Jupiter JUP$0.240-8.5% launched Spot V2 on July 29, 2026, combining its swap aggregator and trading terminal into a single page on Solana. The platform, which the team describes as routing more than half of all DEX volume on the network, now puts market intelligence directly alongside the swap execution interface rather than splitting them across separate products.
Swap and Terminal, One Page
Spot V2 merges two previously separate products: Jupiter's core swap aggregator and its Terminal trading interface. The unification means a trader can research and act without switching between tools.
Jupiter's launch announcement details four intelligence features now sitting next to the swap button in the unified interface: live market-moving news curated by human editors, a heatmap displaying sector-level performance across the Solana token market, a feed of X posts judged to be influencing price action, and tracking for whale wallets and top-performing trader addresses. Jupiter introduced its Pulse news dashboard and Smart Money wallet-tracking dashboard as standalone products in June 2026; Spot V2 folds both into the main trading page.
Ultra Mode, Smart Orders, and Token Discovery in Spot V2
Crypto Briefing reported additional capabilities available within Spot V2: an Ultra Mode that automatically optimizes trade routing for roughly 10x lower total trading costs including gas and slippage; smart trigger orders that execute when specified on-chain conditions are met; real-time slippage estimation before a transaction confirms; and an organic token scoring system that surfaces tokens based on authentic on-chain activity rather than market cap.
Jupiter Aggregator Activity on Solana
The Spot V2 launch builds on an aggregation business that already dominates Solana's spot trading market. Solana Compass analytics tracked $2.9 billion in spot DEX swap volume through Jupiter's aggregator program in the seven days to July 28, across 12.5 million swaps. On a typical day the aggregator draws roughly 165,000 unique wallets.
That scale gives Spot V2 a built-in user base for its new terminal features from day one. Solana's DEX sector posted its fourth consecutive week ahead of Bybit, Coinbase, and Kraken in spot volume, a stretch Jupiter's routing sits at the center of.
JUP Token
JUP climbed approximately 8% in the hours following the Spot V2 announcement, according to Crypto Briefing. Jupiter launched Spot V2 with a phased rollout and has indicated additional features will be deployed over the coming weeks.
