Zealy
Zealy is a gamified community platform offering quests, rewards, and engagement tools for Web3 projects.
Zealy
Zealy is a community engagement platform that lets Web3 projects — and increasingly Web2 brands — build, activate, and retain audiences through gamified quest campaigns. Projects configure a quest board on Zealy, publish tasks ranging from social follows to content creation, and distribute rewards to participants based on completion and performance. The result is a structured, measurable pipeline from awareness to loyal community membership, without requiring projects to build custom tooling.
Problem Solved
Acquiring users in crypto is cheap; keeping them engaged long enough to matter is not. Most projects default to generic Discord announcements and Twitter raids that produce a spike in follower counts and little else. Zealy replaces that pattern with a persistent, trackable engagement layer. Projects define exactly what they want their community to do — follow accounts, test a product, create educational content, refer new members — then attach XP and rewards to those actions. Participants have a reason to return. Projects get a verifiable record of who actually showed up.
How It Works
At its core, Zealy operates on a two-sided model: project communities publish quests; community members complete them.
For projects, the flow starts by creating a community on Zealy, setting up a quest board, and defining tasks. Each task carries an XP value and, optionally, a direct token or USDC reward. Zealy auto-verifies certain actions — connecting a wallet, following an account on X, joining a Discord server — via API integrations, while others require manual proof such as screenshots, URLs, or text submissions. Projects can configure Sprints (time-limited bursts of engagement) or run ongoing campaigns. A Partnership Quests feature lets two communities cross-promote by embedding each other's tasks, which has driven tens of thousands of new members for participating projects within days. The platform also supports trading competitions and performance-based influencer campaigns through a KOL coordination layer.
For users, the experience centers on an XP and leaderboard system. Completing quests earns non-transferable experience points that accumulate on a public leaderboard. That leaderboard position influences eligibility for token distributions, whitelist spots, NFT access, Discord role assignments, and other project-defined prizes. Crucially, Zealy does not issue its own tokens or run airdrops — all rewards are defined and distributed by the host project. The platform also offers an Earn page where users can discover quests with guaranteed USDC payouts, providing direct monetary incentive alongside the XP meta-game.
Verification methods vary: social verifications are automated; wallet-connected quests confirm on-chain state; user-generated content tasks go to manual review queues. Completed quest history builds a verifiable activity record that acts as a portable reputation signal — projects and analysts can assess what a user has actually done, not just what tokens they hold.

Supported Tokens and Assets
Zealy is blockchain-agnostic at the platform level. Projects configure their own reward tokens — any asset the project controls can be distributed as a prize. The platform highlights USDC as a natively supported payout currency on the Earn page, enabling guaranteed fiat-adjacent rewards without project-side custody risk. There is no native Zealy token.
Team and History
Zealy was founded in 2022 by Mathis Grosjean (CEO), Fredrika Lindh, and Louis Demeslay, operating as Freyja Labs SAS, a Paris-based company. The platform launched under the name Crew3 and quickly gained traction as a default community tooling layer for NFT projects and early DeFi protocols.
In April 2023, the company rebranded from Crew3 to Zealy. The motivation was deliberate scope expansion: the original name carried Web3-specific connotations that limited appeal to the broader brand marketing and consumer loyalty space the team wanted to address. Enterprise partners now include LVMH, Michelin, and Ubisoft — a signal that the gamified quest model translates beyond crypto-native use cases.
Zealy raised $3.5 million in seed funding, with investors including Redalpine Venture Partners, Blockwall Ventures, Aglae Ventures, Kima Ventures, and Connect Ventures.
Security and Audits
Zealy is a SaaS platform rather than a smart-contract protocol, so traditional on-chain audits are not applicable. The platform stores user activity data and handles reward distribution logic off-chain. No third-party security audits of the platform infrastructure have been publicly disclosed. Projects distributing token rewards on-chain bear responsibility for the security of their own smart contracts and distribution mechanics; Zealy facilitates eligibility determination rather than on-chain execution.
Solana Ecosystem Fit
Zealy does not operate a Solana-specific product, but it has become a standard community-building tool across the Solana ecosystem. NFT collections, DeFi protocols, gaming projects, and validator sets regularly use Zealy to run onboarding campaigns, test product adoption, and structure allowlist qualification. The platform's wallet-connection verification works with Solana wallets, and projects distributing SOL-denominated or SPL token rewards can configure Zealy to gate eligibility based on quest completion, with manual or API-driven reward distribution to qualifying addresses.
The breadth of Solana projects that have run Zealy campaigns reflects both the platform's ease of setup and the absence of a comparable native alternative at equivalent adoption scale. For teams that need a structured, observable engagement layer rather than an informal social campaign, Zealy fills that gap without requiring any custom smart contract development.
