Web3 Bio

Web3.bio aggregates identity data from ENS, Farcaster, Lens, Basenames, Linea Name Service, and Solana Name Service into a unified Identity Graph. The platform maps wallet addresses and domain names to link-in-bio profile pages displaying social connections, verified credentials, and onchain activity. A graph visualization feature shows cross-platform connections between Web3 and Web2 identities.

About

Web3.bio

Web3.bio is an identity search engine and link-in-bio profile platform developed by Mask Network, launched in August 2021. It aggregates fragmented Web3 identities — spread across blockchain naming services, decentralized social protocols, and on-chain reputation systems — into a single unified view, making it possible to discover, explore, and present a complete Web3 identity from one URL.

The Problem Web3.bio Solves

Web3 identity is inherently fragmented. A single person may hold an ENS name, a Farcaster handle, a Lens profile, a Basename on Base, a Solana Name Service domain, and multiple wallet addresses — none of which are automatically linked. Searching for someone by their Ethereum address turns up no social context; searching by their Farcaster handle surfaces no wallet holdings. Web3.bio resolves this fragmentation by indexing across naming systems and social protocols and drawing connections between them, presenting the results as an interactive Identity Graph.

How It Works

Web3.bio's core mechanism is its Identity Graph: a cross-protocol resolver that links ENS domains, Farcaster accounts, Lens profiles, Basenames, Linea Name Service entries, and [[PROJECT:336]] (Solana Name Service) addresses together when they share verifiable ownership signals. When a user searches any supported identifier — a wallet address, a .eth name, a Farcaster username, or a Solana domain — the platform returns not just that single record but the full web of connected identities, visualized as a navigable graph.

On top of that identity data layer, Web3.bio generates a public profile page for each resolved identity. These link-in-bio pages display NFT holdings, on-chain activity, credentials, and social content pulled from the protocols the user participates in.

Key Features

Identity Search and Graph Visualization. The search interface accepts any supported handle or address and returns all connected identities across protocols. A visual graph mode maps relationships between identities, showing which accounts share verified ownership and how they connect across platforms.

Link-in-Bio Profiles. Each resolved identity gets a public profile page. These pages aggregate NFT holdings, on-chain activity, POAP attendance, trading data (including copy-trading capability), Farcaster feed posts, and Polymarket positions — giving a single comprehensive view of an address's Web3 footprint. Tipping is supported directly from profile pages.

Credentials and Verified Badges. As of 2025, Web3.bio integrates nine major credential data sources covering more than 10 million records. The credential system pulls from Dentity, Justaname, Binance KYC, Coinbase KYC, and the Human Passport reputation score to surface verification badges on profiles. Verified accounts are highlighted; known compromised accounts receive warnings.

Domain Availability Checker. Users can enter keywords to see which Web3 domain names across supported name services are still available for registration.

Ethereum Follow Protocol (EFP) Integration. Users can follow ENS addresses directly from Web3.bio profiles using the Ethereum Follow Protocol, bringing a social graph layer to identity discovery.

POAP Visualization. The platform surfaces shared POAP event attendance between ENS contacts, enabling users to discover common real-world and on-chain event connections within their network.

Developer Tooling

Web3.bio maintains an open-source developer ecosystem under the MIT license on GitHub.

The Web3 Profile API (web3bio-profile-api) is a multi-chain identity and domain resolver supporting Ethereum, the ENS ecosystem, Farcaster, Lens, and Solana. It is written in TypeScript and designed for integration into third-party applications that need to resolve Web3 identities programmatically. As of February 2025, the team reported a 40% improvement in Profile API performance and reliability.

The Profile Kit (web3bio-profile-kit) is a lightweight React hooks library that wraps the Profile API, allowing frontend developers to embed Web3 profile data into their own applications with minimal boilerplate.

An Agent Skills package exposes Web3.bio's identity resolution, naming service lookups, credential data, and avatar APIs to AI agents, positioning the platform as an identity data source for autonomous software.

A Credentials API endpoint, launched in late 2025, gives developers programmatic access to the credential and verification data aggregated by the platform.

A Web3 Gravatar API — an avatar resolution service designed to work similarly to the classic Gravatar service but sourced from on-chain identity data — was in active testing as of early 2025.

Scale and Data Coverage

As of February 2025, the platform's identity database covered 3.47 million ENS names, 614,000 Basenames, and 568,000 Linea Name Service entries. The credentials layer indexed more than 10 million records across nine major data sources, and over one million Web2 social accounts were queryable through the identity graph.

Partnerships and Integrations

In April 2025, Web3.bio announced a strategic partnership with Sign, a decentralized identity protocol. The integration adds Sign's verification capabilities — including NFC passport scanning, Plaid banking confirmation, and exchange KYC status from Binance and Coinbase — to Web3.bio's credential layer. The partnership also enables identity-based token distributions, allowing projects to conduct airdrops gated on verifiable credentials such as nationality or verified age, without exposing the underlying private data.

Additional 2025 integrations expanded the platform's reach into the Farcaster mini-app ecosystem, the decentralized social platform Phi, developer community V2EX, and the XMTP messaging protocol.

Solana Ecosystem Fit

Web3.bio includes [[PROJECT:336]] (Solana Name Service) as a supported naming system within its identity graph. SNS domains resolve through the same search interface and appear in Identity Graph visualizations alongside ENS, Farcaster, and other supported protocols. This makes Web3.bio one of the cross-chain identity tools that bridges Solana naming infrastructure with the broader multi-chain identity layer, enabling Solana users to surface their SNS domains alongside their other Web3 identities in a single searchable profile.

Background

Web3.bio is a product of Mask Network, the team behind the browser extension that brought Web3 functionality to Twitter and other Web2 social platforms. The identity tool launched in August 2021 and has expanded from a narrow ENS-focused profile page service into a multi-protocol identity aggregator covering social, naming, credential, and reputation layers across Ethereum, Base, Linea, and Solana.
