Fideum Wallet
Fideum Wallet helps you manage your digital assets securely by storing private keys and enabling transactions directly on the blockchain.
Fideum
Fideum is a regulated digital asset infrastructure company that provides institutional clients with a single platform for custody, trading, staking, settlement, and compliance. Its core proposition is straightforward: banks, brokerages, fintechs, and enterprise treasury teams should be able to operate in digital assets with the same confidence and regulatory clarity they expect from traditional financial infrastructure — and Fideum supplies the technology layer to make that possible.
Origins and Pivot
Fideum launched in November 2021, though its founding team brings earlier experience in blockchain and fintech. The company initially built non-custodial consumer wallets and grew a retail user base of more than 80,000 users. In 2023, it made a deliberate pivot toward institutional B2B clients, a shift that the company has said brought it to profitability. That transition — from retail wallet provider to institutional infrastructure supplier — defines Fideum's current identity and product roadmap.
Platform Architecture
Fideum consolidates four core institutional functions into one regulated product surface, accessible through consistent REST and WebSocket APIs, typed SDKs, and an administrative dashboard with audit trails and IFRS-aligned reporting.
Custody and Wallets. Fideum employs multi-party computation (MPC) wallet infrastructure with segregated and omnibus custody models, policy engines, and granular signing controls. HSM-backed key management runs with 24/7 monitoring and SOC-grade operational standards. Institutions can configure signature policies, transaction limits, and approval workflows through one interface, rather than managing multiple custody providers.
Trading and Execution. The platform aggregates liquidity from exchanges, market makers, and OTC desks with smart routing, pre-trade controls, and deterministic settlement. This is designed to reduce slippage on institutional-sized orders while maintaining a clean compliance audit trail for each execution.
Staking and Asset Management. Institutions can track positions, manage lifecycle events, and produce consolidated reporting across chains and asset classes from a single account structure. This removes the operational overhead of managing staking directly with individual validators or protocols.
Settlement and Stablecoin Orchestration. Fideum supports multi-chain stablecoin issuance, redemption, and treasury workflows with rules-based settlement orchestration. This targets cross-border payment use cases where stablecoin rails offer speed and cost advantages over correspondent banking.
Compliance and Regulatory Technology
Fideum's compliance layer is not a bolt-on; it is designed as an integrated component of the platform. The stack includes KYC and KYB workflows, Travel Rule compliance, AML transaction monitoring, sanctions and PEP screening, risk scoring, and case management. Regulatory reporting is automated to reduce manual burden for compliance teams at regulated institutions.
The platform is aligned with the EU's MiCA framework. Fideum holds Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) registrations in Lithuania, Canada, Australia, and El Salvador, and has been pursuing an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license. The infrastructure is hosted on AWS in Frankfurt, Germany, with VPC isolation and KMS encryption.
Embedded Crypto and Payments
Beyond its core institutional platform, Fideum offers embedded crypto capabilities for partners who want to add digital asset functionality to their own products without building the infrastructure from scratch. This includes white-label wallet technology, partner API integrations, and Crypto-as-a-Service offerings. On the payments side, the platform supports cross-border settlement using stablecoin rails, treasury management tools, and international settlement workflows — positioning Fideum as a back-end layer for fintech remittance products.
FI Token
Fideum operates a native utility token, FI, with a capped supply of four billion tokens. The token is available on ERC-20 (Ethereum) and BEP-20 (BNB Chain) standards, with Solana integration included in the company's multi-chain expansion roadmap. FI is primarily retail-facing and serves three functions within the Fideum ecosystem: staking rewards that unlock higher participation tiers and launchpad allocations, cashback on the Fideum card product, and launchpad participation for token offerings hosted on the platform. The token is distinct from the institutional SaaS business, serving as a community and incentive layer rather than a governance or protocol token.
Team
Fideum's leadership team combines regulatory and blockchain expertise. CEO and co-founder Anastasija Plotnikova brings a background in EU law enforcement and regulatory compliance, and was a foundational member of Aave. Co-founder Darren Franceschini has been active in the crypto industry since 2013 and leads blockchain strategy. Co-founder Kelghe D'Cruz, who founded an online education platform and established mining operations, leads business growth. CTO Dmitrij Radin brings machine learning and blockchain engineering expertise. The operations and compliance functions are led by Eimante Rimasauskaite, with nine years of banking and fintech compliance experience, and COO Vilius Gudavicius, with over a decade in European business management.
Partnerships and Milestones
Fideum won the Mastercard Lighthouse FINITIV Program Grand Finale at Slush 2023, an outcome that opened banking relationships with institutions including SEB and Danske Bank and positioned Mastercard Europe as a strategic backer. That recognition validated Fideum's regulatory positioning and institutional-grade architecture at a critical stage.
In June 2025, Valereum PLC (listed on the Aquis Stock Exchange as VLRM) made a EUR 1.7 million strategic investment commitment in Fideum, with proceeds directed toward accelerating infrastructure onboarding, expanding regulatory licensing, and scaling B2B and SaaS operations across Europe, Latin America, Canada, and Australia. The same month, Fideum announced a partnership with FLUIDEFI, a Canadian fintech supplying institutional-grade DeFi data and white-label infrastructure, to deepen the platform's analytics and on-chain data capabilities. In September 2025, a further partnership with Blubird extended Fideum's reach into Web3 payments and asset management.
The broader partner ecosystem includes liquidity and trading counterparties (Kraken, B2C2), custody infrastructure (Fireblocks, Blockdaemon), stablecoin rails (Circle), compliance tooling (Sumsub), and blockchain networks (Ripple, Avalanche, Cardano, NEAR, Litecoin, TRON), alongside banking partners Bankera, ClearJunction, AlchemyPay, AlphaPay, and LPB Bank.
Geographic Expansion
Fideum's geographic roadmap targets regulated markets across multiple regions: the United States, Latin America, India, the UAE, and ASEAN markets. VASP registrations in four jurisdictions provide a foundation for this expansion, with the EMI license pursuit expected to support European payment service activity.
Solana Ecosystem
Fideum's connection to Solana is through its multi-chain expansion strategy. The company's roadmap included Solana integration for the FI token and its staking infrastructure as part of a broader effort to extend the platform's chain support beyond its initial Ethereum and BNB Chain base. The institutional infrastructure layer is chain-agnostic in design, with Solana positioned as one of the target networks alongside the EVM-compatible chains already supported.
