Jupiter Mobile Adds One-Click Send to Spend for Instant USDC Card Funding
Jupiter Mobile's Send to Spend feature moves USDC from wallet to Jupiter Card in one tap, removing the friction from crypto debit card funding on Solana.
Jupiter JUP$0.284-1.4% launched Send to Spend on September 22, a one-click feature inside Jupiter Mobile that moves USDC directly from a user's wallet into their Jupiter Card Spend Account without leaving the app.
How Send to Spend Works in Jupiter Mobile
The flow is three taps: open Send, select Send to Spend, choose the token and amount. Funds route automatically to the user's Spend Account, with no separate deposit address or external transfer step. USDC and USDT transfer 1:1 with no conversion. Any other token the user holds is auto-swapped to USDC via Jupiter Ultra in the same transaction, with a 0.1% fee for SOL, LSTs, and bluechip assets, and 0.2% for most other tokens, per Jupiter's documentation.
The Spend Account balance is denominated in USD at conversion. Previously, funding the Spend Account required maintaining a separate deposit address and transferring from an external source. Send to Spend consolidates that into a single in-app action.
Jupiter Card: USDC Spending at 150M+ Visa Merchants
The Spend Account backs the Jupiter Card, a virtual Visa debit card that lets users spend their USDC balance at any merchant accepting Visa. USDC deposits convert 1:1 to USD with no spread on the deposit, according to Jupiter's card documentation. There are no fees on USD-denominated purchases; non-USD transactions carry a 1% foreign exchange fee on Rain-issued cards.
The card is available in most US states plus regions across the Americas, Africa, the Middle East, and parts of Asia-Pacific. The program offers 4% cashback on the free tier, with referral milestones extending that to 10%, per Jupiter's card documentation.
Jupiter Global, the payments arm of Jupiter, launched the card program in January 2026 and has since added QR Pay for APAC merchants and fiat remittance to over 200 countries. Physical cards are scheduled to roll out through the remainder of 2026.
How Jupiter Mobile Reduces Crypto Card Funding Friction
The Send to Spend addition targets a specific step that consistently creates drop-off in crypto card programs: the gap between a user's on-chain wallet and the card funding account. Most competing products require users to copy a deposit address, switch apps or interfaces, execute a separate send transaction, and wait for confirmation before the card balance reflects the transfer.
By integrating that step directly into Jupiter Mobile's Send menu, the feature keeps the entire flow within one app. The swap for non-USDC tokens is wrapped into the same transaction, so a user holding SOL or any other Solana asset can fund their card without a manual conversion step beforehand.
Jupiter has been building toward this convergence across its product lines. Its swap aggregator processed $802.6M in swap volume on September 22, the day the feature launched, per Solana Compass data. The perpetuals exchange and lending product sit alongside Jupiter Global's payments layer within the same mobile app, positioning it as a spending interface for on-chain balances rather than a standalone DeFi tool.
