Range
Range is the institutional operations platform for finance teams running capital across stablecoins and traditional fiat rails simultaneously — giving them a unified real-time ledger, pre-settlement risk controls, and compliance tooling in a single product.
How it works
The product is organized into two modules that can be adopted independently or together.
Unify brings every bank account, custodian, wallet, exchange, and payment processor into one real-time treasury ledger. Sub-features cover the full back-office workflow: Treasury surfaces balances and cash-flow forecasts across all entities and currencies; Transaction Reconciliation uses AI-powered rule matching to classify and reconcile stablecoin transfers, fiat payments, fees, and FX movements automatically; Counterparty Management stores KYC and KYB documents, whitelists vendors and wallets, and syncs counterparty information across all connected rails; Reporting and Intelligence normalizes data across formats and generates custom reports for finance, audit, and board use, with access to Range's Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration and data APIs for AI-powered queries.
Protect runs risk controls before money moves — a critical distinction on stablecoin rails, where settlement is final in seconds and cannot be reversed. Transaction Screening checks every outbound payment against sanctions lists (including real-time OFAC updates), watchlists, and fraud signals, issuing an allow, block, or review decision before execution. In July 2026, when OFAC added 134 addresses tied to ISIS/ISIL financing to its sanctions list, Range updated its Transaction Screening database immediately so every customer payment was screened against the updated list before the money moved. Counterparty Risk and Travel Rule handles risk-scoring of counterparties, VASP identification, and collection and exchange of Travel Rule data as required by MiCA and emerging US regulation (including the GENIUS Act). Threat and Fraud Prevention monitors for suspicious activity, account changes, and exploit exposure in real time. Treasury and Portfolio Risk tracks concentration, liquidity, depeg, and market risk across assets, custodians, and protocols.
Scale and integrations
Range connects to more than 10,000 banks, custodians, wallets, and exchanges. Named integration partners include J.P. Morgan, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citi, Fireblocks, Anchorage Digital, DFNS, Utila, Coinbase, Binance, Kraken, Ledger, Trezor, Safe, MetaMask, Phantom, Squads, Wise, Stripe, PayPal, Chainalysis, Elliptic, QuickBooks, and Xero. The platform monitors 200+ networks and 100+ stablecoins, and according to the company tracks 99.41% of all global stablecoin payment activity. Monthly screened payment volume exceeds $20 billion, and the platform currently protects more than $30 billion in customer assets under management.
Range offers a free-forever Connect tier providing unlimited account integrations, basic treasury overview, and up to five team members. Paid Unify and Protect modules are priced based on usage and can be layered on incrementally as treasury complexity grows.
Solana ecosystem fit
Solana is a supported network within Range's multi-chain coverage, and Range has become embedded in the operational infrastructure of some of Solana's largest institutional stakeholders.
The Solana Foundation uses Range for real-time risk intelligence across its treasury programs, monitoring stablecoin flows, new user activity, and liquidity on the network. Raja Chakravorti, Chief Business Officer of Stellar Development Foundation, noted that stablecoins only deliver on their promise when operations are safe, compliance-forward, and auditable — the same thesis applies to Range's work with the Solana Foundation.
[[PROJECT:234]] (Squads), the Solana-native multisig and treasury management platform, is a named customer. Stepan Simkin, co-founder and CEO of Squads, described Range as "a dream infrastructure for those serious about OpenSec" and confirmed deep integration between the two products. [[PROJECT:219]] (Jupiter), Solana's largest DEX aggregator, also uses Range for treasury risk management.
Supported Solana-native wallets — Phantom and Squads — are included directly within Range's integration ecosystem.
Security and compliance posture
Range's founding team includes recognized security auditors and bug bounty hunters who collectively secured more than $300 million in assets across crypto, fintech, and enterprise systems before building the product. The GitHub organization, rangesecurity, reflects those security-research origins and houses open tooling related to blockchain security.
The platform architecture implements strict tenant isolation: customer workspaces are logically segregated, all data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is governed by role-based permissions with least-privilege defaults at every layer. Range is currently undergoing a SOC 2 Type II external audit covering security, availability, and confidentiality controls, and is GDPR compliant. Customer data is not used to train AI models.
Team and funding
Range was founded in 2022 by Andres Monteoliva (co-founder and CEO) and Michael (co-founder). Paula Pettit serves as VP of Strategy and Growth. The company has raised $11 million in total, including an $8.3 million Series A announced on June 18, 2026. The round was oversubscribed and closed with backing from both traditional fintech funds and crypto-native investors: Swiss-based TX Ventures, US-based SixThirty Ventures, Maven 11 Capital, Onigiri Capital, and the Stellar Development Foundation.
The investor composition signals the broader thesis. TX Ventures and SixThirty typically back payments infrastructure and banking software. Their participation — alongside crypto-native funds — reflects the view that stablecoin treasury operations are converging with traditional fiat financial operations and require a control layer spanning both rails. Range was built specifically for that gap.
Publicly named customers include the Solana Foundation, Circle, Noble, Stellar Development Foundation, Squads, and Jupiter. Case studies on the company's site document work on USDC cross-chain transfer transparency with Noble, security monitoring integrations with Squads, and stablecoin flow intelligence for the Stellar Development Foundation. John Letey, Director of Engineering at Noble, cited Range's "exceptional technical and security-focused expertise" developed through an ongoing collaboration.
