Superteam Demo Day: Crypto Fantasy League (Jonas Aditya Sunandar)

That's exactly the vision behind Crypto Fantasy League (CFL), a Solana-based platform that's turning heads at Breakpoint 2025's Superteam Demo Day with impressive early traction: 20,000 registered users and $200,000 in annualized revenue. ... Jonas Aditya Sunandar took the stage at Breakpoint 2025 to present Crypto Fantasy League, a platform that reimagines cryptocurrency trading as a competitive, social game.

About

Crypto Fantasy League

Crypto Fantasy League (CFL) is a skill-based competitive trading platform built on Solana that applies fantasy sports mechanics to live cryptocurrency markets, letting players compete on token selection and strategy rather than capital size or leverage.

What It Is

CFL lets players build squads of up to five real crypto tokens and enter competitive matches where rankings are determined entirely by those tokens' real-time price performance. The appeal is that winning requires market intuition and drafting skill — not a large bankroll. Entry fees and payouts are transparent, matches settle on-chain, and prizes flow directly to player wallets.

The platform is accessible via the official app at cfl.fun/home and is backed by the Colosseum Accelerator (Cohort 3), the program associated with the Solana Foundation's flagship hackathon series.

Core Game Modes

CFL offers five distinct competition formats:

King of the Hill (KOTH) is a 1v1 head-to-head format where two players pit their token squads against each other in a single match. It rewards consistent winning streaks through a trophy and leaderboard system.

Rush is a short-duration format with growing prize pools. Daily Rush competitions run on a rolling basis and are designed for quick engagement — players can enter and collect results within a single session.

Tournament pits up to 25 players against each other in staked SOL competitions, where the prize pool scales with participation.

Winner Takes All is a high-stakes single match where the top-performing squad claims the entire prize pool.

Alpha Dome is the platform's customizable tournament builder. Players can create their own private or public competitions, setting their own entry fees, game rules, and payout structures. This mode targets communities and influencers who want to run branded contests.

Gameplay Mechanics

Players choose a formation before drafting — ranging from conservative to aggressive — which affects risk weighting across their token squad. Long and short strategies are both supported, meaning a player can bet on a token's price declining and still earn points if correct.

Price data is sourced from the Pyth Network price oracle, which provides real-time feeds from multiple data providers. This ensures match results are transparent and manipulation-resistant, since no single centralized data source controls outcomes.

Matches settle on-chain through a combination of Solana's base layer and MagicBlock, an ephemeral rollup layer purpose-built for on-chain gaming that enables low-latency, real-time state updates without sacrificing Solana's security guarantees.

A persistent reward layer runs in parallel: daily and weekly leaderboards track performance across all game modes, with prizes distributed to the top 30 players each Monday. A missions section surfaces additional earning opportunities.

CFL Token

The CFL token is the platform's native asset with a fixed maximum supply of 100 billion tokens. Its design follows a non-inflationary model — no new tokens are minted after launch. A portion of trading fees generated on the platform is used to buy back CFL tokens, reducing circulating supply over time.

Token utility spans several functions: paying contest entry fees, receiving winnings, providing liquidity, staking, and participating in DAO governance. CFL is tradable on Solana-native decentralized exchanges.

Recognition and History

CFL was founded in March 2025 and quickly accumulated a track record in Solana's competitive hackathon circuit:

  • 1st Place at the Colosseum Breakout Hackathon (Gaming Track)
  • Honorary Award at the Solana Mobile Hackathon
  • 2nd Place at the SonicSVM Mobius Hackathon (Attention Capital Market Track)
  • 3rd Place at Superteam Vietnam's Solana Summer Camp

These placements secured the project's entry into the Colosseum Accelerator, providing mentorship and visibility within the Solana ecosystem.

Solana Ecosystem Fit

CFL targets a gap between pure DeFi speculation and casual gaming. By using real price data rather than synthetic or simulated markets, it gives on-chain actions real stakes without requiring players to risk capital on leveraged positions. The integration of MagicBlock's real-time execution layer allows responsive, game-quality interactions while keeping settlement fully on-chain.

The platform connects active community members — traders, gamers, and content creators — through Alpha Dome's self-serve tournament tools, positioning CFL as infrastructure for crypto-native competitive communities rather than just a single game.
