IntoTheVerse

TLDR

IntoTheVerse is a web3 gaming studio that set out in 2021 to build metaverse experiences on Solana. After iterating through early metaverse concepts, the team shipped its flagship product: Cryptara Conquest, a fully onchain bullet-hell dungeon survival RPG. The game runs on Solana and is the primary mobile gaming title on the Solana Mobile Seeker device, where it integrates MagicBlock's gaming engine for provably fair, onchain randomness and streamlined wallet interactions. As of July 2026, Cryptara Conquest is live, actively updated, and listed among the top dApps on the Solana Mobile ecosystem.

Background and Origin

IntoTheVerse was founded in September 2021 with an ambitious brief: build a metaverse-scale parallel universe on Solana where players have genuine ownership of digital assets and can participate in a play-to-earn economy. The company describes itself as building "Games4Good," with early documentation pointing to an open-world social experience called Intrant Inferis and a broader metaverse platform.

The team brought together expertise across game design, blockchain development, artwork, and animation, and accumulated wins at major web3 gaming hackathons and startup accelerator competitions. Backed by SuperteamIN, the Superteam India chapter that supports Solana builders in the region, IntoTheVerse has been part of the broader Solana developer ecosystem since the early days of onchain gaming.

Cryptara Conquest: The Core Product

Rather than shipping a sprawling metaverse, IntoTheVerse focused its execution on a tightly scoped game: Cryptara Conquest. The team calls Cryptara "the genesis block" for all of IntoTheVerse's future titles — the first entry point into their broader onchain world.

Cryptara Conquest is a 2D bullet-hell rogue-like survival RPG inspired by titles like Enter the Gungeon. Players descend into procedurally challenging dungeons, battling enemies, collecting resources, forging items, and fighting bosses in unforgiving PvE encounters. Each run is a discrete session with a dungeon-crawl loop that rewards skill over pay-to-win mechanics.

The game's lore frames the world as a desolate landscape where three factions — the Guardians, the Raiders, and the Kleptos — compete for scarce survival resources. Every four years, a cosmic event called the Great Eclipse briefly unites these factions against an external threat. This narrative structure is designed to support future game modes and faction-based mechanics as the product roadmap expands.

Onchain Architecture and MagicBlock Integration

Cryptara Conquest is fully onchain, meaning game state, scores, and player achievements are settled on the Solana Virtual Machine rather than in centralized servers. The game is built in Unity and integrates the MagicBlock Unity SDK to call Solana programs directly from gameplay.

Key onchain components include:

MagicBlock VRF (Verifiable Random Function): Every spawn and loot drop in Cryptara Conquest is determined by MagicBlock's VRF system, which produces cryptographically verifiable randomness proven entirely on-chain. Players can verify that no spawn outcome, enemy pattern, or loot roll was manipulated — a property that classical games cannot offer.

SOAR (Solana Onchain Achievement and Rewards): Leaderboard scores and player achievements are managed via SOAR, MagicBlock's onchain achievement layer. This ensures that weekly tournament results and ranking competitions cannot be altered after the fact, and that automated reward distribution runs without a trusted intermediary.

Session Keys: To avoid requiring players to approve every individual transaction, Cryptara Conquest uses session keys — temporary, scoped signing keys that approve a batch of in-game actions within a defined session. Players sign once at session start, then play without constant wallet pop-ups. Version 1.0.3, released July 2026, introduced deterministic session keys that further reduced the number of wallet prompts while maintaining cryptographic integrity.

The game originally launched on Eclipse, an SVM-compatible network that uses Celestia as a data availability layer, chosen for its parallel execution and isolated fee markets. The team has since brought Cryptara Conquest natively to Solana and the Solana Mobile Seeker device, where it is available through the Solana Mobile dApp Store.

Solana Mobile and Seeker Integration

Cryptara Conquest is one of the higher-profile titles in the Solana Mobile Seeker ecosystem, appearing on multiple "top dApps" lists for the Seeker device as of mid-2026. Seeker holders receive tangible in-game benefits: boosted character stats, discounted in-game purchases, and access to Seeker Season perks — a loyalty layer built into the Solana Mobile ecosystem to reward device holders with cross-app benefits.

The game integrates with the broader Seeker incentive layer, where Seeker users unlock boosted stats and receive discounts on in-game items, and it has been featured in third-party roundups of the top five Seeker dApps.

NFTs and Access Passes

IntoTheVerse launched a Cryptara Conquest Access Pass as an open edition NFT on Ethereum mainnet in collaboration with Rarible. Access Pass holders received exclusive content, behind-the-scenes development updates, and early community membership. The team uses Rarible's APIs to mint and dynamically update in-game assets including skins, weapons, potions, and power-ups, connecting cross-chain NFT provenance to Solana-native gameplay.

By mid-2025, Cryptara Conquest had accumulated over 8 million total transactions, more than 11,500 unique players, and over 25,000 NFTs minted.

Recent Development: v1.0.3

The July 2026 v1.0.3 update was described by the team as their biggest gameplay and onchain release since launch. Key improvements included:

  • Revamped revival system with up to 10 revivals per run using HODL mechanics that reward continued play
  • Fairer leaderboard scoring that weights deeper dungeon runs over single high-score sessions
  • Weapons and accumulated score that persist across continuous runs
  • 60 FPS performance target with improved mobile controls
  • Native sharing of run clips and scores to X directly from the game
  • New smart contracts underpinning the updated session key and scoring systems
  • Popup-free gameplay through upgraded deterministic session keys

Team and Backing

IntoTheVerse is an India-based team backed by SuperteamIN, which connects them to the Solana Foundation's broader ecosystem support network. The team has won multiple web3 gaming hackathons and startup accelerator competitions. Blog contributors include Neha Roy, Arhit, devELIOper, and Aimee Gilmore.

Solana Fit

IntoTheVerse slots into Solana's onchain gaming vertical with a narrower, more execution-focused scope than many early metaverse projects. Rather than promising a virtual world, the team shipped a playable, fast, skill-based game and iterated in public. Their integration of MagicBlock's infrastructure — VRF, session keys, SOAR — demonstrates a deliberate choice to use Solana's technical strengths for gameplay rather than just settlement.

The Solana Mobile Seeker focus gives IntoTheVerse a distribution angle that most web3 games lack: a captive, crypto-native mobile audience actively looking for applications that use their device's onchain capabilities. As the Seeker ecosystem matures, Cryptara Conquest stands as a working reference implementation of what a mobile-first, fully onchain game looks like on Solana.
