Breakpoint 2026 Speakers: Solana Foundation Adds Boris Johnson, Sajid Javid and Revolut Chair Martin Gilbert
Solana Foundation's second Breakpoint 2026 speaker wave adds Boris Johnson, Sajid Javid, Revolut chair Martin Gilbert and execs from Zelle, Mastercard and DTCC.
The Solana Foundation on October 27, 2026 announced the second wave of Breakpoint 2026 speakers, adding former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, former Chancellor of the Exchequer Sajid Javid and Revolut chair Martin Gilbert to its London conference. The Solana Foundation release also names Standard Life chair Sir Nicholas Lyons and ICE Europe president Hester Serafini, alongside executives from Zelle, DTCC, Mastercard, Backpack and Bitwise. Breakpoint 2026 runs November 15โ17 at Olympia London under the theme "Token Supercycle".
Boris Johnson, Sajid Javid and Lord Vaizey lead the UK policy speakers
The policy names in the second wave are mostly British. The Solana Foundation lists Johnson as former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Javid as former Chancellor and former Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, and Lord Vaizey of Didcot as a member of the House of Lords and former Minister for Culture and the Digital Economy. Sir Nicholas Lyons is billed as chair of Standard Life and former Lord Mayor of the City of London, the ceremonial head of London's financial district.
Washington is represented by Patrick Witt, listed as former Executive Director of the President's Council of Advisors for Digital Assets at the White House. The release does not say what any of the policy speakers will discuss.
Zelle, Mastercard, Barclays and DTCC executives join the London lineup
Executives from Zelle, Mastercard, Barclays and DTCC lead the payments and capital-markets speakers. The Breakpoint speakers page and the release both list Alexandra Lang, VP of digital assets partnerships and strategy at Zelle; Christian Rau, SVP of digital assets and blockchain at Mastercard; Scott Lucas, head of digital assets at Barclays; and Val Wotton, global head of equities solutions at DTCC, the US post-trade utility.
The release adds Patrick Corker of BNY, Rowland Berry of Payoneer, Kathrin Hamilton of Baillie Gifford, Kathy Kriskey of Invesco and Bitwise chief investment officer Matt Hougan. PJ Bain is also on the list as CEO of PrimeRevenue, which has said it is tokenizing its electronic time drafts on Solana.
Builders from the Solana SOL$99.73-1.5% ecosystem fill out the roster: Backpack founder Armani Ferrante, Jupiter JUP$0.272-1.8% COO Kash Dhanda, Eugene Chen of Ellipsis Labs, the team behind Phoenix, Helius hSOL$125.09-1.0% CEO Mert Mumtaz, Anza CEO Brennan Watt and MetaDAO META$4,225.80+0.3% co-founder Proph3t. The bill also finds room for NBA champion Tristan Thompson and World Series of Poker world champion Lucas Jumalon.
How the second speaker wave extends August's first announcement
The first speaker wave in August centred on MoneyGram CEO Anthony Soohoo, Allfunds CEO Annabel Spring, Bridge CEO Zach Abrams, Balaji Srinivasan and Raoul Pal, all of whom the October release lists as previously announced. On our reading, the second wave adds a different layer: a card network, a UK bank, US market plumbing and a former Chancellor of the Exchequer.
The programme matches that tilt. According to the release, Day 1, "The Supercycle, Today", covers institutional assets moving onchain, including stablecoins, payments and tokenized real-world assets, while Day 2, "The Supercycle, Tomorrow", turns to AI agents, consumer apps and markets built on programmable capital. Solana Foundation president Lily Liu framed the pitch around speed and open access, and around who decides where those markets get built.
Breakpoint 2026 London dates, venue and registration
Breakpoint 2026 is the first edition held in the UK, running November 15โ17 at Olympia London. In its August first-wave announcement, the Solana Foundation said more than 8,000 attendees from over 100 countries are expected. Registration is open at solana.com/breakpoint; the October release does not describe the Day 3 programme.
