Stableyard

Stableyard is a payments infrastructure platform with unified APIs for stablecoin payments across multiple blockchains. It includes Money Accounts for identity and routing, X402+ for agent‑driven payment flows over HTTP, a merchant acceptance layer, and developer SDKs. Users can set policies, receive real‑time events, and settle across chains without new merchant hardware.

About

Stableyard

Stableyard is a programmable stablecoin payment infrastructure layer founded in mid-2025. Built for merchants, fintechs, and developers who want to accept stablecoins without off-ramping first, the platform covers the full payment lifecycle — acceptance, routing, settlement, and reconciliation — through a single integration point.

What It Does

The core promise is simple: integrate once, accept stablecoins from any wallet on any supported chain, settle in the currency of your choice. Stableyard charges a flat 1% transaction fee and routes payments across eight or more blockchains, including Solana, Ethereum, Polygon, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Tron, and Movement. Settlement lands either as on-chain holdings in the merchant's own wallet or as fiat via banking partners operating across 30+ jurisdictions.

The platform is explicitly built for crypto-native businesses that want a commerce layer that treats stablecoins as the native unit — not a conversion step.

How Payments Flow

Payment initiation happens through whichever surface fits the merchant's context: a POS terminal, a QR code, an embeddable checkout widget, or a direct API call. From there, the payment routes through Stableyard's stablecoin layer for settlement, which handles fast cross-chain finality. Programmable controls — spending limits, multi-sig approvals, automated splits, and one-click refunds — are enforced in code rather than managed manually by the merchant.

Because there are no credit card networks involved, there are no chargebacks. Refunds are one-click operations that merchants initiate directly.

Self-Custody Model

A core design principle is that merchants control their own keys. Stableyard does not hold customer funds on behalf of businesses. Idle funds can optionally generate yield via Aave integration on certain chains, keeping capital productive while awaiting the next disbursement cycle.

Supported Stablecoins and Tokens

The platform accepts USDC, USDT, PYUSD, and USDCx. On Solana, USDC transfers use the native TransferChecked instruction set, preserving composability with existing Solana wallets such as Phantom and other SPL-compatible wallets. Currency conversion is available across 60+ fiat currencies through Stableyard's banking network.

Products

Stablecoin Checkout — A payment acceptance layer available as an embeddable JavaScript widget, a hosted checkout page, or a REST API for deeper integrations. Targets e-commerce, SaaS subscriptions, marketplaces, and cross-border commerce.

In-Person Payments — POS and QR code integration for physical retail environments, hospitality, and service businesses. Customers scan a QR code and pay from any supported wallet on any chain.

Dope Pay — A consumer-facing payment app enabling QR code scanning and Tap-to-Pay stablecoin transactions. Dope Pay's waitlist opened in 2026, positioning it as the retail companion to the business-facing merchant stack.

Stablecoin Deposits — A fiat-to-stablecoin onramp for merchants and users who want to fund wallets without navigating centralized exchanges.

Treasury Management — Tools for businesses holding stablecoin balances to manage liquidity, yield, and disbursements across chains.

Agentic Payments — Infrastructure for AI agent payment flows, addressing the emerging need for autonomous software to pay for APIs and services without human intervention.

x402plus Protocol

Stableyard also maintains x402plus, an open-source extension of the HTTP 402 "Payment Required" protocol for cross-chain API monetization. x402plus introduces an intent-based payment scheme alongside traditional on-chain exact payments. Developers and AI agents prefund a GRID ID — a non-custodial Safe vault — with USDC once, then sign off-chain intents for subsequent API calls without paying gas on each request. Stableyard's infrastructure handles cross-chain settlement in the background.

x402plus supports Solana mainnet and devnet alongside EVM chains, using the TransferChecked instruction for USDC on Solana. Supported wallets include Phantom and Nightly. The protocol targets API providers who want to monetize programmatic access without requiring user accounts, billing systems, or API keys.

Compliance Infrastructure

Stableyard bundles compliance tooling directly into the payment layer: KYC verification, real-time KYT (Know Your Transaction) monitoring, and sanctions screening. This positions the platform for regulated markets and enterprise buyers who cannot use unscreened stablecoin flows. Stablecoin issuers Circle and Tether are listed as trusted partners.

Team and Funding

Stableyard was co-founded by Avinash and Mitesh. In May 2026, Movement Labs made a strategic investment in Stableyard, citing the founders' focus on making money work better for real people rather than pursuing crypto adoption as an end in itself. Movement's involvement extends beyond capital — the partnership includes merchant introductions, ecosystem connections, and integration of Stableyard's checkout as a payment surface across Movement-native applications.

Solana Ecosystem Fit

Solana is one of the primary chains Stableyard supports for both merchant checkout and developer API payments via x402plus. The platform's emphasis on fast, low-cost settlement aligns with Solana's throughput characteristics. By accepting USDC and USDT on Solana and routing settlement through native Solana transfers, Stableyard gives Solana-native merchants and developers a payment stack that avoids EVM bridging overhead while retaining multi-chain flexibility for customers on other networks.

Stableyard launched in mid-2025 and was accepting early access applications as of mid-2026, with merchants reportedly processing live payments within hours of integration.
