Depasify Platform
Depasify Platform is a financial services platform that provides APIs for digital asset operations including virtual accounts, payments, fiat-crypto exchange, portfolio management, and compliance in a regulated environment.
Depasify
Depasify is a regulated, API-first financial infrastructure company that lets banks and crypto-native businesses connect to the digital asset economy through a single integration — handling exchange, custody, compliance, payments, and reporting without building each piece from scratch.
What It Is
Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Spain, Depasify positions itself as a "one-stop shop for digital assets." Its clients span two segments: traditional financial institutions that want to offer crypto-adjacent products to their customers, and Web3 startups that need regulated fiat on/off-ramps and compliance tooling to operate at scale.
The company is registered as a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) with the Bank of Spain under code D705 and operates additional legal entities through Plenifi Payments Ltd in Canada and Equals Money Plc in the UK. That regulatory footprint lets Depasify offer services that require formal licensing rather than relying on grey-area structures common in earlier crypto fintech.
Core Mechanism
Everything Depasify offers is delivered through a REST API, with support for WebSockets for real-time data and webhooks for event-driven workflows. The platform also exposes an automation layer called "Flows" — configurable pipelines triggered by events or schedules — so clients can chain compliance checks, fund movements, and notifications without building glue logic themselves.
The settlement infrastructure leans on SEPA for European fiat transfers and integrates card processing via Worldpay and Checkout.com. For crypto, Depasify provides multi-party computation (MPC) wallets described as audit-ready, alongside blockchain deposit and payout functionality across multiple networks. A four-eyes approval policy is available for payment authorization, catering to regulated entities that require dual-control over outgoing transfers.
Features and Services
For banks and financial institutions, Depasify provides:
- Virtual accounts: Segregated accounts with account mirroring, integrated with existing core-banking systems.
- Fiat-to-crypto exchange: Access to 700+ digital assets with market and limit order support.
- Portfolio management and reporting: Ledger exports in CSV and PDF, real-time accounting across crypto and fiat positions.
- KYC/KYB and AML screening: Fully managed onboarding and ongoing monitoring, covering both individuals and businesses.
For Web3 startups and fintechs, the platform offers:
- Hybrid custody marketed as "Buy now, custody later" — assets can be purchased immediately and moved into custody arrangements later.
- Stablecoin payroll: Cross-border salary disbursements settled in stablecoins.
- Fiat on/off-ramps: Integration between crypto wallets and conventional bank accounts.
- Cross-border payments gateway: Same-day settlement across more than 200 countries.
Partners listed on the Depa Finance site include Circle, Checkout.com, Worldpay, Kraken, and Ripple, indicating integrations with major stablecoin issuers and payment processors.
Scale
Depasify reports managing over 300 million euros in assets across a customer base of more than 5.4 million users, processing upward of 1.9 billion API requests per year. The Depa Finance rebrand site cites more than 14,000 payments processed daily and over $1 billion transacted annually.
Team and Funding
In January 2024, Depasify raised 2.2 million euros in a seed round led by JME Ventures and GoHub Ventures, with participation from Wayra (Telefónica's innovation hub), Actyus, and Lanai Partners.
Rebrand to Depa Finance
As of 2025, Depasify is actively transitioning to the "Depa" and "Depa Finance" branding, sharpening focus onto stablecoin-denominated B2B cross-border transactions. The legacy Depasify website and documentation remain live during the transition, and the Bank of Spain VASP registration continues to appear under the Depasify entity.
Compliance Concerns
In December 2025, FinTelegram published an analysis raising compliance concerns about Depasify's infrastructure, alleging that a significant majority of traffic to backoffice.depasify.com originated from high-risk payment gateways associated with unlicensed online gambling operators in the EU. Depasify had not publicly responded to these allegations as of mid-2026.
Solana Fit
Depasify does not market Solana-specific capabilities and maintains no on-chain programs on Solana. Its exchange layer covers 700+ digital assets, which would include SOL and likely SPL-standard tokens, but there is no dedicated Solana integration, no Solana RPC infrastructure, and no staking or DeFi tooling built around the Solana ecosystem. Its listing in the broader digital asset infrastructure category reflects coverage rather than a native Solana presence.
