J.P. Morgan Asset Management Brings Its MONY and JLTXX Tokenized Money Market Funds to Solana
J.P. Morgan Asset Management made MONY and JLTXX, its tokenized money market funds, available on Solana for qualified U.S. investors through Morgan Money.
J.P. Morgan Asset Management said on October 22, 2026 that its two tokenized money market funds, the My OnChain Net Yield Fund (MONY) and the JPMorgan OnChain Liquidity-Token Money Market Fund (JLTXX), are now available on Solana to qualified U.S. investors. Investors reach both funds through Morgan Money, the firm's trading and analytics platform for cash management. Both funds launched first on Ethereum, which makes Solana their second blockchain.
The asset manager, part of JPMorgan Chase, reported $4.8 trillion in assets under management as of September 30, 2026, according to the release. It did not say how much of either fund it expects to hold on Solana, or name any client that has subscribed there.
MONY and JLTXX are two different kinds of money market fund
MONY and JLTXX share a platform and a token format, but they are built for different buyers under different rules.
MONY is a 506(c) private placement, a type of private fund that can advertise but may only sell to verified wealthy or institutional investors. The release limits it to investors who count as both "Qualified Purchasers" and "Accredited Investors" under U.S. securities law. MONY launched on Ethereum in December 2025 seeded with $100M of JPMorgan's own capital, The Block reported at the time, with a $1M minimum and subscriptions accepted in cash or USDC. The release says J.P. Morgan was then the largest global systemically important bank to launch a tokenized money market fund on a public blockchain.
JLTXX is a U.S. registered government money market fund, the regulated product type that ordinary money funds use, and the release says it is "designed to invest to support stablecoin issuers under the GENIUS Act," the U.S. stablecoin law. In practice that means a fund a stablecoin issuer could hold as part of its reserves. J.P. Morgan launched JLTXX on Ethereum on May 13, 2026 with a $100M seed from J.P. Morgan Asset Management and participation from Anchorage Digital, according to that release. The fund holds only U.S. Treasuries and overnight repurchase agreements backed by Treasuries or cash.
JLTXX's summary prospectus sets a $1,000,000 minimum initial investment for the token class and says each token balance matches one fund share. It also states that "Neither Fund shares nor token balances are stablecoins." The prospectus supplement on file, dated August 17, 2026, predates the Solana expansion and describes Ethereum as the only blockchain available to investors. We did not find a newer supplement covering Solana at publication, and the October 22 release does not restate minimums or other terms for the Solana tokens.
How Morgan Money handles subscriptions and the official Solana mints
Morgan Money handles both directions of the trade. Qualified investors subscribe and redeem through the platform and receive token balances at their own blockchain addresses, according to the release. Paul Przybylski, Global Head of Product, Digital & Tokenized Assets at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, said in the release that "Our clients operate across more than one network, and their liquidity should too." Przybylski added that bringing the funds to Solana gives "stablecoin issuers and institutional investors access to the same funds, across the on-chain networks where they operate."
The release names the two official Solana token addresses: MONY at EToDtBM2knZ8N1BHyUq2Riq5ngWTcoD3k6qpsgf7CKYY and JLTXX at J4cTuCH6frt4AnEmKfMS2k8hsUf7K94PV62sjUJno8Cz. Those are the only two J.P. Morgan has published. Solana Compass token data shows several lookalike "JLTXX" tokens created on Pump.fun, the memecoin launchpad, including one minted on October 22, two seconds after Solana's official account posted the news. None of them has any connection to the fund.
Solana Compass token data also shows both official mints were created on September 28, 2026, about three and a half weeks before the announcement. Each has active mint and freeze authorities held by program-controlled addresses, which lets the issuer create new tokens and freeze balances, and neither has DEX liquidity. That matches a permissioned fund share that investors buy and redeem through Morgan Money, with no trading market on Solana's decentralized exchanges. The release gives no figure for assets held on Solana.
J.P. Morgan's growing footprint on Solana and the tokenized treasury market
The fund listing adds to a run of J.P. Morgan activity on the network. On October 6, 2026, the Solana Foundation announced Solana DvP, an open-source atomic settlement program built with input from J.P. Morgan, which settles an asset leg and a cash leg in one transaction. At Breakpoint 2025, J.P. Morgan's Scott Lucas discussed the bank's $50M commercial paper transaction on Solana.
MONY and JLTXX join an established field of tokenized cash funds on the network. In August 2026 we reported that Solana led all blockchains in 30-day tokenized Treasury inflows according to RWA.xyz data, with BlackRock's BUIDL and Ondo USDY$1.15+0.3%'s USDY among the named drivers, and on July 2, 2026 Spiko brought its Amundi-managed SAFO money market fund to Solana.
J.P. Morgan's stated reason for adding Solana is that its clients operate across more than one network, and JLTXX's GENIUS Act design points at stablecoin issuers in particular. The release does not name any issuer as a holder. For a Solana stablecoin issuer that wants a regulated government money fund in its reserves, the change is practical: the fund's token can now sit on the same network as the issuer's own stablecoin.
The October 22 release also lists the risks. J.P. Morgan says the funds cannot guarantee a $1.00 share value, are not insured by the FDIC or any government agency, and that blockchain use carries risks including transaction delays, security breaches, regulatory changes and network splits.
