Aurory

Aurory is a game studio that makes games about collecting and battling creatures. It began on Solana in 2021 and has two titles. Amiko Legends is a PC game that is still being built, and the studio aims to put it on Steam in Early Access. Amiko Arena is a battle game you can play now through the Epic Games Store. The studio's token is AURY. Players earn it in Amiko Arena and spend it in Aurory's own item market.

The studio is active as of October 2026. A closed test of Amiko Legends ran on Steam earlier in the year, and the team still posts new creatures and updates most weeks.

How Aurory's games and the AURY token fit together

Aurory runs two games, an item market and a token. You play the games on a PC. The creatures and skins you own can be sold on the Aurory market, and trades there are priced in AURY.

A system that Aurory calls SyncSpace joins the games to the blockchain. Aurory explained it in a 2023 press release about Arbitrum. Your items sit in a game account while you play, so the game does not ask you to sign a transaction for each move. You send items in from a crypto wallet to use them. You pull them back out when you want to hold them in your wallet again.

Since July 2023 that wallet can be on Solana or on Arbitrum, a network built on top of Ethereum. The Aurory portal lets you connect either kind.

One thing is not yet clear. The Steam page and website for Amiko Legends do not mention AURY, NFTs or the market. In the sources we could read, Aurory has not said if the Steam game will use the token. The AURY features below are stated for Amiko Arena only.

Amiko Legends on Steam: release date, closed beta and Early Access

Amiko Legends has no set release date, and you cannot play it right now. Aurory says it aims to reach Steam Early Access later in 2026 and a full release in 2027. The closed beta ended on 21 July 2026.

The studio calls the game a "creature collector extraction RPG". You set out on a trip into the wild, charm creatures called Amiko, and fight turn-based battles with your squad. The twist is a rule from the post that announced the game: "only what you extract is yours to keep". Go deeper and the rewards grow. Fail before you get out and you lose them.

The Steam page names Aurory as both maker and publisher. It lists Windows as the only platform. You can add the game to your wishlist, and no price is shown.

Aurory's Steam posts give the dates. The closed beta opened on 16 June 2026. In a thank-you note to testers the team said it was "going back into development". It promised a better start for new players, new story quests, more Amiko and new bosses. The same note said an open beta could come before Early Access. Gamepad support was missing from the beta and is planned.

The name has a past that can muddle a search. Aurory's older Solana game was called Seekers of Tokane. It was renamed Amiko Legends on 31 October 2025, and its creatures went from "Nefties" to "Amikos", PlayToEarn reported. Guides for Seekers of Tokane describe a roguelite on the Epic Games Store. Aurory describes the 2026 Steam game in new terms, so treat those older guides as out of date.

Amiko Arena: PvP squad battles and AURY rewards on Epic Games Store

Amiko Arena is the Aurory game you can play today. You build a squad of three Amiko and fight other players in turn-based battles. The Amiko Arena site sends you to the Epic Games Store to get it.

Each Amiko has one of six elements: Fire, Water, Plant, Earth, Wind and Lightning. Battles are turn-based, so your choice of squad counts for more than quick hands. The game sets daily and weekly PvP challenges with prizes.

Amiko Arena is where the token comes in. Ranked wins earn "Aury Shards", and these turn into AURY in a weekly payout, the game's AURY page says. You earn more if you own an Aurorian, one of the studio's 10,000 avatar NFTs. The boost runs from 10% to 24%, based on a loyalty tier. Eggs, Amiko, skins and Aurorians can all be traded on the Aurory market.

AURY token: supply, staking and where it trades

AURY is Aurory's token. Its supply is capped at 100 million, and most of that is already in holders' hands, CoinMarketCap data shows. AURY lives on Solana and has also been usable on Arbitrum since 2023.

AURY has three stated uses. You earn it from ranked play in Amiko Arena. You spend it on the Aurory market. You can also stake it on Aurory's staking page to earn more AURY over time. Aurory's site does not state the staking rate, so we do not quote one.

To get AURY, Aurory points players to a USDC swap inside its own portal. It also names three Solana exchanges: Jupiter JUP$0.311+3.7%, Raydium RAY$1.90+9.1% and Orca ORCA$1.95+1.9%.

AURY went on sale in October 2021, when 7% of the supply was sold to the public. Games research firm Naavik wrote at the time that buyers put up about $108 million in USDC for that sale. The live price, volume and holder data are in the token widget on this page.

Who Aurory is for

Aurory suits PC players who like creature-collecting and turn-based battles and are happy to follow a game through early releases. It is a weaker fit if you want something finished to play today, or if you want a simple way to earn from a game.

If you want Amiko Legends, you are waiting. The game runs on Windows, the beta is closed, and the next chance to play is an open beta or Early Access that has no date yet. Adding it to your Steam wishlist is the only action open to you.

If you want to play now, Amiko Arena is the option, and it is a competitive PvP game. Rewards depend on ranked wins, so new players should expect to earn little while they learn.

If you hold AURY or an Aurorian from 2021, the token's documented use today is Amiko Arena and the marketplace. Whether Amiko Legends adds to that is an open question until Aurory says so.

Aurory risks: the 2023 exploit, audits and unanswered token questions

Aurory's worst known incident was a hack of its item market in December 2023. The bigger risk today is doubt. The main game is not out, and the studio has not said what part AURY will play in it.

On 17 December 2023 an attacker took about 600,000 AURY, worth close to $830,000 at the time, Decrypt reported. The flaw was in the part of the market that runs on Aurory's own servers. The attacker sent several buy orders at once. The buyer was charged once, but the seller was paid more than once. Aurory said the tokens came from a team wallet and that no player funds or NFTs were taken. It shut SyncSpace down while it fixed the bug.

Security firm OtterSec had audited Aurory before the hack. OtterSec's founder told Decrypt that this kind of attack was outside the scope of that audit. The point for players is about who holds your items. Anything you move into SyncSpace is held by Aurory's own system until you pull it out. Its safety rests on Aurory's servers as well as on the audited code on the blockchain.

Three more limits are worth knowing:

• Aurory's docs site, docs.aurory.io, did not load when we checked on 7 October 2026. That site held the whitepaper and the token rules, so we could not check them for this page.
• AURY traded thinly in early October 2026. In a thin market, a large trade can move the price. Check the live figures before you trade.
• Release dates are goals. Aurory's own posts say the game's features and content may change before release.

Aurory team and history: from the 2021 Aurorians mint to Amiko

Aurory began in 2021 with the sale of 10,000 avatar NFTs called Aurorians. The AURY sale came that October. The studio now calls itself a "game studio creating worlds with character". A 2023 press release placed it in Montreal.

Naavik's 2021 report named Yann Penno as co-founder and art director. Aurory's team page shows about 40 people. Many of the artists and engineers on it list past work at Ubisoft.
