About

Minos Global

Minos Global is a Spanish B2B crypto-as-a-service infrastructure provider that gives financial institutions, fintechs, and enterprises the tools to offer cryptocurrency products without building their own stack. Founded in 2018 in Alicante, Spain by Ruben Rodenas Cebrian and Ruben Garrote Garcia, the company draws on its founders' cybersecurity backgrounds to deliver custody, brokerage, payments, NFT, and tokenization services through a unified API. In March 2026 the Spanish securities regulator CNMV granted Minos Global full authorization as a Crypto-Asset Service Provider (CASP) under the EU MiCA regulation (Regulation 2023/1114), making it one of only five Spanish fintechs to receive that designation in the initial authorization wave.

Minos Global does not operate a consumer exchange or retail wallet. Instead it surfaces all functionality as white-label modules and API endpoints that its business clients embed in their own branded products. A client can license individual services or assemble them into a full product via a single RESTful integration. The company's target customers are fintechs, neobanks, payment processors, and capital markets firms that want to add digital-asset functionality but prefer not to seek their own VASP registration or build custody engineering from scratch.

Product Suite

Minos Global organizes its offering into four product lines:

Nummun is a crypto payment gateway that integrates custody and brokerage back-end services, letting end users pay in the digital asset of their choice while the merchant settles in their preferred currency. It supports on/off-ramp flows and is available across web, Android, and iOS.

The investment platform, deployed in a white-label configuration for partners, integrates custody, brokerage, and payment services into a unified trading experience. This is the infrastructure Minos Global provided to power the Prosegur Crypto and MiDinero collaboration.

Openart is an NFT marketplace that folds in custody, brokerage, payment, and trust functionality, giving operators a white-label venue for minting and trading tokenized digital collectibles.

Dinanto is a tokenized financing platform targeting regulated capital markets use cases, covering the issuance, custody, trading, and registration of tokenized financial assets corresponding to what Spanish regulators call Entidades de Registro e Intermediacion de Registros (ERIR).

Blockchain and Stablecoin Support

The Minos Global platform supports three public networks: Ethereum, Polygon PoS, and Solana. On the stablecoin side, the company integrates Circle's USDC and EURC, listed in Circle's Alliance Directory as an authorized partner for on/off-ramp services. The multi-chain and stablecoin architecture lets clients serve both euro-denominated and dollar-denominated use cases across Europe and Latin America without maintaining separate integrations for each chain.

Partnerships and Live Deployments

The most publicly documented deployment of the Minos Global stack is a joint solution with Prosegur Crypto, the digital-asset arm of the global security company Prosegur. Prosegur Crypto contributes institutional-grade cold storage; Minos Global provides the brokerage, trading, and payment layer. The integrated platform launched commercially in Uruguay through MiDinero, a Uruguayan personal finance fintech with more than 500,000 cardholders and 250,000 active users, enabling those users to buy, sell, and hold Bitcoin, Ethereum, and stablecoins directly inside the MiDinero mobile application. Both companies have indicated Uruguay is the first market under a plan to expand the partnership to additional jurisdictions as regulatory frameworks permit.

Regulatory Trajectory

The MiCA CASP authorization obtained in March 2026 covers crypto-asset custody, brokerage, and payment services across EU member states. Minos Global also holds registration number D672 in the Bank of Spain's registry of providers of virtual currency exchange services for fiduciary currency and custody of electronic wallets. The authorization ahead of the July 2026 deadline positions it to operate passportable crypto-asset services throughout the European Economic Area without needing separate country-by-country approvals.

Company Profile

Minos Global is bootstrapped with no disclosed external funding rounds as of mid-2026 and operates with a team of approximately fourteen people. Co-founder Ruben Rodenas Cebrian has a security research background including documented work in ATM and hardware hacking, which informs the firm's security-first design philosophy. The company's decision to pursue MiCA authorization early, and to anchor its first major commercial deployment in Uruguay through a partner with half a million customers, reflects a deliberate strategy of using compliance and institutional partnerships as a distribution channel rather than relying on direct consumer marketing.
