Solana Launches Native Subscription Billing and Recurring Payments on Mainnet
Solana's Subscriptions & Allowances program launches on mainnet, audited by Cantina and Spearbit, with seven partners including Helius, Confirmo, and Dynamic.
Dynamic
Dynamic is a wallet infrastructure platform that gives developers a single SDK to embed wallets, authentication, and key management into any application—from consumer fintech apps to enterprise payment platforms—without building cryptographic infrastructure from scratch.
The Problem Dynamic Solves
Building wallet functionality into a new application has historically required specialist blockchain engineering: key management cryptography, multi-chain wallet connector integrations, user onboarding flows, and session handling. For companies outside the crypto-native space—fintechs, payment processors, exchanges, and banks—this represented a months-long detour before shipping a product. Dynamic condenses that stack into a drop-in SDK, letting product teams go from zero to live wallet functionality in hours rather than quarters.
How It Works
At the core of Dynamic is a unified SDK that handles three concerns together:
Authentication operates through Dynamic's own auth system or integrates with an existing one via a "Bring Your Own Auth" path. The platform supports email and SMS one-time passcodes, social logins via Google, Discord, Apple, and GitHub, WebAuthn passkeys, and traditional Web3 wallet-signature flows. Each successful authentication issues a JWT that gates application access.
Embedded wallets are provisioned at user signup without exposing seed phrases. Dynamic employs Threshold Signature Scheme Multi-Party Computation (TSS-MPC) running inside Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs), meaning the full private key never assembles in any single location—not on Dynamic's servers, not on the user's device. Users can recover access through multiple backup paths or export keys to other providers. According to the company, more than 50 percent of end users opt for an embedded wallet when it is offered alongside traditional wallet connection.
External wallet connectors aggregate over 800 wallets across chains, letting users bring existing wallets—MetaMask, Phantom, Backpack, Solflare, Ledger, and hundreds more—through the same onboarding flow. New and existing crypto users move through a unified UX.
Beyond end-user wallets, Dynamic offers server wallets for programmatic, backend-controlled signing (supporting EVM and Solana), and global wallets that travel with users across multiple applications that share the platform.
SDK Surface Area
Dynamic's SDK spans a broad range of development environments. Client-side support covers React, vanilla JavaScript, React Native, Flutter, Swift, Kotlin, and Unity. Server-side SDKs exist for Node.js, Python, Rust (beta), and Java (beta), alongside a REST API and CLI. A production readiness checklist guides teams from prototype to live.
Solana Integration
Dynamic treats Solana as a first-class chain. Its SolanaWalletConnectors module connects natively to the ecosystem's major wallets—Phantom, Backpack, Magic Eden wallet, Solflare, Exodus, and Ledger—and embedded wallets support Solana alongside EVM chains. Server wallets also cover Solana for automated backend operations.
The platform targets three primary Solana use cases: NFT marketplaces (where low transaction fees matter), DeFi protocols (where instant finality and efficient execution are required), and games (where abstracting away key management hides crypto complexity from players). Multi-chain embedded wallets combining EVM and Solana in a single instance, including inside Telegram mini apps, shipped in the 2025-2026 cycle.
Solana-native companies among Dynamic's customers include Magic Eden and Lighter. Franklin Templeton, Kraken, Western Union, Stripe, Circle, zerohash, and Ondo Finance round out a customer list that spans both institutional finance and crypto-native operators.
Security and Compliance
Dynamic holds SOC 2 Type II certification. Its key management distributes key material across multiple parties using TSS-MPC inside TEEs, so no single compromise exposes a wallet. The company runs an active bug bounty program and engages regular third-party security audits.
Background and Acquisition
Dynamic was founded in December 2021 by Itai Turbahn and Yoni Goldberg, Israeli-born MIT graduates. The company raised $21 million in total funding, with a $13.5 million Series A in December 2023 led by a16z crypto and Founders Fund.
By October 2025, Dynamic was powering over 50 million on-chain accounts. That month, Fireblocks—the institutional digital asset infrastructure company processing over $4 trillion in annual transfers for more than 2,400 businesses including BNY Mellon, Worldpay, and Galaxy—acquired Dynamic for approximately $90 million. The rationale was completing what Fireblocks described as the first "custody-to-consumer stack" in digital assets: Fireblocks brings institutional custody, treasury management, and compliance tooling; Dynamic contributes consumer-facing wallet UX, authentication, and developer experience. Dynamic's 30-person team joined Fireblocks, and existing customers continue to be supported. The Dynamic brand and docs operate under the Fireblocks umbrella, with the blog now hosted at Fireblocks' content hub.
Ecosystem Fit
For Solana developers, Dynamic reduces the friction of mainstream user onboarding by removing the assumption that every user arrives with a self-custody wallet. Applications targeting broad audiences—payments apps, gaming platforms, NFT marketplaces, DeFi frontends—can provision wallets at signup through familiar email and social flows, then enable wallet connection for users who already hold crypto. The result is a single SDK integration that serves both audiences rather than two parallel authentication paths.
