Vodra

Vodra is a livestream advertising network built on Solana that connects content creators, brands, and agencies through performance-based in-stream ad placements. The platform embeds ads directly into a creator's video feed before it reaches the streaming platform, making them immune to browser-based ad-blockers and persistent in clips and highlights shared to YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram. By mid-2025 the network had onboarded over 4,500 streamers, delivered 85 million total impressions, and logged 10 million viewhours across streams.

How It Works

Creators install a browser source plugin into their broadcast software — OBS Studio, Streamlabs, Restream, or XSplit — that Vodra uses to render ads directly into the video layer. Because the injection happens at the broadcast layer rather than inside the streaming platform's player, ad-blockers operating at the browser level cannot suppress the placement. Ads also persist in VODs, clips, and cross-platform reposts, extending campaign reach beyond the original live event.

Brands set performance-based campaigns specifying CPM, CPC, or action-based targets. Vodra's algorithm allocates impressions in real-time, optimizing by region, content type, and audience behavior. The platform provides brands with real-time reporting and brand-safe inventory across thousands of active streams. Creators require no minimum follower count to participate and can begin earning as soon as they go live.

Alongside in-stream ad windows, Vodra offers clickable cards embedded in clips and replays, and chat links that similarly bypass ad-blocker restrictions. A self-serve ads platform launched in Q4 2024 lets brands build and manage campaigns directly without going through a sales team.

For Creators: Passive revenue with no partnership thresholds, immediate payout eligibility, non-intrusive ad placements they control for size and position, an XP-based rank system that rewards consistent streaming and ecosystem participation, and a redesigned Hub dashboard with live campaign data and progress tracking.

For Brands: Performance-based pricing with no upfront creator negotiations, real-time campaign optimization, access to a curated inventory spanning Twitch and Kick, and transparent CPM/CPC/CTR metrics. Notable brand clients include Solflare, Shaga, 0x100x, Novig, Liquid, WishWin, Forkast, Vale, and Fomo. Agency partners include SEG, Mazer, and BrandButter.

Somnia Integration: In November 2025 Vodra announced a partnership with Somnia Network, a high-performance Layer 1 blockchain targeted at gaming. Vodra is positioned as the advertising distribution layer for Web3 gaming titles on Somnia, with a creator campaign package launched in December 2025.

Programmatic Ambition: Vodra's primary 2026 roadmap objective is achieving recognition as a programmatic ad format compatible with real-time bidding marketplaces. If accepted, the platform's inventory would be automatically listed across programmatic exchanges and filled by institutional brands without direct sales overhead.

Token: VDR

The VDR token is a Solana SPL token (contract address: 5a6LTLwdMJBY2JDLjw8B1w4JwFRdZszGF9W56ZzrriS1). Vodra originally launched on Ethereum but migrated to Solana in January 2025, citing Ethereum's prohibitive gas fees and 90-second finalization times, which made micro-tipping, instant payouts, and community rewards impractical. Solana's sub-second finality and near-zero fees were identified as prerequisites for the real-time payout model the platform requires.

The migration used a 1:1 swap ratio with a snapshot on January 14, 2025 and a three-month bridging window that closed April 17, 2025.

VDR utility spans four areas:

  • Creator payouts — ad revenue and donation settlements denominated in VDR
  • Campaign purchases — brands use VDR to fund campaigns on the platform
  • Staking — the platform introduced staking with advertised yields of up to 4% monthly, alongside a VDR buyback program
  • Governance — DAO voting rights for platform direction decisions

VDR is tradable on-platform via Jupiter integration, allowing creators to swap earnings without leaving the Vodra Hub. The token is also listed on Gate.com and tracked on CoinMarketCap.

Ecosystem Fit on Solana

Vodra's choice of Solana is operationally motivated rather than speculative. The platform's value proposition depends on instant, low-cost settlements for creator micro-payouts across thousands of concurrent streams. Ethereum's fee structure would have made sub-dollar payouts economically unviable. Migrating to Solana unlocks the Raydium, Meteora, and Jupiter DEX ecosystem for token liquidity, as well as the broader Solana creator and Web3 gaming community — a natural overlap with its streamer user base.

Clients including Solflare signal early alignment with Solana's core infrastructure ecosystem.
