A brass machine labeled with the Ramp logo channels USDC, USDT, and Solana token symbols through glowing energy streams into Stripe and Privy hardware, with a blockchain network visible above an antique navigation map and globe.

Ramp Ramp, the corporate spend platform processing over $200 billion in annual purchases for more than 70,000 organizations, has opened stablecoin accounts and payments to all of its customers. The feature, previously limited to a 150-company public beta, lets businesses hold, send, and receive USDC USDC and USDT USDT across seven blockchain networks, including Solana.

The infrastructure runs on Stripe Stripe's stablecoin stack: Bridge Bridge handles stablecoin issuance and orchestration, while Privy Privy provides the underlying wallet services. Stripe acquired Privy to anchor its stablecoin product ambitions. Ramp payments in stablecoin settle in minutes and run 24/7, against a typical three-to-five business day wait for SWIFT wires. No pre-funding is required.

Unified Workflows for Fiat and Stablecoin Payments

The product embeds stablecoin into existing Ramp payment flows rather than splitting them into a separate system. Stablecoin balances appear alongside fiat in Ramp's approval workflows; deposits sync automatically into connected accounting systems with the same audit trail as conventional payments. Businesses can pay vendors or employees from stablecoin balances, a Ramp checking account, or an external bank, without changing their approval process.

Beta data illustrates the operational gap the product fills. One customer found that stablecoin payments represented roughly 10% of vendor payments but consumed 50% of the accounts payable team's time, because the company managed them through a separate system. Ramp's unified approach removes that overhead.

The practical effect showed up across beta customers. Scott Guenther, Head of Finance at crypto firm 0x, said: "We're able to make payments in both fiat and stablecoins with one unified system." Pravesh Mansharamani, CEO of Totalis, said the feature "enabled us to keep our treasury on-chain." The beta's 150 adopters extended beyond crypto-native companies; Ramp cited a farming operation and a church accepting stablecoin donations among early users.

Solana as a Corporate Settlement Network

The seven supported networks (Base, Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Solana, and Tempo) reflect where Ramp's business counterparties already settle. Solana's inclusion puts it on equal footing with the major EVM chains inside a platform used by 70,000 finance teams, the majority of which have no crypto-specific product mandate.

That positioning tracks with the broader trajectory. Solana's stablecoin market cap crossed $15 billion last month, with alternative stablecoin supply reaching a new high. Ramp's own research, published in June, put global B2B stablecoin payment volume at $226 billion, up 733% year-over-year, with cross-border vendor payments as the primary driver. Cross-border transactions average nearly 6.5% in fees through traditional channels, per Ramp's research; stablecoin transfers run to a few cents.

Ramp's announcement follows Visa's separate stablecoin platform for banks and fintechs, also unveiled today. The two launches reflect the same shift: enterprise-facing financial infrastructure is being rebuilt around stablecoin settlement, and Solana is among the networks that major payment platforms are choosing to support.
