UTORG On-Ramp

UTORG On-Ramp is a fiat-to-crypto purchase service for consumers and a merchant integration for Web3 apps. Utorg

Utorg is a regulated crypto infrastructure company that gives payment platforms, exchanges, fintechs, and DApps a turnkey stack for moving money between fiat and digital assets — including on/off-ramps, stablecoin wallets, B2B settlement rails, and branded crypto cards — with Solana (SOL) among the assets it supports.

Background and Evolution

Founded in 2018, Utorg began as a straightforward consumer-facing on-ramp designed to let retail buyers purchase Bitcoin with a credit card. Over the following years the company shifted its primary focus to business customers, evolving into what it now calls a "crypto infrastructure for the global stablecoin economy." The platform currently operates under the brand utorg.com (the original utorg.pro domain redirects there), with a retail consumer wallet product marketed separately as Utapp. By mid-2026 the company reported 2,100+ active integrations, $2.4 billion distributed to end customers, and more than 100,000 daily transactions.

What Problem It Solves

Getting fiat money into and out of on-chain assets remains a compliance and engineering burden for most digital-asset businesses. A gaming platform that wants to let players top up in euros, a DeFi protocol that needs USDC on-ramps for non-crypto-native users, or a fintech that wants to settle cross-border invoices in stablecoins rather than via SWIFT all face the same challenges: regulatory licensing, payment-method integration, identity verification, and fraud controls. Utorg packages these into a single API and widget set that partners can embed without building the underlying compliance infrastructure themselves.

Core Products

Embedded On/Off-Ramps Utorg's flagship product is a fiat-to-crypto and crypto-to-fiat widget and API that partner platforms embed directly into their applications. It connects to 30+ local payment methods — including Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Skrill, Trustly, iDEAL, BLIK, open banking, and Brazil's PIX — across more than 130 countries, with support for 18+ fiat currencies. SOL, along with BTC, ETH, USDC, USDT, MATIC, AVAX, NEAR, TRX, LTC, DOGE, and others, sits in the supported asset list. KYC and AML checks are built into the flow rather than left to the integrating partner.

Wallet Infrastructure Utorg offers enterprise-grade stablecoin custody and transfer tooling that partners can embed into their own applications. The wallet layer is designed primarily around stablecoins and supports multiple chains, positioning itself as chain-agnostic rather than tied to any single network.

Global B2B Settlements For business-to-business payments, Utorg provides cross-border settlement rails denominated in stablecoins. The proposition is that stablecoins can move value internationally faster and more cheaply than correspondent-banking networks like SWIFT — a use case that has grown as USDC and USDT have established deep liquidity across chains including Solana.

Stablecoin Cards Utorg issues white-label Visa cards — both physical and virtual — that convert stablecoin balances to fiat at point of sale in real time. The cards are accepted at 80+ million merchants worldwide, enabling partners to offer branded crypto-linked spending to their end users without obtaining their own card program license.

How Integration Works

Utorg markets an API-first approach. Partners can integrate either by embedding a pre-built widget or by building a fully custom native flow against the documented API. The company publishes SDKs to accelerate time-to-market. Because KYC and AML are handled within the Utorg infrastructure, the integrating platform does not need to run its own identity-verification pipeline for on-ramp transactions, though partners remain responsible for their own compliance obligations in their respective jurisdictions.

The platform is non-custodial from the end-user perspective for on-ramp transactions: purchased crypto is sent directly to the wallet address the buyer supplies rather than held in a Utorg-managed account.

Compliance and Licensing

Utorg obtained full authorization under the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation, effective July 1, 2026 — the date when the MiCA transitional period ended and operating in the European Economic Area without authorization became prohibited. MiCA authorization covers all 29 EEA member states, a market of more than 450 million people, and requires ongoing reporting, supervisory oversight, segregation of user funds from company assets, and upfront fee disclosure.

The company also holds PCI DSS Level 2 certification for card payment processing, the same security standard applied across traditional payment networks, verified through independent audit.

Solana Fit

SOL appears in Utorg's supported-asset list alongside major layer-1 tokens and stablecoins. The broader stablecoin-settlement focus of Utorg's B2B products is naturally aligned with Solana's position as a high-throughput, low-fee network for USDC and USDT settlement. DApps, gaming platforms, and payment providers building on Solana that need to convert user fiat into SOL or Solana-native stablecoins are among the target customer segments for Utorg's on-ramp widget.

Target Customers and Partnerships

Utorg's stated customer categories are payment providers, crypto exchanges, fintechs, gaming platforms, DeFi protocols, e-commerce businesses, and AI-driven commerce platforms. Among disclosed partnerships: Telegram (wallet integration), Scorechain (blockchain analytics and compliance), Onramper (on-ramp aggregation), and a range of projects including Sei, FLUUS, Caduceus, TronNRG, and MOOI. The company has also announced entry into the US market and expanded support for Brazilian users via PIX.

Summary

Utorg occupies the B2B infrastructure layer of the on/off-ramp market: a licensed, compliance-equipped intermediary that lets digital-asset businesses avoid building their own fiat payment and identity infrastructure. Its July 2026 MiCA authorization differentiates it from many providers that were unable to meet the EU's unified crypto regulatory standard. For Solana projects that need a regulated fiat gateway without the overhead of building one, Utorg represents an integration-ready option with coverage across Europe and more than 130 countries globally.
