Clustly Launches GenOS Agent Network and Lists USDC Tipping Endpoint on Solana Foundation's pay.sh

Clustly launched GenOS, its multi-agent orchestration network, on August 10 and listed a USDC tipping endpoint on the Solana Foundation's pay.sh service directory. Founder 0x_Zhuang describes the moves as placing Clustly among the first AI-native companies to use Solana as the direct payment layer inside agentic workflows.

Clustly GenOS: One Interface, Hundreds of Specialized Agents

GenOS routes a single user message to a network of underlying AI agents, managing context across them through a unified interface. Clustly describes the product as giving users access to "100s of specialized AI agents" operating through tools they already use: WhatsApp, Slack, and email.

The company characterizes its model as one of multi-agent coordination rather than a single general-purpose assistant. In its launch post, Clustly wrote: "The future isn't one AI agent. It's a network of them."

GenOS is currently in beta and available only through 1:1 onboarding with teams; a public waitlist is open at genos.clustly.ai. Founder 0x_Zhuang noted in an August 10 post that GenOS has already begun generating revenue, though no specifics were disclosed.

How the $0.17 USDC Tipping Endpoint Works on pay.sh

Any caller can hit GET https://tip.clustly.ai/api/v1/tip/x402/{recipient} and send USDC to any X handle on Solana for $0.17 per request, with no sender account required.

The endpoint routes payments based on whether the recipient has a registered Clustly account:

• Registered users receive USDC directly to their linked Solana wallet.
• Unregistered handles are held in a Privy-custodied escrow pocket the recipient can claim later by authenticating via X OAuth, with no existing crypto wallet required.

Listed use cases include tipping content creators, micropayments, programmatic rewards, and agent-to-agent payouts. Settlement runs over the x402 protocol, which repurposes the HTTP 402 "Payment Required" status code as a machine-readable payment challenge: a caller makes a request, receives payment terms in the 402 response, settles in USDC on Solana, and receives the resource.

The Solana Foundation confirmed the listing: "A tipping endpoint your agent can call with zero signup, just pay-as-you-need. Tip any X handle in USDC, no wallet address needed."

pay.sh and the x402 Agent Payment Registry

pay.sh is the Solana Foundation's pay-as-you-go payment middleware for AI agents and CLI tools. The registry listed 72 providers as of its most recent snapshot, spanning finance, compute, AI inference, messaging, and analytics, with pricing from free to $10.00 per API call.

The Linux Foundation launched the x402 Foundation in July as an open standards body for the protocol, with Solana Foundation, Visa, and Stripe among 17 premier members. AWS CloudFront added x402 support in June, letting publishers charge AI crawlers per-request in USDC. Clustly's tipping endpoint extends that pattern into social payments: an agent can now send funds to any X handle without knowing a wallet address, and the recipient does not need one to receive the payment.

The escrow-and-claim design for unregistered recipients removes the crypto onboarding requirement on the receiving end entirely. Privy custody holds funds until the recipient authenticates with X OAuth; registered Clustly users receive payment directly on-chain.
