Jupiter Opens Community Preview of Spot Redesign at edge.jup.ag/spot
Jupiter Exchange opened a community preview of its Spot redesign at edge.jup.ag/spot, asking users for feedback before the team locks in any design decisions.
Jupiter JUP$0.193-4.1% opened an early community preview of a redesigned Spot trading interface on July 7, inviting users to explore the build in progress at edge.jup.ag/spot and submit feedback before any design decisions are finalized.
The announcement from the official @JupiterExchange account framed the move as a formal input stage, not a quiet beta. "We're not locking anything in until you've had your say," the announcement thread stated, alongside a link to a feedback form for user responses.
The Tab-Switching Problem Spot Is Designed to Solve
Jupiter's stated reason for the redesign is workflow fragmentation. "Finding a trade means one tab for the news, another for the charts, a wallet tracker for the smart money — then back to Jupiter just to swap," the announcement thread explained.
The planned solution brings those pieces onto a single page. Jupiter described the target state as "Swap and Terminal, unified. Pulse: live market activity and news as it happens. SmartMoney: track what sophisticated wallets are doing."
Each element covers a task traders currently route elsewhere: Swap for execution, Pulse for live market news and context, SmartMoney for wallet intelligence. Together they describe an interface that tries to close the research-to-execution loop without requiring a browser full of open tabs.
What the Edge Preview Shows Right Now
The preview at edge.jup.ag/spot is a working build, not a mockup. Several of the announced features are already rendering.
Market Pulse (labeled Beta) runs a real-time curated news feed powered by VRFD, Jupiter's Solana token verification service. On the day of the announcement, the feed was surfacing a combination of macro data (US ISM Services PMI, German industrial orders) and crypto-specific developments alongside token price movement. VRFD draws on 35,000 contributors and applies a human-review layer before content enters the feed.
Below Pulse, the interface presents tokens in three curated lists: Cooking (trending tokens), Stocks (tokenized equities, with SPCX, MU, and SNDK visible on the day of the preview), and SmartMoney Buys (tokens being accumulated by sophisticated wallets). A Market Dominance panel surfaces real-time sector performance across Stocks, DeFi, Memes, and Infrastructure categories, with a narrative summary of price action that updates as conditions shift.
The swap execution widget occupies a central position, connected to Jupiter's full routing stack. The core aggregator scans Solana liquidity sources in real time, splitting transactions across routes when needed to optimize execution.
Jupiter's 30-Day Volume and 140,000 Daily Wallets Show Spot's Reach
The depth of the redesign matters in proportion to who uses Spot. According to data from DeFiLlama, Jupiter processed $22.45 billion in DEX aggregator volume over the past 30 days, with $596 million on the day of the announcement alone. Cumulative aggregator volume across Jupiter's history has crossed $1.25 trillion.
Total value locked across Jupiter's product stack (Spot, Perps, Lend, and JupSOL) stands at $1.643 billion, per DeFiLlama. The platform's JUP (JUP) token carries a fully diluted valuation near $1.63 billion, with the protocol generating $407 million in annualized fees across its suite.
Solana Compass program analytics puts daily active wallets on the Jupiter aggregator program between 130,000 and 149,000 on each of the four main trading days in the first week of July.
Jupiter's aggregator program drew 130,000–149,000 daily active wallets on peak trading days in the first week of July, per Solana Compass data.
View on Solana Compass →The Spot interface is where most of that volume begins. Redesigning it touches more Solana wallets than any other single surface Jupiter controls.
Jupiter Runs a Feedback Phase Before Locking In the Spot Design
What makes the process worth noting is the sequencing. The typical product-development cycle ships changes and collects feedback afterward. Jupiter is running the feedback phase before the build.
"Your feedback decides what we build," the announcement thread stated. "This is the only window before we build for real. Whatever ships, we made it together."
The request was specific: try the preview, then report what you would want, what is missing, and what you would not want to lose. The feedback form linked in the thread is the intended channel.
That positions edge.jup.ag/spot not as a soft launch but as a specification process with users as participants. What currently exists at that URL will shape what eventually replaces it on the main app.
The Spot redesign extends a broader period of interface development at Jupiter. The team added trailing stop loss to limit orders in early July, a feature that tracks market highs and adjusts trigger prices automatically, one of several order-type improvements shipped through the summer.
Jupiter has not published a timeline for when the Spot redesign moves from preview to production.
