About

Minos Global

Minos Global is a Spanish B2B crypto-asset infrastructure company that enables banks, fintechs, investment platforms, and brokers to offer regulated cryptocurrency services without building their own blockchain stack. Founded in 2018 by Ruben Rodenas Cebrian and Ruben Garrote Garcia and headquartered in Madrid, the company operates across Europe and Latin America, providing white-label custody, brokerage, payments, and tokenization services through a Crypto-as-a-Service (CaaS) API model.

Core Mechanism

Minos Global's core offering is a microservices-based infrastructure layer that financial institutions access through a unified API. Rather than requiring clients to navigate the complexity of blockchain integrations, regulatory compliance, and key management independently, Minos Global bundles these capabilities into modular components that can be deployed selectively: a client might activate custody and brokerage while leaving tokenization for a later phase.

The architecture supports multiple blockchains, including Ethereum, Polygon PoS, and Solana, allowing institutional clients to offer their own customers access to assets across these networks through a single integration. The platform also supports Circle's USDC and EURC stablecoins, is accessible on Android, iOS, and Web, and includes on/off-ramp functionality for moving between fiat and crypto.

Key Products and Services

White-label infrastructure. Minos Global's primary offering is a full-stack B2B platform that financial institutions rebrand and offer to their end customers. Six core service areas are available through the platform: crypto custody and administration, crypto-to-fiat exchange, crypto-to-crypto exchange, order execution on behalf of clients, placement of crypto-assets, and reception and transmission of orders. Clients choose which services to activate based on their regulatory licenses and business model.

NUMMUN. A crypto and fiat payment gateway designed for businesses that want to accept cryptocurrency payments without deep technical integration. NUMMUN connects into Minos Global's existing custody and brokerage infrastructure, meaning merchants receive fiat settlement while the platform handles the underlying crypto mechanics.

Minos Securities. In May 2025, the CNMV granted Minos Global authorization to establish Minos Securities, described as Spain's first tokenized securities agency. This entity operates as an ERIR (Entity Responsible for Information and Registration), with the role of verifying and registering financial tokens on distributed ledger technology—a legal requirement for tokenized instruments under Spain's Securities Markets and Investment Services Act and the EU's MiCA regulation. Minos Securities is designed as an all-in-one platform connecting issuers and investors directly for tokenized financial assets including money market instruments and investment funds.

Regulatory Standing

Minos Global is one of the first crypto-asset service providers in Spain to receive full MiCA authorization from the CNMV (Spain's national securities regulator), with authorization confirmed as of June 2026 under Article 63 of MiCA regulation (2023/1114). The company is also registered with the Bank of Spain as a provider of virtual currency exchange services under number D672.

The six categories of services covered by its MiCA authorization span the full range of institutional crypto services: custody, fiat-to-crypto exchange, crypto-to-crypto exchange, order execution, placement, and order reception and transmission. This breadth of authorization distinguishes Minos Global from providers with narrower licenses.

Minos Securities holds a separate CNMV registration as an Investment Services Firm (number 333), covering the tokenized securities vertical specifically.

Partnerships and Institutional Validation

Prosegur Cash, the cash logistics and custody division of Spanish security giant Prosegur, has taken an increased stake in Minos Global, providing both institutional credibility and custody infrastructure access. The two companies have collaborated on several deployments.

In November 2023, a joint solution with Prosegur Crypto was launched inside MiDinero, Uruguay's leading personal finance fintech with over 500,000 cardholders. The integration allowed MiDinero users to buy, sell, and custody Bitcoin, Ethereum, and stablecoins in Uruguayan pesos or US dollars, with the Central Bank of Uruguay (BCU) approving the service after regulatory supervision and testing.

Minos Global also joined a collaboration agreement with MyInvestor—a Spanish neobank backed by Andbank, AXA, and El Corte Ingles—and Prosegur Crypto to explore expanded digital asset services for MyInvestor's customer base, responding to demand following MiCA's implementation.

Minos Global is listed in Circle's Alliance Directory as a partner supporting USDC and EURC, adding another layer of institutional blockchain infrastructure to the platform.

Solana in the Stack

Solana is one of three blockchain networks natively supported by Minos Global's infrastructure, alongside Ethereum and Polygon PoS. For institutional clients building custody, brokerage, or tokenization products through the Minos Global API, this means they can offer their end customers access to Solana-based assets—including SPL tokens and stablecoins—without building separate integrations. The Solana support positions Minos Global as a regulatory-compliant on-ramp for traditional finance players looking to access the Solana ecosystem through a single European-regulated infrastructure provider.

Geographic Footprint

Minos Global operates primarily in Europe, with regulatory coverage centered on Spain and Andorra, and active deployments in Latin America, particularly Uruguay. The MiCA framework, which governs Minos Global's European operations, enables passporting across EU member states, though its current regulatory passport is scoped to Spain.

Position in the Ecosystem

Minos Global occupies the regulated B2B infrastructure layer of the crypto market—building the plumbing that enables banks and fintechs to offer crypto services without themselves holding crypto-asset service provider licenses or managing blockchain infrastructure. Its combination of MiCA authorization, CNMV-registered securities capabilities, and multi-chain support including Solana makes it a compliance-first gateway for traditional financial institutions entering the digital asset space in Europe and Latin America.
