DRiP Haus

DRiP Haus (drip.haus) is a Solana app where creators give away digital collectibles to people who subscribe to their channels. It has nothing to do with the fitness studios, barbershops and stores that share the Drip Haus name. You follow artists, musicians and comic makers, and their drops arrive as NFTs that you own in your wallet. Most drops are free. Creators earn when fans tip them with an in-app currency called Droplets. DRiP launched in 2022, has no token of its own, and has been owned by the Solana exchange Jupiter JUP$0.311+3.9% since April 2025. It now describes itself as "the all-in-one platform for creators and communities".

How does DRiP Haus work? Droplets, XP and free drops

DRiP Haus works like a subscription feed. You subscribe to creator channels, each channel publishes drops on a schedule, and you collect the ones you want. Collecting is free for most drops, and each collected item is minted on Solana as an NFT in your wallet.

Droplets are the app's currency. You can buy them or earn them, and you spend them to tip creators or to mint particular collectibles. A February 2025 walkthrough by NFT News Today says collectors who reach bronze rank can claim free Droplets every six hours. Check the app for the current rules, because DRiP has changed them before.

Rank comes from XP, the points you earn by using the app. XP resets each month, while badges for the ranks you reached stay on your profile. Tipping is called Thanking, and it sends Droplets to the creator. Solana's own profile of DRiP says creators "earn directly for likes and subscribers".

DRiP used to send collectibles to subscribers automatically. After heavy congestion on Solana in April 2024, it switched to a manual claim, The Block reported in June 2024. You now have to open the app and collect, so a subscription alone will not fill your wallet.

DRiP collectibles: compressed NFTs, rarity and storage

DRiP collectibles are compressed NFTs on Solana. Compression is a cheap way to mint NFTs in bulk. The chain stores one small fingerprint for a whole batch, so each item no longer needs its own account. That is why DRiP can give things away.

The saving is large. Minting a million collectibles once cost "several hundred thousand dollars". It now costs "several hundred dollars", Solana's profile of DRiP says. Founder Vibhu Norby put it this way in the same piece: "Without Solana compression, DRiP isn't possible."

Drops come in three rarity tiers: common, rare and legendary, per Phantom's guide to DRiP. You will find art, music, comics, video and small games. The files are kept on Arweave, a network built to store data for good, The Block reported. Payments run on Solana.

How to sell DRiP Haus NFTs, and what they are worth

You can sell DRiP collectibles on Solana NFT marketplaces. They are ordinary NFTs once they are in your wallet, and Tensor TNSR$0.033+4.7% runs a dedicated market for DRiP items, NFT News Today notes. List the item, set a price, and wait for a buyer.

Expect little money from it. Free drops go out to very large numbers of wallets, so there are usually far more holders than buyers. An item that thousands of people got for free rarely fetches much. Rarer tiers from popular creators have the best chance of finding a buyer. Treat DRiP as a way to collect and support creators, since resale income is unlikely.

DRiP Haus app, supported wallets and how to start

To start on DRiP Haus you visit drip.haus, connect a Solana wallet, and subscribe to channels. Supported wallets include Phantom CASH$0.9990.0%, Solflare and Backpack, with TipLink as an option that signs you in through a Google account, per NFT News Today.

DRiP for creators: channels, Thanks, Perks, Store and Auctions

Creators on DRiP Haus get a channel page where fans subscribe. Each channel has tabs for Collectibles, a Store and Auctions, as DRiP's own Showcase channel shows. Creators can also offer Perks. These are rewards for their biggest fans, such as bonus content or early access.

Music came through a purchase. DRiP bought Vault Music, a Solana app for limited-edition songs, in a deal announced on 1 July 2024. Vault's drops and users moved across to DRiP.

DRiP had 550 active creators when it raised its seed round in September 2024, according to The Block. By then it had sent out 170 million collectibles. Those figures are old, and the widgets on this page show current activity.

Who DRiP Haus is for

DRiP Haus suits people who want to try Solana NFTs without spending money, and fans who want to back independent creators with small tips. Collecting a free drop costs you a few minutes and nothing else.

It suits creators who already have, or want to build, an audience inside the Solana community and who can publish regularly. A creator who needs sales revenue from each piece will find the free-drop model a poor fit.

It does not suit anyone looking for an investment. There is no DRiP token to earn, and most collectibles have little resale value.

Is DRiP Haus legit and safe? Risks to know

DRiP Haus is a real, venture-backed product owned by Jupiter, and collecting free drops puts no money at risk. The risks sit around the edges.

Droplets are the main one. They are an in-app balance held by DRiP, so money you spend on them depends on the company continuing to run the app. Buy only what you plan to tip.

Activity is another. When Solana Compass checked on 10 October 2026, drip.haus was live, but the official X account had not published a new post of its own since 24 April 2026 (it was still replying to users in June), and the Showcase store listed nothing for sale. DRiP has made no announcement of a wind-down that we could find. A quiet channel is still worth knowing about before you buy Droplets or build a channel there.

DRiP is a company-run app. Compass lists no DRiP-owned on-chain programs, and we found no published security audit of the app. Your collectibles sit in your own wallet, but the feed, the XP system and the Droplets ledger are run by DRiP.

Finally, wallets that hold DRiP items attract spam NFTs and fake "claim" links. Only connect your wallet at drip.haus, and never type your seed phrase anywhere.

DRiP Haus token and airdrop: is there one?

DRiP Haus has no token, and it has said it has no plans to issue one, according to NFT News Today. The official FAQ still carries a "Wen token?" entry. Searches for a "DRiP Haus airdrop" mostly refer to the free collectibles themselves, or to older guides that guessed a token was coming. Tokens that use the DRiP name in wallets and on trading apps should not be assumed to come from the company.

Jupiter's acquisition of DRiP Haus

Jupiter bought DRiP Haus in an all-cash deal announced on 2 April 2025, CoinDesk reported. The price was not disclosed. DRiP had raised $11.5 million from venture investors, and one unnamed source put the deal at about twice that.

Half of DRiP's eight-person team stayed on the collectibles app, and the other half moved to build NFT features for Jupiter. Vibhu Norby took a strategic role focused on NFTs in Jupiter's mobile app. The DRiP brand stayed separate, with a visual refresh planned to bring it closer to Jupiter's.

DRiP Haus alternatives

The closest alternatives depend on what you want. If you want to buy and trade specific NFT collections, marketplaces such as Tensor and Magic Eden ME$0.063+2.2% are built for that, and you pay market prices. DRiP gives you a steady stream of free work from creators you choose, with little say over what each item will be worth.

DRiP Haus team, funding and history

DRiP was co-founded by Vibhu Norby and launched in 2022. It grew out of a short-lived Solana retail store, CoinDesk reported. Placeholder led its first funding round. DRiP then raised an $8 million seed round in September 2024, per The Block. NFX, Coinbase Ventures and Progression led that round.
