Kamino Finance confirmed $100M in vault deposits from Binance Wallet users, nine days after the DeFi tab integration launched on Solana with $300K in rewards.

Kamino Finance KMNO$0.025-2.8% announced September 12 that $100M has been deposited into its vaults through Binance Wallet, nine days after the integration went live on Binance Wallet's DeFi tab.

"Over $100M has now been deposited into Kamino Vaults through @BinanceWallet," the protocol posted at 15:11 UTC. "Enabling access to Solana's credit markets for millions of users worldwide."

The milestone caps a rapid accumulation that started immediately after the September 3 launch. Within the first 24 hours, Kamino reported $50M flowing in from Binance Wallet users; the second $50M came over the following eight days as the initial rewards campaign continued and organic deposits held.

From $50M in Hours to $100M in Nine Days

The deposit trajectory was front-loaded. Half the total arrived on launch day, driven in part by Binance Wallet's active marketing of the "Earn powered by Kamino" integration to its user base. The second half accumulated more steadily, suggesting some portion of the early deposits were opportunistic reward-seekers, while a portion kept funds in after evaluating the underlying yield.

The integration launched with $300,000 in boosted rewards across two pools: a RockawayX USDC vault and a Sentora PYUSD vault, each seeded with $150,000. A minimum deposit of $100 per pool was required to qualify for reward distributions. As we covered when the partnership launched, the integration placed Kamino's yield markets directly inside Binance Wallet's DeFi tab, eliminating the need for Binance Wallet users to bridge to a separate on-chain wallet or navigate to Kamino's own interface.

What $100M Means Against Kamino's Scale

Kamino is Solana's largest lending protocol by total value locked, with approximately $1.43B in TVL per DeFiLlama, up 26% over the past 30 days. Kamino's vaults specifically hold $579.55M in total deposits across all channels, according to the protocol's app, with the Binance Wallet integration's $100M accounting for nearly one-sixth of that vault total across nine days.

The distribution partnership matters beyond the dollar figure alone. Binance Wallet draws users who already hold assets on Binance (stablecoins, primarily) and who have not historically interacted with Solana DeFi. Many of those depositors would not have arrived through Kamino's own interface or organic search. The $100M came from a user segment Kamino reached through Binance's existing account base, not through direct protocol marketing.

How Binance Wallet Routes Deposits Into Kamino Vaults

Binance Wallet's DeFi tab gives users a curated list of onchain yield opportunities accessible without leaving the wallet interface. Deposits flow on-chain to Kamino's smart contracts; Kamino's vault layer handles allocation across its curated lending markets and manages the position automatically. For the user, the experience resembles an exchange earn product, but the funds sit in Kamino's onchain vaults rather than on a centralized book.

The two featured vaults, both stablecoin-denominated, reduce volatility risk for users who are newer to onchain DeFi and accustomed to exchange earn rates. Kamino's curated vault model assigns specialist curators to manage risk parameters for each pool, rather than leaving that judgment to individual depositors.

Kamino's Pattern of Growing Through Partnerships

The Binance Wallet result follows a pattern Kamino has repeated across several partnership channels this year. Re Finance's reUSD lending market on Kamino crossed $20M within eight days of its launch in August, as we covered at the time. HastraFi's AUTO token brought the first permissionless auto loan RWA to Kamino in July, targeting a credit segment the protocol had not previously served. Each expansion layered new capital into the same underlying lending infrastructure.

The Binance Wallet channel produced the largest single-source inflow in that pattern. $100M from one wallet integration in nine days is a concrete case for the thesis that removing interface friction (embedding Kamino's yield directly where users already hold assets) is a more effective acquisition channel than direct protocol marketing.

Whether the deposits hold past the 30-day rewards window is the open question. The initial cohort included reward-motivated depositors who may exit when incentives end. The steadier pace of the second $50M, which arrived over eight days rather than one, is a better read on the organic floor than the launch spike.
