On-chain activity
Supersize
Supersize is a realtime multiplayer onchain action game where users pay an entry fee, collect tokens, and can exit to withdraw their score. It targets fully onchain gameplay with non-custodial mechanics on Solana.
Slimecoin.io
Slimecoin.io is a real-money onchain game on Solana offering non-custodial play with instant withdrawals.
Supersize Game Template
The Supersize Game Template is an open multiplayer onchain game template that lets builders add features and create new game versions.
Supersize
Supersize is a fully on-chain, real-time multiplayer game platform built on Solana, positioning itself as the home of real-money gaming. Taking inspiration from the browser classic Agar.io, it drops players into an open arena where every movement, collision, and wager is settled directly on the Solana public ledger — no intermediary servers, no custodial escrow, and no off-chain reconciliation. The project is one of the first fully on-chain, real-time multiplayer games on Solana, made possible by MagicBlock's infrastructure layer rather than by compromising on decentralisation or fragmenting liquidity onto a separate chain.
Gameplay and Mechanics
The core loop is simple: players control a blob avatar, navigate the arena using a mouse or arrow keys, and grow by consuming tokens and defeating smaller opponents. Size comes at a cost — larger blobs move slower, giving nimbler, smaller players a genuine counterplay advantage. Players can also boost by holding the mouse button for a continuous speed burst, or charge and fire a directional shot using the space bar, both of which consume $SUPER tokens. This real-token drain on aggressive actions creates economic tension within every match.
To enter a game, players pay 100 $SUPER tokens to spawn. Their starting score is 100. As they consume tokens scattered across the map and absorb rivals, their score climbs proportionally. When a player chooses to exit — with a five-second delay that prevents sniping — they receive $SUPER tokens equal to their current score. This means every session is a genuine wager: enter with 100, survive and thrive to walk away with more, or get eaten and absorb the loss.
A faucet mechanic replenishes the map: when players spawn, the game wallet automatically seeds the map with tokens proportional to the player's wallet holdings. This continuous injection sustains the playable token supply in the arena without relying on external liquidity top-ups.
$SUPER Token
$SUPER is the native game token for the original Supersize title. It is implemented using Solana's Token Extensions standard and carries a transfer tax that is automatically routed back into the game's faucet pool, creating a self-sustaining economic loop. Emissions are designed to slow dynamically over time, reducing inflation as the player base matures. The result is a token economy where gameplay activity drives demand and the transfer tax recycled into the faucet replaces the need for protocol-level inflation to keep the map stocked.
Slimecoin.io and the Game Hub
Under the Supersize umbrella sits Slimecoin.io, a dedicated game hub that expands the real-money IO-game format into a multi-title ecosystem. The flagship title is Blob Battle, live on mainnet, where free Slimecoin tokens are scattered across the arena and players grow by consuming them and outmanoeuvring rivals. Season One allocated 30% of the total Slimecoin supply to be distributed directly through gameplay, with coins accumulated in matches available for instant withdrawal to a player's wallet.
Slimecoin.io operates on a non-custodial vault architecture. Players activate a vault that delegates authority to MagicBlock's Ephemeral Rollups. During gameplay, real-time interactions are processed within the rollup environment at low latency. When a session ends, the vault settlement is committed back to Solana mainnet. Players never surrender control of their funds to a centralised intermediary.
A second title, Snake Battle, was announced to follow Blob Battle, with Supersize presenting Slimecoin.io as a living game hub rather than a single-game product.
Recent traction during Solana Mobile's Seeker Summer promotion (July 2026) demonstrated meaningful user growth: 8,661 new users, 150,000 matches played, and $65,000 in cash-game volume across just ten days. Retention metrics reported by the team indicated players were returning beyond the initial badge-claim incentive.
Technical Architecture: MagicBlock BOLT and Ephemeral Rollups
Supersize is built on MagicBlock's BOLT framework, an Entity-Component-System (ECS) architecture implemented on top of Anchor that structures game logic on Solana in a modular and extensible way. BOLT allows game systems — movement, collision, scoring, faucet logic — to be separated into discrete components that can be updated or replaced without requiring a full redeployment of the programme.
The performance challenge for any real-time on-chain game is latency. MagicBlock's Ephemeral Rollups address this by providing a co-located, Solana-compatible execution environment that achieves end-to-end latency of approximately 30 milliseconds. Crucially, the rollup is not a separate chain: all smart contracts and liquidity remain on Solana mainnet. The rollup functions as a temporary, session-specific execution lane that settles back to Solana rather than fragmenting state across a new network. Players retain direct access to SOL, BONK, LSTs, and other Solana-native tokens without any bridging step.
This architecture distinguishes Supersize from gaming projects that migrate to EVM L2s or standalone appchains. The team has emphasised composability — other developers can fork the BOLT components to build their own game variants, and a community-built Supersize: Bonk variant already exists as an illustration of this open-template design.
Founding Story and Team
Lewis Arnsten founded Supersize after winning the Gaming Track at the Colosseum Solana Radar Hackathon. At the time of judging, the project was an MVP running on Devnet; it launched on Solana mainnet around the close of the competition. Arnsten described the original concept as wanting to recreate Agar.io where players could genuinely wager and win money from each other in real time — a use case that required trustless settlement rather than a platform promise.
After the hackathon, Arnsten brought on a co-founder to help scale the project. The team has since engaged with MagicBlock as a close infrastructure partner and has been featured in MagicBlock's blog coverage as one of the flagship applications demonstrating the BOLT and Ephemeral Rollup stack in production.
Backing and Ecosystem Relationships
Supersize received a $50,000 grant through the Multiplayer Fellowship, a joint programme run by Press Start Capital and Sanctor Capital focused on early-stage gaming projects on Solana. Colosseum — the organisation behind the hackathon where Supersize won — is listed among the project's backers, and Supersize has also participated in the Helius Startup Launchpad programme. MagicBlock, while an infrastructure partner rather than a traditional investor, has provided sustained developer support and co-marketing.
The project was included in Solana Mobile's Seeker Summer 2026 campaign alongside other ecosystem dApps, receiving exposure to the Seeker device user base through quest and badge integrations.
Audit and Security Status
No independent security audit for the Supersize smart contracts has been publicly disclosed in available sources. The use of MagicBlock's BOLT framework, which is a shared infrastructure layer also used by other projects, means the underlying ECS runtime has received broader scrutiny, but project-specific audit reports are not currently available. Players and developers should note this when assessing the platform.
Solana Fit
Supersize sits at an intersection that Solana is uniquely positioned to serve: low-latency on-chain games with real monetary stakes. The combination of Solana's throughput and finality, Token Extensions for in-game economics, and MagicBlock's Ephemeral Rollup layer for session-speed interactions produces a stack that handles real-time gameplay without reverting to off-chain databases or custodial game servers. The project is both a consumer-facing game and a public demonstration of what the BOLT framework can enable for other builders in the Solana ecosystem.
