DoubleZero's Fiber Network Carries Kalshi L1 and L2 Feeds for US Open Prediction Markets
DoubleZero's DZ Edge × Kalshi delivers L1/L2 Kalshi order book feeds over dedicated fiber, timed as Kalshi wins exclusive US Open prediction-market rights.
When the 2026 US Open main draw began on Sunday, Kalshi had done something no prediction-market platform had managed with a Grand Slam before: secured exclusive rights to the tournament from the United States Tennis Association. No competing platform can advertise at the venue or across ESPN broadcasts. For automated traders building strategies around those markets, DoubleZero 2Z$0.053-2.6% already had an answer: its institutional fiber feed for Kalshi order books had been live since August 12.
"The fastest path for Kalshi market data from the US Open is through DoubleZero," the company wrote on Sunday, quoting Ben Horney's Front Office Sports scoop on the USTA deal.
Kalshi's US Open Exclusivity
The USTA partnership was not part of Kalshi's original 2026 plan. According to Front Office Sports, the association had not formally approved prediction markets as a partnership category before this deal. New USTA CEO Craig Tiley, who joined from Tennis Australia, pushed the deal through in time for the main draw. The exclusivity clause prevents other prediction-market platforms from advertising at Flushing Meadows or on television, including ESPN. Approximately $1.5 million had been wagered on the women's singles winner as of Sunday afternoon, with Aryna Sabalenka priced as the 23% favorite.
The deal gives Kalshi a concentrated position in US Open-tied prediction-market activity and raises the value of any infrastructure advantage in accessing Kalshi's live order books at speed.
DZ Edge × Kalshi: L1 and L2 Order Book Tiers
The DZ Edge × Kalshi product offers two tiers. The full-depth tier provides Level 2 data (every resting price across both sides) for Kalshi's sports markets and crypto perpetual futures contracts. Level 1 subscribers get best bid, best ask, and every trade, without the full book depth. Both tiers cover sports and crypto perps markets and stay active until each market settles.
Both feeds normalize Kalshi's Yes/No contract structure into a single consistent order book per market. Kalshi quotes both a Yes and No side for every contract; the feed merges them so subscribers see one unified view without reconciling two sides. New markets auto-populate in the feed as Kalshi lists them, so US Open-tied event categories appear automatically.
According to the launch press release, Kalshi is waiving its publisher revenue share for the first year, reducing entry costs for early subscribers. Kalshi is the first prediction market to distribute its real-time order book data over DoubleZero Edge — the second venue on the platform after Solana.
Multicast Over Dedicated Fiber Removes Rate-Limit Pressure
Delivery uses multicast over DoubleZero's dedicated global fiber network. The publisher emits data once; the network replicates it simultaneously to every subscriber. There is no per-stream server fan-out and no per-subscriber bandwidth cost.
This matters because the feed bypasses Kalshi's shared public API rate-limit budget. API tokens consumed by data reads are not available for order execution; the fiber feed separates those concerns. Snapshots cycle continuously in the feed, so a subscriber who joins late or drops a packet can rebuild full book state from the feed itself without a separate snapshot channel.
Andy Ross, Kalshi's head of institutional, said in the same press release: "Better markets are built on better connectivity. Top-tier firms are looking for institutional-grade infrastructure everywhere they trade."
DoubleZero's Infrastructure Expansion Into Event-Driven Markets
DoubleZero's main product to this point has been Solana shreds delivery: block data streamed over dedicated fiber to validators and market participants who need the earliest possible view of on-chain activity. DZ Edge × Kalshi is the platform's first expansion into non-blockchain financial market data. The company describes itself as "a protocol that enables a global fiber network for high-performance data distribution. Powered by independent fiber contributors and coordinated onchain."
The two product lines can be combined: subscribers can pull both Kalshi feeds and Solana shreds through a single connection, which means a trading desk that already uses DoubleZero for Solana block data can add Kalshi order books without a separate infrastructure arrangement.
The US Open deal is not the first time DoubleZero has moved toward broader market adoption. Earlier this month the company ran the Green Candle Cup, a $50,000 no-fee trading competition designed to attract active traders to its infrastructure.
How to Access DZ Edge × Kalshi Order Book Feeds
Access runs through doublezero.xyz/dz-edge-kalshi. Subscribers request access, receive credentials once provisioned, and go live in roughly 30 seconds once connected. No cross-connects or dedicated hardware are required. Documentation is available at docs.malbeclabs.com. A separate form handles requests for specific Kalshi event categories not yet in the feed.
