Ramp now supports Paxos-issued Global Dollar (USDG) on Solana, with zero-fee 1:1 conversions to and from dollars for vendor payments and reimbursements.

Ramp, the New York corporate card and spend-management company, now supports Global Dollar (USDG) on Solana, with no fees to convert dollars into USDG or USDG back into dollars. Alex Bazhenov, a senior crypto software engineer at Ramp, announced the addition on 16 October 2026 in a post on X: "USD โ†’ USDG: $0 in fees. USDG โ†’ USD: $0 in fees." He said Ramp offers 1:1 on-ramps and off-ramps for USDG "across our suite of products," as it does for every stablecoin it supports.

The official Solana account said the same day that Ramp customers can use USDG "for vendor payments, deposits, and reimbursements in Ramp." At the time of writing, Ramp's own stablecoins page still listed USDC, USDT and OUSD, and no post from the company's @tryramp account had mentioned USDG. The launch details come from Bazhenov, whom The Block identified as a Ramp senior crypto software engineer when he announced the company's fee-free USDT conversions in April 2026.

Zero-fee USDG conversions inside Ramp's stablecoin account

Ramp's stablecoin account lets a business hold dollar stablecoins next to its ordinary cash and spend them through the same tools it already uses. According to Ramp's support documentation, customers can pay their Ramp card statement in stablecoins, pay vendor bills through Bill Pay, send vendor payments, fund employee reimbursements, and move money between stablecoins and their US dollar accounts. Ramp covers network gas fees on payments from the account.

The support page lists seven networks for deposits, Solana among them, and says the account is open to US-based businesses except those based in New York. Those are the terms of the existing product; neither Bazhenov's post nor Solana's names any USDG-specific limits, regions or settlement times.

The practical change is the zero-fee conversion at a 1:1 rate. A finance team can turn dollars into USDG to pay a supplier who wants stablecoins, or take USDG it receives and cash it out to dollars, without a spread or conversion charge eating into the amount. Ramp made the same move for USDT in April 2026, adding fee-free USD and USDT conversions on Ethereum, Solana and Plasma, The Block reported.

What Global Dollar (USDG) is

USDG is a US dollar stablecoin issued by Paxos Digital Singapore, which is regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and backed by dollar deposits, short-dated US government securities and cash equivalents. It went live on Solana on 25 February 2025, according to the Global Dollar Network's announcement. The Global Dollar Network USDG$1.000+0.0% is the group of companies that distribute USDG, with members including Paxos, Anchorage Digital, Kraken and Robinhood. Neither Bazhenov nor Solana said whether Ramp has joined the network.

USDG is a mid-sized stablecoin on Solana. Solana Compass data shows a USDG supply of about 650 million tokens on the network on 16 October 2026, against a USDC market value of about $7.9 billion on Solana in the same Compass token data. Holder accounts are growing faster than supply: the number of USDG holder accounts on Solana rose from about 17,000 on 19 July to nearly 25,000 on 16 October, while supply grew about 6% over the same period. None of that data shows Ramp-driven flows yet; the integration is hours old.

Token accounts holding USDG on Solana climbed from about 17,000 to nearly 25,000 in three months, before Ramp's integration went live.

A $60 billion fintech's growing Solana footprint

Ramp has been adding Solana features to its stablecoin product since it opened stablecoin accounts to all of its customers in July 2026, with Solana one of seven supported networks. In August it added x402 payment wallets for AI agents on Solana. USDG now joins USDC, USDT and OUSD among the dollar stablecoins Ramp supports, with Bazhenov's post naming Solana as its network.

The addition came a day after a large raise. Ramp chief executive Eric Glyman said on 15 October 2026 that the company had raised $1.85 billion at a $60 billion valuation. Ramp's stablecoins page says it serves more than 70,000 businesses, a customer base that comes to Ramp for corporate cards and bill payments.

Bazhenov credited the integration to Carter Appleton, whom he described as the newest member of Ramp's digital asset team, and said it shipped within Appleton's first two weeks at the company. "Stay tuned, much more to come from him in the future," he wrote.
