Solana Reclaims #1 Spot in Daily Network Revenue Among All Blockchains
Solana SOL$101.23+4.1% topped every blockchain in daily network revenue on July 18, according to DeFiLlama data reported by SolanaFloor, the first time Solana has held that position in nearly five months. The ranking reflects fee generation across the network's full protocol layer, from on-chain trading and lending to MEV capture and wallet routing.
What's Generating Solana's Fees
Pump.fun leads the fee leaderboard in DeFiLlama's current Solana breakdown at $2.04 million in 24-hour fees, reflecting sustained bonding-curve and meme coin trading volume. Solana's base-layer transaction fees contributed $568,000. Axiom placed third at $365,000 in fees from its trading terminal, followed by Meteora MET$0.199+5.6% at $258,000 across its concentrated liquidity pools, and Jupiter JUP$0.228+9.8% at $172,000 spanning its aggregator, perpetuals platform, and lending market.
Jito JTO$0.427+1.6% generated $89,000 through MEV tips and liquid staking, while Raydium RAY$0.824+4.5% added $80,000 across its AMM pools. Wallet integrations, Telegram-based trading bots, oracle networks, and gamified protocols fill out the protocol mix.
DeFiLlama's most recent tracking shows Solana's ecosystem generating $5.35 million in total protocol fees paid over a 24-hour window, with application revenue reaching $2.24 million and the chain's total economic value (base fees plus MEV tips to validators) at $659,000.
Solana Compass network fee analytics record the same July 18 elevation in first-party on-chain data. Protocol fees (base fees plus priority fees) reached 7,154 SOL on July 18, 35% above the prior four-day average of 5,308 SOL per day. Priority fees drove the spike, rising from roughly 4,500 SOL per day on the preceding four days to 6,490 SOL on the 18th.
Daily network fees jumped 35% on July 18 to 7,154 SOL, the highest point in the six-day window, as elevated trading activity drove priority fees sharply higher.
View on Solana Compass โNetwork Activity Behind the Revenue
Solana's network processed 72.6 million transactions over the same 24-hour window, with 1.72 million active addresses, per DeFiLlama. DEX volume tracked at $1.27 billion. The stablecoin market cap on Solana sits at $15.16 billion, with USDC holding 46.76% of that total.
The breadth of the fee-generating protocol list reflects a wider base of application types than earlier Solana revenue peaks, which tended to concentrate around single categories. The current breakdown draws from trading infrastructure, lending markets, MEV, liquid staking, and wallet-layer routing.
Five Months Since the Last #1
SolanaFloor's "nearly five months" framing places the previous top-revenue day at roughly mid-February 2026. During that interval, competing chains held the ranking. On July 18, cumulative protocol fees from Solana's trading platforms, DEX liquidity pools, MEV infrastructure, and lending markets surpassed those of every other blockchain tracked by DeFiLlama.
