Beezie, the marketplace for vaulted, graded trading cards and other physical collectibles, is shutting down its Base operations and moving its Claws, marketplace and collectibles onto Solana. Beezie announced the move on 16 October 2026 in a blog post titled "Beezie is making Solana its home", and said its Base-to-Solana migration tool opens on 20 October at 8:00 AM ET. The Base window closes on 27 October. Beezie is not new to Solana. It has run a Solana marketplace since May 2026, and the move ends five months of running separate markets on two chains. In its announcement on X, Beezie said the Claws, the marketplace and the collectibles are all coming together on Solana.

The official Solana account replied the same day with "Welcome home, @Beezie".

Vaulted trading cards and claw-machine pulls: how Beezie works

Beezie sells graded collectibles such as Pokémon and One Piece cards, sports cards and sealed product. Each physical item sits in a vault and is paired with a token on-chain, so it can be bought and sold instantly and redeemed for the real item later. Its best-known product is the Claw, a digital claw machine: a user pays for a pull and receives a random graded card from a prize pool, which they can keep, list or sell back to Beezie straight away.

When Beezie expanded to Solana on 12 May 2026, Decrypt reported that the company had started on Flow, moved on to Base, and had done more than $100 million in trading volume on Base. Beezie also gave Decrypt figures of more than $142 million in annual recurring revenue, over 540,000 claw pulls and over 530,000 instant buybacks, a buyback rate of about 90%. Those are company figures from May. The 16 October announcement gives no new volume or user numbers.

Base to Solana migration timeline: 19, 20 and 27 October

Beezie's blog sets out three dates, all in US Eastern time:

  • 19 October, 3:00 AM: Base Claws pause while Beezie moves their prize inventory to Solana.
  • 20 October, 8:00 AM: the migration tool opens. Base users can move eligible collectibles and supported Beezie wallet funds to Solana. Base redemptions pause at the same time.
  • 27 October, 8:00 AM: the seven-day window closes. Base trading ends, the Base site goes into maintenance, and Beezie automatically migrates any remaining eligible collectibles to Solana.

What Base users need to do: collectibles, wallet funds and codes

Beezie collectibles on Base are covered either way. Users can move them with the migration tool during the window, and Beezie says any eligible items left on Base after 27 October will be migrated for them. The blog does not define which items count as ineligible, so holders with unusual items should check the FAQ in the post.

Beezie wallet funds work differently. "Funds will not migrate automatically," the blog says, and users must bridge supported funds themselves through a bridging page. Buying and selling on Base stays open until the window closes on 27 October.

Several perks are on hold during the move. Beezie has paused new bonus pulls and new discount codes, and Base LAB activations such as raffles, the Points Shop and the Points Vault have stopped. Existing unused codes stay valid until their original expiry dates.

Why Beezie is consolidating on one chain

Beezie's stated reason is simplicity. Running Claws and a marketplace on two chains splits buyers and sellers between two separate markets. The blog says consolidating gives collectors "one Marketplace" and "a simpler experience", and sums it up as "Same Beezie. One chain. One marketplace. One home for everything." Beezie has not published chain-by-chain volume, so there is no public data on whether Solana activity had overtaken Base.

Beezie has already used Solana for new categories. In September Beezie and The Luxury Closet began tokenizing authenticated Hermès Birkin bags on Solana, one of the "new verticals, such as luxury goods" that CEO Andrea Miele promised when the company arrived in May.

Solana's tokenized trading card market: Collector Crypt and gacha rivals

Beezie is consolidating into a busy category. Collector Crypt booked $433.5 million in third-quarter 2026 revenue, $433.1 million of it from packs, according to Pine Analytics' quarterly report, a result we covered in our look at Collector Crypt's record Q3. The same Pine Analytics report already counts Beezie, which "moved to Solana in May", among Collector Crypt's on-chain competitors. Jupiter JUP$0.301-3.8% has run its own gacha card packs too. Gacha is the industry name for pay-for-a-random-prize mechanics, and the claw machine is Beezie's version of it.

If the migration runs to Beezie's schedule, from 27 October its Claws, marketplace and vaulted inventory will all sit on Solana, with Base left in maintenance mode.
