meters tall, accommodating 341 player stations across 22 distinct crew roles. The DAO plans to transform the ship into a virtual entertainment hub featuring resort hospitality spaces, theaters, concert halls, museums, aquariums, sports arenas, racing tracks, VIP gaming areas, and dining spaces. Its cross-faction design targets players from all three Star Atlas factions, positioning it as ecosystem infrastructure rather than a single-faction guild. Access and fractional ownership are structured through the Super Phoenix Data Cube Limited NFT Collection. These NFTs grant governance rights over ship management, exclusive access to Titan Ship amenities, and priority rewards. Multiple membership tiers offer varying degrees of access and privilege. The CORE Data Cube collection minted on June 26, 2024, with a whitelist presale window, seeding the DAO treasury and distributing community ownership ahead of full gameplay deployment within Star Atlas. The DAO utility token, EMBER, is planned for issuance following the NFT membership sale, to be distributed to Data Cube holders in order to support on-chain governance, reward participation, and power the DAO internal economy. Full tokenomics had not been published in finalized form at the time of writing. Super Phoenix DAO established a dedicated esports arm, Super Phoenix Sports, focused on competitive Star Atlas gameplay and community events. The branch organized a racing tournament live-streamed from Abu Dhabi during the Solana Breakpoint conference. By 2026, Super Phoenix Sports had organized the largest Star Atlas tournament to date and introduced a skill-based betting application. In May 2026, the DAO submitted PIP-32 requesting 13,576,392 ATLAS tokens to fund the Star Atlas Triad Tournament in June 2026, the first unified competitive event across all three UE5 game modes: Star Racer, Star Shooter, and Star Fighter. The requested budget covered production costs and early voting showed approximately 62% support. The DAO operates under a bylaws-based governance model with elected leadership and on-chain voting. The legal entity ECOS SP Holdings, LC, manages the Titan Ship on behalf of DAO participants. Craig Mahoney, the founder, has over 15 years of experience in commercial finance managing portfolios exceeding $10 billion, with focus on AI, blockchain, and traditional finance. The engineering team includes James Pacheco, known for formal Solana educational content; Christian Krueger, a Solana engineer with three years of on-chain development; and Mohammed, a software engineer with over four years of experience. Arktype serves as Lead Artist for illustration, branding, animation, and 3D design. Super Phoenix DAO is built natively on Solana, using the network for NFT operations, governance voting, and token distribution. Star Atlas game assets use Metaplex standards on Solana, and the Superphoenix Titan Ship is a Solana-native NFT managed by the DAO treasury.
