Collector Crypt Posts Record $433.5M Q3 Pack Sales as 548 Wallets Supply 83%, Pine Analytics Finds
Pine Analytics'' Q3 2026 report on Collector Crypt: record $433.5M in pack sales and doubled buyers, but $25.4M gross profit and 548 wallets supplying 83%.
Collector Crypt, the Solana app that sells digital packs of tokenized, graded trading cards, took a record $433.5 million in pack payments in the third quarter of 2026, according to a Q3 report that Pine Analytics published on October 12, 2026. The same report shows how little of that stays with the company: gross profit was $25.4 million, a 5.9% gross margin, and the money came overwhelmingly from a few hundred large spenders.
Pine built its figures from Blockworks financial statements, checked against on-chain payment data. The report carries no disclosure of any relationship between Pine and Collector Crypt.
Collector Crypt Q3 2026 revenue counts gross pack payments
Pine counts as revenue every dollar paid for packs: USDC on Solana, card payments and, from September 25, USDG on Robinhood Chain. On that basis Q3 revenue was 8% above Q2. Most of that money goes back out. Pine puts card buybacks and redemptions paid to players at $408.1 million, or 94.1% of revenue, a share that has held between 93.9% and 94.3% for four quarters.
What remains is the $25.4 million gross profit, up 12% on Q2. The margin has barely moved: 5.7% in Q2 and 6.1% in Q1. Pine's summary is that "it is a volume business with a fixed take." A record quarter for Collector Crypt is therefore mostly a record for throughput, with profit scaling roughly in line.
Jupiter storefront brings first-time pack buyers
Pine counts 21,876 distinct wallets that bought a pack on Solana in Q3, twice the 10,978 of Q2. Pine credits much of the new breadth to Jupiter JUP$0.328-1.4%, whose storefront went live on July 13, an opening we covered when Jupiter's gacha sold $9M of packs in its first five days.
In Pine's sample of 2,043 Jupiter buyers, 92% were new to Collector Crypt, against 49% on Collector Crypt's own site. Jupiter's share faded after launch week, from 35% of sales in week one to 6-9% a week later in the quarter, and it finished Q3 with 11% of pack sales by value. Collector Crypt's own site took about 80%.
548 whale wallets supplied 83% of Q3 pack spending
The doubled buyer base did not spread the spending out. Pine found that the 548 wallets that each spent $100,000 or more put in 83% of the quarter's money, and 85 wallets spent over $1 million each. Crypto Briefing worked that out to roughly 2.5% of buyers. Concentration at the very top did ease: the top 100 wallets accounted for 54% of Q3 sales, down from 60% in Q2.
Big spenders also moved to pricier packs. Pine reports that $2,500-and-up packs brought in $169.6 million, 39% of pack sales, against 21% in Q2, helped by a $5,000 pack machine that launched on August 2 and took $81.3 million. Sales at the $1,000 tier fell about 60% over the same period. In Pine's words, "the money moved up rather than out."
Monthly pack sales slid from June's $212.2M peak
The quarterly record hides a slide. Pine's monthly series peaks at $212.2 million in June, the best month in Collector Crypt's history, then runs $157.3 million in July, $141.7 million in August and $134.5 million in September. September was about 37% below June. Spending per wallet fell faster: Pine's revenue per active wallet-day dropped from $9,100 in June to $5,600 in September, as more, smaller buyers joined.
Pine does flag a turn. The first nine days of October averaged $5.4 million a day, against $4.5 million a day in September.
CARDS token unlocks outpace buybacks more than 50 to 1
The CARDS token sits outside the profit line. Pine describes it plainly: "CARDS is a fixed-supply token with no fee switch and no vote." Holders receive monthly free packs scaled to their balance, and no share of the $25 million gross profit.
New supply far exceeds retirements. Pine counts about 59 million CARDS released each month under vesting schedules for the team, advisors, seed investors and a community pool, through July 29, 2027. A buyback bot retires about 1.1 million CARDS a month, a ratio of more than 50 to 1. Pine puts all-time burns at 25.8 million CARDS, most of it the single 22.5 million burn on August 29 that we reported in our piece on the token's first year.
The token's holder base has widened alongside the buyer count. CARDS holders on Solana Compass rose from 18,108 wallets on July 17 to 40,922 on September 30 and 50,616 on October 13. Token holders and pack buyers are different groups, so the holder count is no proxy for Collector Crypt's customers.
Wallets holding CARDS grew from 18,108 to 50,616 between July 17 and October 13, with most of the gain after mid-September.
View on Solana Compass →Courtyard, Coinbase and the tokenized trading card market
Pine sets the quarter against a shifting field: rival Courtyard's Q3 revenue fell 57% to $7.6 million, leaving Collector Crypt about 3.3 times its size. Coinbase cbBTC$83,363.30-0.3% announced physical-backed Pokémon packs on September 28 without a date, chain or price. Pine's line: "Courtyard shrank, and Coinbase is coming."
The next 59 million CARDS unlock is due on October 29, 2026. Two figures from Pine's report are worth tracking into Q4: whether October's rebound in daily sales holds, and whether the 548 large spenders keep buying at the top tiers.
