About

Drops

Drops is a multi-chain airdrop eligibility checker that lets anyone scan a crypto wallet address for unclaimed token distributions across more than 40 networks including Solana without ever connecting a wallet.

Origins and Background

Drops launched in 2018 as an Ethereum-focused wallet monitor. Its initial scope was narrow: track a single address on one network and alert the owner when eligible for a token distribution. The service expanded significantly over the following years. By June 2024, it had rebuilt its airdrop database into a continuously updated multi-chain tracker covering more than 40 networks and 406 plus active and historical airdrops. The EU-founded team operates with a stated privacy-first policy, proxying all eligibility checks so that wallet addresses are never linked to one another and user data is not shared with third parties.

How It Works

The core workflow is deliberately frictionless. A user visits drops.bot, pastes any wallet address and the platform immediately scans that address against its airdrop database. No wallet connection, browser extension, or account creation is required for a basic scan. Results display eligibility status for each tracked airdrop along with claim links for confirmed distributions. For users who want continuous coverage, Drops offers optional Telegram alerts when a wallet becomes eligible for new airdrops, a bulk checker for multiple wallet addresses in a single session, a points tracker dashboard for protocol points programs, and a HyperEVM tracker for Hyperliquid ecosystem participants.

Solana Coverage

On Solana specifically, Drops tracks more than 76 airdrops covering both live and upcoming distributions across DeFi protocols, DEXs, liquid staking projects, and other ecosystem applications. The Solana checker follows the same no-connection model: paste a Solana wallet address and receive an instant eligibility summary. Telegram alerts can be configured to fire whenever a tracked Solana address meets criteria for a new distribution.

Supported Networks

Beyond Solana, the platform covers Ethereum and its major Layer 2 networks including Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Polygon, along with Cosmos, Sui, Aptos, Bitcoin, Starknet, and TON. The total count of supported networks exceeds 40, reflecting ongoing additions as new ecosystems mature and begin distributing tokens to early participants.

Pricing Model

Drops operates on a freemium basis. Basic scanning is free and requires no account. Revealing the full details of confirmed eligibility including claim amounts, claim links, and step-by-step instructions requires a one-time per-wallet payment starting at approximately five dollars, scaling with the estimated value of eligible airdrops. For users who want continuous monitoring across multiple addresses, a Premium subscription unlocks multi-wallet management and unlimited Telegram alerts. Payments are accepted in ETH and other cryptocurrencies with no credit card required.

Developer Access

Drops exposes an airdrop data API aimed at developers who want to integrate eligibility checking into their own products. The API provides programmatic access to the same airdrop database the consumer tool uses, allowing third-party integrations without requiring teams to maintain their own tracking infrastructure.

Security Approach

The platform operates on read-only access and address isolation. Scans use only public blockchain addresses with no transaction signing, no private key exposure, and no on-chain approval at any stage. Airdrop claim links listed on the platform are reviewed to filter out phishing attempts and fraudulent distributions. Addresses entered across separate sessions are not correlated in the platform data, reducing fingerprinting risk for users managing multiple pseudonymous wallets. NFT detection and token price alerts are available as additional features on premium tiers.

Current Status

As of mid-2026, drops.bot remains an active service. The airdrop database is updated continuously and the platform surfaces both currently claimable distributions and upcoming airdrops with confirmed or anticipated criteria. The GitHub organization at github.com/dropsdotbot hosts the project public repository, with the live web product reflecting the primary development activity.
