Tokenized Nebius Group stock is now tradeable on Solana. Backpack Securities listed $NBIS through the Sunrise issuance platform on August 11, confirmed by the official @solana and @sunrise accounts. Nebius carries a market capitalization of approximately $48 billion on Nasdaq and describes itself as a full-stack AI infrastructure company purpose-built for the agentic era.
The listing arrived hours before Nebius is scheduled to report Q2 2026 earnings. Results are due on August 12 at 8:00 AM ET, before Nasdaq opens. Sunrise made the timing explicit in its announcement: $NBIS will trade on Solana through the earnings print and into the weekend.
How $NBIS Trades On-Chain Through Earnings
Backpack Securities operates as a registered U.S. broker-dealer and holds real Nebius shares in custody. Each $NBIS token on Solana corresponds 1:1 to an underlying share, with holdings protected under New York's UCC Article 8 governing investment property. Token holders retain entitlement to dividends and corporate actions, and shares can be transferred to traditional brokerages via ACATS.
Sunrise handles the Solana-side logistics. Built by Wormhole Labs on the Wormhole Native Token Transfers framework, the protocol creates a single canonical token address and routes day-one liquidity across Solana trading venues. $NBIS is accessible in Backpack's wallet, Phantom, and Solflare, and trades on Solana DEXes including Jupiter and Raydium.
The result is that NBIS holders can trade through the earnings release and into the weekend without waiting for traditional markets. SPCX used the same route when it launched on SpaceX's Nasdaq IPO day in June, as did MSTR, Backpack's tokenized Strategy Inc. shares from late July.
Nebius: Full-Stack AI Infrastructure at $48B Market Cap
Nebius Group was established in July 2024 after Yandex divested its Russia-based operations. The company builds GPU clusters, cloud platforms, object storage, and developer tooling for AI workloads. Nebius counts NVIDIA among its backers and has expanded data center operations across the United States, United Kingdom, and Europe.
Revenue in Q1 2026 reached $399 million, up 684% year over year. The Q2 consensus estimate is approximately $573 million, per the same TipRanks earnings coverage, and adjusted EBITDA improved to $129.5 million in Q1 from a $53.7 million loss in the year-ago quarter. Nebius also raised its 2026 capital spending target to $20-25 billion, per company guidance ahead of tomorrow's report, and in late July disclosed a multi-year AI cloud contract with Reflection AI worth more than $1 billion.
The company also holds subsidiaries in edtech (TripleTen) and autonomous driving (Avride), and acquired Tavily, an agentic search platform, to extend its AI cloud into real-time web retrieval.
Backpack's Volume Track Record and Solana's Tokenized-Stock Market
Backpack Securities crossed $1.06 billion in monthly tokenized equity volume in July 2026, surpassing xStocksFi despite holding roughly 5% of Solana's total tokenized stock supply. SPCX alone cleared $350 million in cumulative volume after its June debut, per the same Crypto Briefing reporting, and now counts 12,155 on-chain holders as of August 11, per Solana Compass data.
The NBIS listing joins a Solana tokenized-equity market that logged $10 billion in trading volume in June and accounts for approximately 95% of global on-chain equity trading.
