OmegaX Health is a physician-founded health technology company building AI health coaching tools and open protocol infrastructure on Solana that separates onchain settlement from offchain private health data — aiming to turn health plans, coverage liabilities, and claim payouts into programmable, auditable on-chain events.

Background and Founding

OmegaX Health was incorporated in March 2025 as OMEGAX HEALTH FZCO in the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) Free Zone. The company was founded and is led by Marino Sabijan, MD, who serves simultaneously as physician, product designer, and software builder. Sabijan's stated motivation was to address a structural problem in health technology: the tendency to bundle guidance, care, coverage, and financial settlement into undifferentiated products that obscure accountability and create systemic risk.

The company operates from Dubai with a global user focus. It is registered as a software and AI development company, not a licensed insurer — a distinction the company draws explicitly across its product documentation and terms.

Product Suite

OmegaX Health ships four interconnected products that share the underlying OmegaX Protocol for any on-chain settlement activity.

OmegaX Agent

The core consumer product is a subscription AI health coaching application priced at $36 per month, with a seven-day free trial and no credit card required at signup. The Agent connects to Apple Health, WHOOP, Garmin, Oura, Google Health Connect, and user calendars to synthesize wearable data, recovery metrics, and schedule information into adaptive daily plans covering sleep, nutrition, training, and routine.

Five specialist modules run inside the Agent: a fitness trainer, a nutritionist, a mental health journal, a doctor mode for symptom triage, and a sleep and recovery coach. The application is notable for its phone call feature — the Agent can initiate voice calls when health data signals warrant a check-in, rather than relying solely on push notifications. Plans are rewritten in real time as conditions change. The application ships on iOS, Android, macOS, and web.

OmegaX Protect

Protect is a parametric health protection product for travelers, structured as fixed-payout cover for unexpected hospital events. It explicitly is not traditional health insurance, does not cover pre-existing conditions, routine care, elective procedures, maternity, or mental health treatment.

Two SKUs are available in the founder reservation phase:

• Travel 30: 99 USDC reserve cost, maximum 250,000 USDC payout, covers 30 days
• Event 7: 39 USDC reserve cost, maximum 50,000 USDC payout, covers 7 days

Covered events include emergency room visits, accidental injury requiring treatment, sudden acute illness requiring urgent admission, emergency surgery, diagnostic imaging, medications, and ambulance transport. Claims follow a four-step guided process: enrollment, activation, claim submission, and settlement. The company targets a 72-hour decision window with USDC paid directly to the claimant's wallet, eliminating bank transfers and currency conversion.

Founder pricing locks for 24 months post-launch. As of the company's early-2025 launch phase, reservations were open but coverage was not yet active — accident coverage was described as beginning 24 hours after activation, illness coverage after seven days.

OmegaX Business

A third-party deployment tier that packages the Agent as an employer benefit, allowing organizations to offer AI health coaching to employees as a measurable wellness program.

OmegaX Protocol

The protocol layer is open Solana infrastructure for what the company calls health capital markets. The system's design principle is strict separation: settlement-critical state — capital positions, reserve balances, eligibility, liabilities, claim obligations — lives onchain, while private health data, clinical evidence review, and operational workflows remain offchain.

The public interface of the protocol includes 62 instructions and 31 accounts. Reserve rails and custody requirements are built in. An oracle and attestation system converts private evidence from claim reviews into protocol-compatible settlement signals that can trigger on-chain payouts without exposing underlying health data publicly. An SDK, @omegax/protocol-sdk at version 0.8.9, is available for external developers building on top of the infrastructure.

The protocol was available on Solana devnet for public builder integrations as of its initial documentation. The company references an Audit Review Brief in its documentation, though the full report was not published as of the time of this writing.

Token

A token with the ticker $OMEGAX launched on Gate.io in early February 2025 and trades on Raydium against SOL on Solana. The token subsequently expanded to Binance Smart Chain in March 2025. Trading volumes are low — under $400 in 24-hour volume as of mid-2025 — and the token is distinct from the company's protocol, which uses USDC for all reserve and payout transactions. OmegaX Health's own documentation and product interfaces make no reference to $OMEGAX as a functional component of the protocol or its coverage products.

Solana Ecosystem Position

OmegaX Health occupies an early and structurally distinct position in Solana's health and DeSci space. Most blockchain health projects to date have focused on health data marketplaces, fitness incentive tokens, or pharmaceutical supply chain tracking. OmegaX is attempting something different: using Solana's low transaction cost and programmability as a settlement rail for structured parametric health coverage, where the on-chain record functions as the auditable source of truth for capital position and liability.

The architecture reflects a considered constraint: the protocol does not store or process health records on-chain. Instead, it records the outputs of claim review — approved or denied, payout amount, settlement executed — while preserving health data privacy through off-chain workflows. This mirrors how parametric insurance works in traditional finance, where payout triggers on verifiable event signals rather than on full underwriting of individual health profiles.

The product is early-stage. The OmegaX Protocol is in devnet, coverage through Protect is in a pre-launch reservation phase, and no formal audit has been published. The company has a small team (effectively founder-led), no public GitHub repositories at the organization level, and no published blog content as of mid-2025. The Agent product, which can operate largely independent of the protocol, appears to be the most immediately deployable product and functions as a standalone AI coaching subscription regardless of the protocol's mainnet timeline.

The physician-builder model the company is built around — clinical judgment guiding both product design and software delivery — is a distinguishing characteristic in a sector where technical teams without clinical backgrounds frequently ship AI tools that blur diagnostic and coaching functions in ways that create regulatory and liability exposure. Whether that structural advantage translates to market adoption in both the AI coaching market and the parametric health coverage market remains an open question.
