About

BitDelta

BitDelta is a centralized cryptocurrency exchange that launched in 2023 and has grown to serve more than two million registered users across more than 130 countries. The platform is built around the idea that every type of trader — from someone making their first crypto purchase to an active derivatives trader — should be able to operate on a single venue. Operating through legal entities registered in Romania, Poland, Croatia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines, BitDelta offers a broad range of trading products alongside institutional-grade security infrastructure.

Trading Products

BitDelta's core offering spans several trading categories. Spot trading covers more than 130 pairs, most denominated in USDT, giving users access to leading cryptocurrencies including SOL, BTC, ETH, and many mid- and small-cap tokens. The spot interface comes in two modes — Advanced and Lite — so that experienced traders can access full order books and charting while newer users see a simplified layout with a single-tap execution flow.

Derivatives trading is where BitDelta's product range expands significantly beyond a typical crypto exchange. The platform offers futures contracts across more than 370 markets, encompassing not just crypto but also forex pairs, equity indices, stocks, and commodities, all with up to 10x leverage. This positions BitDelta alongside multi-asset brokers rather than crypto-only venues.

Copy trading allows users to browse a leaderboard of verified top performers and automatically replicate their positions in real time. Users can set allocation limits and define risk parameters such as stop-loss thresholds. Alongside copy trading, BitDelta's signal bot integrates with TradingView, letting users subscribe to automated trading signals generated by other platform members and trigger orders without manual intervention.

Additional services include an OTC leverage desk for larger institutional block trades, a crypto converter for quick asset swaps without entering the order book, a launchpad for early access to new token offerings, and staking products for stablecoins and select assets with variable annual percentage rates.

SafePass

One feature that sets BitDelta apart from most exchanges is SafePass, a blockchain-backed digital inheritance tool. Users can designate beneficiaries for their exchange account holdings, creating a documented succession plan for digital assets. This addresses a long-standing gap in centralized finance where account access is typically lost with no recourse upon the account holder's death or incapacitation.

Fee Structure

Spot trading carries a flat 0.15% maker/taker fee. Futures trading is lower at 0.05% maker/taker. Users who hold at least 5,000 BDT (the platform's native token) receive a discounted spot fee rate of 0.125%. Fiat on-ramps through third-party partners such as Paybis and Onramp.Money carry variable charges ranging from 2.5% to 27.8% depending on payment method. The platform does not support fiat withdrawals; all withdrawals are crypto-only, with network fees varying by asset.

BDT Token

BDT is BitDelta's native utility token, issued on the Ethereum network as an ERC-20 asset. The total fixed supply is 2.4 billion tokens, allocated as follows: 25% to circulating supply, 20% each to user onboarding/staking rewards and marketing, 15% to governance, and 10% each to the team and research and development.

BDT's primary function is fee reduction: spot traders holding 5,000 or more BDT pay 0.125% instead of 0.15% per trade, representing a 17% discount. Token holders also gain governance rights, including the ability to vote on new token listings, protocol changes, and platform upgrades. Additional utilities include early-access allocations on the launchpad, reputation signals within the copy-trading leaderboard, and priority access to future lending and borrowing products once those services launch. Community rewards such as airdrops and loyalty incentives are also distributed in BDT.

BDT is listed on external price data platforms including CoinGecko and LBank, giving the token a degree of external liquidity beyond the native exchange.

Security and Audits

BitDelta uses Fireblocks for custody infrastructure, covering both hot and cold wallet holdings with institutional-grade insurance. The exchange publishes a security certification on CER.live, where it claims a top-five ranking among global exchanges, with biannual audits conducted through that platform.

Independent security reviews have been carried out by Hacken and HashLock, two firms that specialize in smart contract and exchange security assessments. A bug bounty program is maintained, offering up to 10,000 USDT for verified vulnerability disclosures. Two-factor authentication is enforced at login and withdrawal, and encryption is applied to user data at rest and in transit.

One notable gap in BitDelta's transparency stack is the absence of published proof of reserves documentation. The exchange does not currently provide on-chain verification of user balance backing, which is a limitation relative to exchanges that have adopted Merkle-tree or zk-proof attestations after the scrutiny that followed major exchange failures in 2022.

Team and Transparency

BitDelta has not publicly identified any founders, executives, or senior engineers as of mid-2026. Neither the official website, LinkedIn profile, nor third-party databases list named leadership. This anonymity is not unusual for exchanges registered in smaller jurisdictions, but it limits the ability to assess the team's track record. The exchange is active on its blog, regularly publishing market analysis, product updates, trading guides, and new listing announcements.

Solana Ecosystem Context

BitDelta lists SOL/USDT as a spot pair, making the exchange a tradeable venue for Solana's native token. The platform's derivatives suite also exposes traders to Solana-ecosystem price action through crypto futures markets. BitDelta's launchpad is positioned to feature new token projects, including those from the Solana ecosystem, though no specific Solana-chain offerings have been publicly announced. The BDT token itself runs on Ethereum rather than Solana, and the exchange does not appear to use Solana-based settlement or infrastructure at the protocol layer. BitDelta's relevance to the Solana ecosystem is primarily as a centralized on/off ramp and trading venue for SOL and related assets.
