SafePal Hardware Wallets
SafePal Hardware Wallets provide air-gapped cold storage solutions for cryptocurrency management through offline signing mechanisms and EAL 5+ or EAL 6+ secure element protection. The product line includes multiple models with varying specifications, supporting QR code-based transaction signing, self-destruct mechanisms upon tampering detection, and true random number generation for private key security. Users pair hardware devices with the SafePal mobile app for asset management across multiple blockchain networks without USB, Bluetooth, WiFi, or NFC connections.
SafePal App
SafePal App implements a self-custodial mobile wallet architecture for iOS and Android platforms, enabling cryptocurrency storage, DeFi protocol interactions, and NFT management. The application supports software wallet creation with mnemonic phrase backup, hardware wallet pairing via QR codes, cross-chain asset swaps through integrated DEX aggregators, and staking services without requiring third-party dApp connections. Users maintain local private key control with integration to various blockchain networks and decentralized applications.
SafePal
SafePal is a cryptocurrency wallet platform offering non-custodial hardware and software solutions for managing digital assets across 200+ blockchains. Founded in 2018 by CEO Veronica Wong and incubated through Binance Labs, it was the first hardware wallet portfolio backed by Binance Labs.
SafePal produces three hardware wallet models, all using CC EAL6+ certified secure element chips. The S1 (49.99 USD) and S1 Pro (89.99 USD) are fully air-gapped devices that sign transactions via QR code exchange only, with no Bluetooth, WiFi, or NFC connection. The X1 (69.99 USD) is an open-source Bluetooth-enabled wallet targeting users who prefer convenience over maximum air-gap isolation. SafePal also offers the Cypher metal seed phrase backup device for 12-, 18-, or 24-word recovery phrases.
The software suite includes the SafePal App (iOS and Android, v4.11.6) with DeFi DApp integration, NFT support, in-app swaps, and SafePal Earn for staking assets including SOL; a browser extension for Chrome, Edge, and Firefox; and SafePal Mini, a Telegram mini-app. Supported networks include Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, Polygon, and TON among others. DeFi integrations include Uniswap, 1inch, PancakeSwap, Compound, Perpetual Protocol, and Polymarket.
SFP is the native BEP-20 utility token with a 500 million cap. It is used for staking rewards and ecosystem airdrops, boosting APY rates in Earn pools, swapping for gas fee tokens across chains, and paying for project listing requests within the wallet.
SafePal committed 3 million USD to a Solana Builder Grant program running through December 31, 2026. The grant offers up to 30,000 SafePal X1 hardware wallets (2 million USD in device sponsorships worth 70,000 to 100,000 USD per project) and 1 million USD in advertising exposure for approximately 100 Solana projects. Solana-based tokens are consistently among the top-traded assets by SafePal users weekly, and SOL staking is available natively within SafePal Earn.
