Jumper

Jumper is the consumer-facing exchange interface built by LI.FI, the Berlin-based cross-chain infrastructure company founded in 2021. Launched in March 2023, Jumper aggregates bridges and DEXs across 62 blockchains, routes users to the best available rate for cross-chain swaps and transfers, and has processed over $1.2 billion in monthly volume as of mid-2026 — all with no platform fee.

What Problem It Solves

Moving assets between blockchains requires choosing between dozens of bridges and DEX aggregators, each with different security models, fee structures, supported chains, and execution times. Users must understand which bridge is safe for which asset, compare rates manually, and often visit multiple interfaces for a single cross-chain operation. Jumper consolidates that entire decision into a single interface that does the comparison automatically.

How It Works

Jumper sits on top of LI.FI's routing infrastructure. When a user requests a swap or bridge, LI.FI queries all integrated bridges and DEXs simultaneously, constructs execution paths, and returns routes ranked by expected output, speed, and gas cost. The user selects a route; Jumper executes it — handling bridge calls, token approvals, and cross-chain messaging — in a single transaction or a coordinated sequence.

The protocol integrates 23 bridges and 33 DEXs. Bridges include Allbridge, Celer, Connext, Across, Hop, Stargate, and others. DEXs include Uniswap, Curve, Balancer, and Solana-specific protocols.

Solana Support

Jumper supports Solana for both same-chain swaps and cross-chain transfers:

  • Same-chain swaps route through Jupiter and DFlow, Solana's primary DEX aggregators.
  • Cross-chain bridging to and from Solana uses Allbridge, Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP), and Mayan Finance.
  • Phantom wallet is supported for Solana signing.

Security History

In July 2024, Jumper/LI.FI suffered an $11.6 million exploit caused by a call injection vulnerability in LI.FI's smart contracts, which allowed attackers to drain assets from wallets that had granted infinite approvals to LI.FI contracts. The team paused all transactions within 30 minutes, identified affected wallets, and fully compensated all affected users. The vulnerability was patched. Third-party audits by Spearbit, Code4rena, and Quantstamp cover the LI.FI protocol stack.

Product Expansion

In January 2026, Jumper launched two new products:

  • Jumper Earn: A yield aggregation layer showing lending rates, liquid staking yields, and farming opportunities across chains, with one-click position entry.
  • Jumper Portfolio: A cross-chain position management dashboard tracking holdings and DeFi positions across all connected wallets and chains.

Loyalty System

Jumper uses an XP-based loyalty system. Users accumulate experience points by completing swaps, bridging to new chains for the first time, and participating in campaigns. XP tiers unlock access to exclusive features and promotions. There is no native token; Jumper has not announced any plans to launch one.

Team and Backing

LI.FI was founded in Berlin in 2021. The company raised $52 million in total funding. The engineering team has published academic-style research on cross-chain security and bridge aggregation design. Jumper is the consumer product; LI.FI's API and SDK are the B2B offering used by other DeFi applications and wallets to add cross-chain functionality.

Solana Ecosystem Fit

Jumper provides Solana users access to cross-chain liquidity from 61 other blockchains in a single interface. For Solana-native users who want to move USDC from Ethereum, bridge SOL proceeds from other chains, or access yield opportunities on EVM chains, Jumper is one of the more mature cross-chain interfaces available with native Solana wallet support and multiple bridge integrations.
