Cypherpunk Technologies' $CYPH Tokenized Stock Lists on Solana via Backpack Securities and Sunrise

Backpack has added Cypherpunk Technologies to its tokenized equity roster on Solana. The company's stock, issued under the ticker $CYPH with token address CYPH, listed on September 18 via Sunrise, with live trading now available on Raydium around the clock.

Cypherpunk Technologies: A ZEC-Anchored Digital Asset Treasury

Cypherpunk Technologies is a privacy technology company that has structured its corporate balance sheet around accumulating Zcash (ZEC). Backpack Securities' announcement describes the company as "implementing a digital asset treasury strategy focused on Zcash $ZEC," and Raydium's listing post adds that the firm is "building a digital asset strategy anchored by Zcash and investing in privacy-enhancing technologies."

The listing brings an unusual issuer type to Solana's tokenized equity stack. Most Backpack Securities listings have been conventional operating companies: chipmakers, ETF managers, gaming publishers. Cypherpunk Technologies is primarily a ZEC treasury and mining operation, making $CYPH the first tokenized equity on the platform where the underlying business is built around a cryptocurrency.

How the $CYPH Token Works

Issuance runs through Backpack Securities' licensed brokerage infrastructure, with Sunrise handling on-chain settlement. Raydium provides the trading venue for 24/7 spot trading, the same stack Backpack and Sunrise used for Forward Industries' $FWDI listing the day before.

StonkFun Adds $CYPH as a Launch Pair

StonkFun, the Solana-based token launchpad powered by Sunrise and Backpack, announced the same day that new coins can be launched paired with $CYPH. The integration extends $CYPH's on-chain utility beyond spot trading into the speculative coin launch market.
