Padre

Padre is a multi-chain memecoin trading terminal built for speed, precision, and professional-grade execution across Solana, Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Base. Marketed under the tagline "Your Edge in Memecoin Trading," it competes directly with Telegram-based trading bots and browser terminals by combining sub-300ms trade execution with an advanced feature set — limit orders, copy trading, anti-MEV protection, and social sentiment tracking — through a unified web interface. In October 2025, Pump.fun acquired Padre and rebranded it as Terminal, though the platform continues to operate at padre.gg.

What Problem It Solves

Memecoin markets move in seconds. A token that launches on Pump.fun or Raydium can reach peak price within minutes, making execution speed the primary determinant of profit for active traders. Most retail participants using standard DEX interfaces face delays from slow RPC routing, MEV sandwich attacks, and the friction of switching between tools on different chains. Padre was built to eliminate those bottlenecks: a single terminal handles sniper entries, timed exits, copy trading, and portfolio tracking across four chains without requiring the user to leave the interface.

Core Mechanism

Padre routes transactions through an infrastructure layer engineered at the validator level on Solana, simulating thousands of trade scenarios pre-execution to avoid reverts and sandwich attacks. This design achieves consistent execution around 300ms — which the team positions as roughly 200ms faster than competing platforms on chains like Base. On Solana specifically, "Inferno Mode" offers an optimized transaction routing path for time-critical entries.

The terminal operates as a non-custodial platform: private keys are encrypted with user-generated passwords and are never stored or accessible by Padre's team. Two-factor authentication is enforced as a second layer of account protection.

Key Features

Order types and exit strategies: The platform supports market orders, limit orders, take-profit targets, stop-loss triggers, trailing stop losses (introduced in February 2025), and position-based limit orders. Auto-exit strategies let traders set compound exit conditions without manual monitoring.

Sniper tools: Dedicated PumpFun and Raydium sniper integrations allow traders to enter new token launches at the earliest available slot. These are distinct tools from standard limit orders, targeting the token creation transaction itself.

Copy trading: Users can track and mirror wallets across all four supported chains. The interface includes advanced copy-trader tracking with hotkey search and multi-wallet display on price charts, enabling a trader to monitor multiple alpha wallets simultaneously.

Anti-MEV protection: Padre routes transactions to avoid MEV sandwich bots that front-run large buys or back-run large sells on-chain. This is particularly relevant for Solana, where bot activity around new launches is high.

Jeetgrids: A proprietary analytics layer that visualizes early holder movement — identifying when early buyers (commonly called "jeets" in memecoin culture) begin distributing. This gives traders a behavioral signal before price impact materializes.

Social sentiment tracking: The platform integrates data on coin mentions across large private groups, providing a signal layer that sits alongside on-chain metrics. Specific group sources are not publicly disclosed.

Cashback rewards: Padre offers up to 35% cashback on trading fees — described as the highest tier in the market with no tiered volume requirements — making it cost-competitive for high-frequency traders.

Customizable interface: Trading views, PNL displays, and layout are user-configurable. The portfolio view aggregates positions across all supported chains.

Supported Chains and Assets

Padre supports trading across:

  • Solana — primary focus; includes Raydium and PumpFun DEX liquidity
  • Ethereum — including Ethervista integrations
  • BNB Chain (BSC)
  • Base

The platform does not restrict tradeable assets by whitelist — any token with sufficient on-chain liquidity across the supported DEXes is accessible. The memecoin segment is the primary use case, but the tooling is general enough for any token on these chains.

Native Token

Padre launched a native token, $PADRE, trading on Uniswap V2 on Ethereum. In January 2025, the team announced a revenue-sharing program for token holders based on holdings and trading volume. Following the Pump.fun acquisition in October 2025, $PADRE lost all utility on the platform. Pump.fun took a snapshot on October 24, 2025, and offered existing holders the ability to submit Solana wallet addresses to claim $PUMP tokens in lieu of $PADRE — with a deadline of December 30, 2025. The $PADRE token dropped approximately 78–80% in value immediately after the acquisition was announced, and holders publicly criticized the outcome as contradicting prior commitments around buybacks and revenue sharing.

Metrics and Market Position

By late October 2025, Padre had processed over $2.7 billion in cumulative trading volume. According to Dune Analytics data cited at the time of acquisition, the platform held approximately 4–5% of Solana's trading bot market share, placing it among the leading competitors in that segment — though well behind the market leader, Axiom.

Team and History

Padre describes itself as "built by traders for traders." Team members cited in promotional materials came from institutions including Jump Trading, Nvidia, Goldman Sachs, Dropbox, and Ferrari — a mix of high-frequency trading, engineering, and product backgrounds. The founding date is not publicly disclosed.

Acquisition by Pump.fun and Rebrand to Terminal

On October 24, 2025, Pump.fun acquired Padre in its second acquisition of 2025, following the July 2025 purchase of Kolscan, a wallet-tracking tool. The acquisition price was not disclosed. Pump.fun co-founder Alon Cohen stated that trading terminals "capture most of the volume in the crypto ecosystem," framing the acquisition as a vertical integration play — extending Pump.fun's reach from token launching (via the core launchpad and PumpSwap, launched March 2025) into the professional trading layer.

Following the acquisition, Padre rebranded as Terminal and continues to operate at padre.gg and trade.padre.gg. The documentation at docs.padre.gg now presents the product as "Terminal (formerly Padre)." Pump.fun committed to continuing multi-chain support and focused post-acquisition technical development on speed improvements, data quality, and trading incentives. User accounts, positions, and API integrations were not disrupted during the transition.

Solana Ecosystem Fit

Padre entered the market at a period of intense competition among Solana-native trading bots — a category that includes Bullx, Photon, and Axiom, among others. Its differentiation rested on three pillars: execution speed via validator-level infrastructure, a multi-chain single-terminal model, and behavioral analytics (Jeetgrids, social sentiment) that go beyond pure order execution. The acquisition by Pump.fun signals that the launchpad ecosystem is moving toward vertical consolidation, with Pump.fun now controlling both the token creation layer and a significant trading interface.
