Defined Launchpads

Defined Launchpads is a data terminal that monitors new token launches from third-party launchpad platforms across multiple networks in real time. The tool aggregates launch activity from over 28 launchpads across multiple chains, displaying token metadata and on-chain trading data as launches occur. Users can filter and track newly launched tokens directly from the Defined trading interface.

About

Defined

Defined is a multi-chain trading terminal and analytics platform that gives on-chain traders access to real-time token data, spot trading, perpetuals, and prediction markets through a single unified interface. Built in 2021 by CEO and Founder Mike Rowe, Defined grew out of frustration with the inaccuracy and incompleteness of existing on-chain trading tools. Rather than rely on third-party data providers, the team built their own blockchain data infrastructure — the Codex API — and used Defined as both a showcase and primary consumer of that technology.

The problem Defined was built to solve

In late 2020, on-chain token trading was still in its early stages. Available charting tools were frequently inaccurate, slow, or incomplete, and the handful of APIs providing raw blockchain data required significant engineering effort to make usable. For high-frequency traders in particular, the cost of latency is direct and measurable: a platform with two seconds of delay between a transaction confirming on-chain and appearing on a chart offers a meaningful advantage over one that takes ten seconds. Defined was built to eliminate that gap.

The Codex foundation

Every price tick, chart candle, holder count, and wallet balance displayed on Defined is sourced from the Codex API — a proprietary blockchain data platform built and operated by the same team. Codex indexes and enriches thousands of transactions per second across 80-plus networks, tracking more than 70 million tokens and 700 million wallets. TradingView powers the charting layer, while Codex handles the underlying data pipeline.

This vertical integration matters in practice. Because Defined does not rely on third-party data providers for critical infrastructure, the team can build and ship new features entirely in-house, responding directly to user demand without waiting on external API changes. Codex also supplies data to other major applications including TradingView, Coinbase, Moonpay, Uniswap, Rainbow, Magic Eden, Farcaster, and Relay.

The new Defined platform (beta)

In 2025, the team began a complete overhaul of Defined. The redesigned platform, accessible at re.defined.fi, introduces a fully modular workspace built around a concept called Boards. Boards are user-configurable canvases made up of panels — individual data or trading components that users add, remove, and resize to build the layout that suits their workflow. Panel types include token discovery, price charts, wallet tracking, trading and order management, perpetuals, prediction markets, and more.

Boards can be made public and shared with the community via personalized links. Other users can track a public board to receive updates as the creator modifies it, or save their own copy to customize independently. Defined also includes an Academy mode — an interactive tutorial embedded within the board interface — that walks new users through core concepts without leaving the platform.

Trading: spot, perpetuals, and prediction markets

Defined supports three trading categories within the same interface.

Spot token trading is executed through Relay, which manages a unified Cash Balance for each user. Deposited funds are held as USDC on Solana regardless of the originating network. Users can deposit USDC from any chain and the platform auto-converts to USDC on Solana through the deposit flow. When any token is sold, proceeds are converted to USDC on Solana and added to the Cash Balance. This architecture lets traders operate across multiple networks without managing separate bridge transactions. The standard spot trading fee is 0.75%. Defined sponsors gas fees wherever possible. Market orders, limit orders, and stop orders are all supported, with adjustable slippage settings.

Perpetuals trading is routed through Hyperliquid. Users can take long or short positions with leverage up to 20x, using both market and limit orders. The perpetuals fee is 0.025%. Funds for perp trading are kept separately from the spot Cash Balance and transferred via a dedicated deposit flow.

Prediction markets are available through Polymarket integration, aggregated via the Codex data layer, with a 0.25% fee.

Account structure and authentication

Creating a Defined account requires only an email address, Google, Apple, or X login. On signup, the platform auto-generates two custodial wallets — one EVM and one Solana — secured using Turnkey's passkey authentication infrastructure. Private keys can be exported at any time. The same wallets and Cash Balance are shared across both the web platform and the Defined mobile app, available on iOS and Android.

Scale

According to the Codex case study, Defined handles more than 500 million API requests per month and serves more than 250,000 users monthly. The platform's Telegram bot is active in more than 10,000 channels.

Solana at the center

Solana plays a structural role in how Defined works rather than being one supported chain among many. All trades — regardless of the network the token lives on — settle in USDC on Solana. Every user's Cash Balance is held in their Solana wallet. Deposits from Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, and other chains are automatically bridged to USDC on Solana through the Relay integration before they become tradeable. This makes Solana the settlement and liquidity layer for the entire platform.

Codex tracks Solana as a primary network alongside Ethereum, Hyperliquid, Arbitrum, Base, Binance Smart Chain, and more than 75 others, meaning Defined users have access to Solana token data at the same fidelity as any other supported chain.

No platform token

Defined does not have a publicly disclosed governance or utility token. The platform's referral program offers incentives through a separate referral fee structure documented in the account management section of the docs.

Where Defined fits

Defined occupies a narrow and specific position: a trading terminal designed for traders who want fast, accurate on-chain data and cross-chain execution in a single interface, without having to manage multiple tools, bridge separately, or tolerate data latency. Its modular Board system distinguishes it from both simple DEX aggregators and institutional-grade trading terminals, aiming to give individual traders a workspace they can tune precisely to their strategy. The platform's origins as a showcase for the Codex API means its data infrastructure is maintained by the same team that builds the trading interface — a tighter feedback loop than most competing products can claim.
